    Thanks Rick
    It’s time for me to get a compressor. Hand pumping works great. Until I started doing repairs and tuning.
    Thanks for the awesome review.

    Do to age and being a physical mess, I can not use a hand pump anymore. My only pcp is a seneca aspin where the built in pump failed a year ago or so. I love that rifle, it is accurate and has the best trigger I have ever seen. I do need to fill it though. The nearest place to fill a bottle is 325 miles one way. I see compressors from $120 to numbers that give me hives to read. Being on SS and a small VA disability pension I figure I could spend around $400 and then not eat for a year or two, (OK, its not that bad). Are there any low priced, good compressors?

    How similar is this to the umarex Readyair from your perspective?

      Hey there.. It's not similar.. the Ready Air is an entirely different product with advanced features. I will be showing that coming up here soon.

    Ha Rick Any truth to having longer fill hoses and elevating your gun to help with moisture! and what would be a good filter for filling guns How much maintenance is there to the GXCS4

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  10 месяцев назад

      Hey there. Interesting that you say longer hoses and elevating the gun / bottle. When possible I like to have my compressor lower than my gun or bottle. As for longer hoses, not sure. But I do like to use a small filter between the main fill hose and an extension. Not sure if any of it helps, but so far so good. As for the CS4, you need to keep the grease pot filled and check the water / coolant frequently. If you get one to fill bottles, you’ll be pushing it way harder for way longer than you would just filling guns. Just keep an eye on things.

      @@AirGunWeb Ha Rick is the rv antifreeze good for the cs4? and what do you recommend for a reasonable priced filter

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  10 месяцев назад

      @sunnysouthtwin - I have a video coming out today on winterizing the CS4. I’m using RV Antifreeze. I guess we’ll find out. As for a filter, the basic filter is all I use, the $20 variety. But filling bottles and with longer run time, I may look at a better filter. I’ll let folks know when/if I get something else.

    I have a manual pump for my Beemen Chief II. Since I had them, I only pumped the rifle once. Was a little stiff(pump) when the tank was about half full. My tank required 2000psi. On the low-end power for .177 pellets. The rifle and the pump both have gauges to ensure proper pressure is added.

    Ha Rick how about a comparison of this JTS and the GXCS4 love to see what you have to say about them.

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  10 месяцев назад +1

      Sure. If you need / want to fill bottles then the choice is easy. I like the CS4 a lot and I use it every time I go down to the range. I wish the converter was integrated. There’s more to go wrong with the CS4 and there’s more maintenance. So if you DON’T need to fill bottles, then the JTS is cheaper and has fewer moving parts. They are both good units. Pick the right one for the job.

      @@AirGunWeb Thanks Rick I am more concerned about the longevity of the two I would think the water cooled would last longer just not sure

    • @AirGunWeb

      @@sunnysouthtwin - Hey there. The jury is still out. I'm using the CS4 a lot more than the JTS because I'm using it to fill my pony bottles. I'm getting ready to add power to my covered shooting area so I can have 12v on hand, and I will start testing all the other units too. The JTS was built with longevity in mind. I think if that's all you're concerned about, either one will work as long as you stay in its particular lane.

    You mentioned, certain compressors will not "top off" the full PSI. What does this mean and how can you get the full max PSI for anything over 3000?

    So is a compressor that size only meant to fill airguns, or can u fill a bottle with it also? If u can fill a bottle, how big a bottle would it fill? Thanks.

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  Год назад

      Hey there. Yes this is only designed to fill airguns. If you try to fill bottles you will wear it out more quickly. If you are filling just pony bottles (up to 3L) then look at the GX Pumps CS4.
