I’ve got the Lilfoot 2.0, had it for about 5 months so far, using it to fill my Wildcat BT. I’ve used the compressor going on about 1 fill per day the past 5 months. It’s been flawless save for shutting off 10bar too soon. So it set the auto-off to 10bar higher than “supposed”. Love it!
I bought a Yong Heng water cooled compressor from Ebay for a little over 200 bucks and it's been great! Very good value for the cost if you have a tank to fill.
I emailed you guys a week ago for warranty work on my Impact M3 and guess what! Radio silence haven't heard back at all. Its okay, I found someone else that does warranty work for FX and he responded within minutes. So now he will be getting all of my business.
Hey, we're really sorry to hear that happened. What email did you send your request to? Give us a call today and we can help get that sorted out for you.
Hi, Great information, I learned the hard way , now I have a scuba tank and a 4k compressor to fill it, and 2 of the smaller compressor that I bought before the tank and big compressor. Live and learn. Thanks for the information!
I often fill my Gamo Coyote (110cc) and my wife’s Umerex Notos (55cc) with my hand pump. Fairly easy. Once you get the line charged it only takes 2-3 pumps per shot. I use my Omega compressor to fill my SCBA tanks and use those to fill my other high power guns.
Hey, you guys do have the Air Venturi Krypton compressor too. It's a good option (a very good compressor and more affordable) in case if Alkin being too expensive to afford.
realistically how long would it take for like the fx 4 stage hand pump(or whatever one is best) to fill an impact in comparison to the nomad? physical exertion aside?
I know what they are talking about, but it does bug me that they use the wrong term being one of the bigger names in airguns. There is a difference between the two, but it is easier to say scuba over SCBA.
There are low (2400-2640psi), standard (3000-3500psi) and high (3500-4500psi+) pressure SCUBA tanks. You can find 100 cubic foot 4500psi scuba tanks for a pretty decent price and that is basically a LOT of air at 4500psi…
When you have a tank hooked up to your gun tethered is there a regulator or something that keeps it from overfilling your tank or something special that you need
No. There is no regulator on the tank valve. You would need an in line regulator to keep it tethered, or just fill it up and shut off the valve when you hit your desired pressure.
I haven't had much luck with the nomad ll . The first one had about 25 fills before it failed (high pressure side ) warrantee fixed then the second one failed after less than fifty fills on my impact . Haven't had any luck getting the rebuild parts from anyone . Never ran it over ten minutes on a fill without properly cooling . Have it documented and left a bad taste for that make . Where can anyone get parts ?!!!!
I see air Venturi has a 1 liter tank how many times can you fill your 700 cc bottle when you’re reg is set at 150 bar and your topping it off to 250 bar
From what I've seen you are going to be pumping for like 30mins or more. Especially if the tank is empty. I saw that and just went and bought the JTS compressor. I am too old and lazy for all that and would need a nap before going out to shoot🤣
To many variables to be sure. Once you charge the line (5-10 pumps), 2-3 pumps per shot for lower power guns (15-18 grain pellets). For higher power guns, I’d guess 5-10 pumps per shot
My Nomad 2 blew in my house I do not recommend it after a yr of use I have a cheap air compressor and a hand pump and I do use it to fill my fx m3 580 tank and my fx mk2 and the taipan it's a work out but it works
I have the Nomad 2. I used it with the car battery with no issues until I changed the battery, now when I go to turn it on it say HI and does not do anything. Should've kept the old battery!! LOL
Has anyone tried the GX CS4 compressor, I saw it online and it goes up to 5800 psi and can fill scuba tanks as well !! It costs under 700$. I have the hill compressor and I didn’t want to buy 2 compressors 😅
I have the GX CS4 compressor, other than cleaning out the gunk of the water compressor by filling, running, draining, filling again a few times it's been great! There's a guy who reviews them here on RUclips who has a couple of aftermarket mods for it, such as a light to see the water running and an hour meter for the grease pot that I'd recommend. It's been a little annoyance not having them that would make the experience better if I did have them. I use it to fill my 700cc bottle and 6.8l scuba tank to 300 bar. It took about somewhere around 4 hours, maybe a little less, to fill the 6.8l from empty to 300 bar with a fairly large filter on the line.
So I recently won a giveaway for an Air Venturi Comp10 pistol. The res is 65cc with a maximum pressure of 300bar. I own no other PCP guns, and will likely be shooting an hour or so on the weekends only to start. Base on your info here, I should be perfectly fine using a pump and saving the money upfront instead of getting a tank or compressor, right???
I wonder why the nomad compressor is that expensive, besides the looks, they look identical to the 200 dollar Vevor compressors (same buttons, same auto shut off dial, same hose connection layout)......so its one Chinese company busting out different products really.
@@manchinator7773 yep, it’s an awesome compressor!! I started off with the gx3 and it was great! But now I have 2 gx4’s and a gx-k2 the big boy. I tried the k1 out as well, but honestly. The k2 is way better and only a few hundred extra.
I want to know why more air gun manufacturers aren’t offering a high quality self pumping pcp, like air venturis Seneca aspen - minus the cheap plastic stock. I want to see something high quality with some serious fpe. Anyone?
obvious answer..it takes up space and weight on the gun for no reason. most people dont want hand pumps and if they do they can have a separate hand pump thats more efficient and doesnt have to be carried on their gun 24/7
I bought an AirKing. Barely used it then it failed on warranty. Got it back. Failed. Chinese junk most of these compressors. I went with SCUBA cylinder 🇦🇺
The tank you showed is around 700? Or do you have to pay an extra 280 for the valve upgrade or do you get the same set up of tank you showed for around 700
It’s sad man, Airguns are way too expensive. They need to drop the price asap on these. There’s no reason why an airgun that’s got plastic parts to it is just about as expansive as a bone stock AR15. But then you only have to buy ammo for an AR15 to enjoy it. But an Airgun.. you gotta get tanks, hoses, ammo and a scuba tank if you’re on the road and need a way to fill them. Then when you’re at home and the the scuba tank is empty you’ll need a machine to fill that. So basically to enjoy a quality Airgun without having to constantly go to location spot to refill your single tank your easily at $2,500-$3,100 for an Ehh. Prob not the best of the best out there
I fill my FX Impact 4 using a Hills pump. It never gets completely emptied so just keep topping up nice work out.

Scuba only goes to 3000 psi ? Scba tanks go to 4500. Correct me if I’m wrong

What about using the hand pump for the FX DRS series?
Is that reasonable?
Do you guys use water/ oil filters at UA?

Hills evo compressor and a 9 litre tank. Never need to pay for air again

GX Cs-4 is cheaper and a much better pump than the nomad. Not to mention it can also fill scba tanks, unlike the nomad.
I guess one other thing I would like to ask, hearing that 7000lb tanks, guns and compressors coming I near future, any truth to that. Thanks

New AEA compressor up to 7500 psi only eurpa for now
How many years does your biggest tank last?
Most SCBAs have a 15 year life span.
every pcp tank has default 5 years Hydro inspection. Depends on your luck, 99% tank last for 15 years, some last for 20.
