Is the Pretendia the same as the Daystar? They look the same, and have the same features, can they be branded differently for different countries?

The TX200 looks good with the laminate stock and the ugly anti beartrap button doesn't look as out of place as it does on the wood stock versions. I would love Weihrauch to make a similar laminate stock with adjustable cheek piece. Its kinda crazy they havent already and instead added one onto the HW98.

The stock doesn't look as good any more with the black stippling removed. They shouldn't be cost cutting on a £600 break barrel.

As with a few others commenting, I also have the first gen one, it isn't bad, misses a reading now and again but it'll do .. NOW .. If I were to be in the market for a new ( or first time) chrono, I'd go for the ones you screw on the end of your barrel .. Saves all the faffing about..

Natechrony. Certified to 1fps over 1000fps. No error readings and definitely no elastic bands. Oh and maybe 50 quid at least cheaper.maybe

I’ve got the older version, always found it to be within a few fps of other chronographs. I’ve found them to be a bit fussy about how far back it’s mounted leading to it not recording the odd shot. As you said it requires a bit of free space out front to give best results, props for leaving in the unregistered shots. Once I got used to its foibles I’ve found it to be a great little tool.

Want to get myself one of the Gamo PT85. Can I use the Gamo Red Fire 4.5mm Pellets in it?

Have the v2 version and mine is registering shots that are not there. So, as example. First two shots are fine, I'm reloading for shot 3 and the v2 is already calling out a figure. Most of the times it's way off in numbers of the actual shots, i need to throw them out of the shot string. Find it very annoying.

And what you have demonstrated is what happened with the old version..it used to miss a lot of shots..not totally reliable..LMBR far better...yes biger,but better

I have dropped and ‘broken’ my v1 - unscrewed and reseated the connector on the mobo, sprayed with some isopropyl alcohol and cleaned It keeps up okay 👍 app is fine once you find the menu options I have a barrel mounted chrono from Ali express that allowed calibration and works great when I want to use pen and paper

All good bits of kit. With the Porta Aim, its easy to ding your stock. The pad is the same width as the metal it sits on.

I've got the older one, but the new one looks very compact, worth a look i think .

From what I’ve found over here in the states, is that w/o the sub 12 restrictions you can really dial in this gun for both slugs and pellets. Using .30 with 600mm barrel

Hello from New Zealand, I've 3 Weihrauch 2 being Hw97ht in .177 and .22.And the other a Hw80 mk1 in .22.All 3 have been purchased brand new,with the Hw80 in 1986 and the other 2 in the last 2 years.Have tried other makers over the years but always return to my Hw80 as my go to rifle. That trigger control and breathing technique is a must. I'm 58 now so yes that weight can be a bit of challenge carrying all day. I'm semi retried so do a bit of pest control and hunting.Have been looking at a Hw98 for a while but shipping orders can take up to a year. Really enjoy your no nonsense reviews and banter you have between yourselves. Keep it up from New Zealand.

The M4 manual,is online altho the trigger adjustment is anyones guess as the instructions are nothing like the video ..I have screws in most holes here but the video doesnt ...

Hi I have the AIR ARMS S410 extra fac with a shrouded barrel but can I have a moderator on it as well .. as I think it would look brilliant,, if so what would be the best one to fit please and would I need a special attachment? Any help greatly appreciated

I bought an entry-level Hic (similar price to your Pixfra) . It is more than good enough for ratting and you soon pick up differences in heat signatures between, say, hedgehogs and rats or even rats and wood mice. Thermal spotter plus night vision is the ideal for me. Away from air-gunning, we had a cat trying to take up residence having escaped from its real home. Once we identified its owners we all attempted to get the damn thing into a transporter basket, but it took off over the fence into the "green corridor" of the field with no chance of getting a visual on it- except the thermal found it out in seconds. It was a sunlit day, but the heat signature was unmistakeable. The itinerant feline is now back in residence with his owners (I hate cats)..

I got one on the way. FX did not invent the design. Snowpeak had a design like this years ago. FX just did it right and more modern. My K1 Huben will always be my favorite but this was purchased because i collect airguns. David

I've got the Pixfra Ranger 435,great value when I bought it over 12mths since,[£900] and it has over x3 magnification at base mag,5 different colour pallets.I just use it mainly for wildlife

I like your reviews but I'd like you to let us know what the rifles are chrono'd at. Saw an NP02 being reviewed on another channel and it was only putting out 10.5 ft lbs

Go back to the early 1980's I bought a FWB 124 Sport in .177. had it tuned by Venom Arms _(If they're still around!?)_ with a slight reduction in the barrel length and a silencer put on. At 20 yards, I was putting 5 pellets into a 5p piece. That gun was a lovely piece of kit with the 4-12 x 50 Scope of which I can't remember the make. But at the time I had a choice of the FWB 124 or the HW35 (?). I think my choice was perfect as Feinwerkbau made the best target air rifles back then. And I did use it for hunting. It's power and precision made pigeons and crows easy targets.

£1800 and FX haven't even bothered to make a new chassis for the M4. For that kind of money, I do not expect a cheap plastic bung, thrown in to cover the hole created by the missing regulator. (A REGULATOR THAT BUYERS WERE TOLD WAS A MUST HAVE). Will the next "upgrade" have no bung, and cost an extra £100 ? Or will it be coloured plastic for an extra £120? Mix and match mecanno rubbish. Not a bad video though, well done.

Looks aweful to me, maybe test more pellets first to find if any suit and lead it in. Trigger looks terrible which is something budget guns rarely address. If you look at the Record trigger it doesn't look very expensive.

I dont know why anyone would buy the FX impact M4 over the HW100 adjustable laminate especially at £600 more.

All of you should stop buying FX crap with their high prices and guns that look like toys.

Well done chaps. Another honest overview. I don't believe it's just the gauge that's been removed though, I think they've removed the second reg all together. So it's more like an upgraded MK2. I really wish FX would just put a bit more effort into getting a rifle right before starting to sell it, instead of bringing a new rifle out every couple of months, waiting for customers to tell them what's wrong with it, then charging a small fortune for add-ons to try and get it shooting as it should have originally 🙄

They have designed the the mk4 with a different lever so the bolt doesn’t go forward for PRS shooting lads , if you pull it back it stays back in between shots , the mk3 doesn’t 👍

I’ve owned the following FX air rifles, Impact MK 3, Wildcat MK3, and an FX Dynamic takedown rifle, and all three have had any number of problems. Personally speaking, I prefer the Eastern European air rifles, of which I have 3 AGT, 1 RTI, 1 Brocock Ghost and a Daystate Revere, all problem free. TBH I’ve not had a decent FX offering since the Xsor and I will never again buy into the FX hype. After all FX they have more relaunches and new models than Apple.😂 Thank you for a totally honest review, with no hype. FX lets reinvent the wheel and charge an astronomical price for our new wheel.
