Because I'm a geek, Torx is used generally as it has a greater contact surface area, reducing the chance of rounding off the bolt head and creating more torque.
Great review 👍🏻 i own a pepper laminate bolt action version of this ,well pleased with it, no problems at all, super accurate! Just ordered this self same one from May's of London as i would never set foot in Airgun centre again.
Good review again fellas. Would it be fair to say though that apart from having a cocking side lever a carbon bottle and an uprated mag that that is the R10TH
@rangecountryairguns5883 that's what I thought but defo a white ring like I'm not got my eye to scope right. But I know I have. Put a sun shade on it and still the same
Like watching Laurel and Hardy carrying out a review . I have watched a few of their gun reviews and they are informative but could be more professionally edited not really interested in problems one of them had with his car
Ok, well that is your opinion to which you are perfectly entitled. I however like the relaxed and informal style of presentation Peter and Lawrence portray. they not only give the viewer all the information on the rifle in question but they deliver that in a warm and friendly way, not unlike having a conversation with them both. I think there are too many videos on here that just seem to throw specifications at the viewer in a robotic style like reading of a spec sheet. It's just like these two guys could be talking to a customer over the counter in the shop. Well done Peter and Lawrence. Oh, and i like the rifle too.👍👍

Yep, i'd support a wholesale shift over to Torx on everything...
I have had a one since launch have added a carbon bottle and had no problems it’s in .177 and have original mags

Great review . After all the problems with my R12 and hence getting rid of, I personally wouldn’t touch one again .
That's a shame, very disappointing for you, if it was just the magazine's someone's had a good deal?
Great Video Guys , What a amazing gun
Good review again fellas.

What mounts are used to mount scope in this video ?
I have the metal magazine for my 177 R12. Ive had the pellets jam once. If i buy the plastic magazine will it fit ?
Yes they're completely interchangeable
If u get a good un.bsa r great.but getting a good un is hard at times.. not worth nearly 1450.thou.....
Could you share a link to the scope please
Hawk vantage wide angle
I have the r12 very nice riffle. I have the same scope but keep getting a white ring when looking through it. What is it please
Not sure of a white ring, normally you'll get a black ring inside the scope when your head is looking through it in the wrong position
