I’m consistently and continually surprised that Wendell Berry is not a more well known American writer.
He makes too much sense. People prefer nonsense.
Wendell Berry is one of the most narrow-minded simpletons in history. The rustic charm he may give off really doesn’t hide the overwhelming fact that he’s an ignorant man who doesn’t understand the world around him.
It doesn’t surprise me at all. Some of his ideas go against the corporate state. What a amazing treasure though. Everyone should have to read his his first book.
@@Blue3Sky7 Nathan Coulter?
I have about 60 students every semester read the essay "Think Little" by Berry. I'm trying to push them to consider his views on the world. Most of my students love his POV.
What a laid-back but articulate guy! And anyone who loves Wendell is a good person.
Nick is right on about the great Wendell Berry, whom everyone should read at some point in their lives.
Reassuring to hear from an actor like Offerman who takes long form writing so seriously, and who's still so grounded in what matters.
Respect Nick for choosing such an important book. His voice and cadence is perfect for the Unsettling Of Americas content too.
Wendell Berry should receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom!!!
I want to see this documentary. Love Nick Offerman. He is very well spoken and I agree with his ideas.
What a great tribute to the great sources of literature & wisdom available to all of us. "From Shakespeare to..."
What a brilliant explanation of Wendell Berry’s ethos.
Imagine being a fan of Berry and then shilling for Warren instead of advocating for Bernie Sanders. Weirdo.
Warren has had a career dedicated to protecting the weak.
