    The “Lookdown” you caught looks to be an Atlantic Moonfish. Nice video!

    Thank you for the adventure! I think those slick spots might be current upwellings caused by the wind. Kinda like tide lines but randomly determined by wind direction.

    Just wish I was there! Wanted to come before Memorial Day but... Everything seems to be harder now that I'm in my '70s. This is by far my favorite time be on the coast. Thanks for making it possible for us to follow along.

    Glad you mentioned Will with cooking with clams. I live what he does. I don't see you guys scale the macs. Is it because they don't need it or it's too boring to show?

    Great video, two nice days on the water. The wind looked fickled moving around.
    The bite looked great and fun.
    Sashimi mackerel, looked really good. Does the size of the fish matter with that sashimi presentation?
    Great adventure, thanks for bringing us along.
    Cheers

    drag smoking action! all kinds of variety and insights/techniques in this one. another good catch and cook -i would add some sticky rice and wasabi to spice it up even a bit more - do some sushi rolls and if you can get some good seaweed salad also a good addition - tight lines. people do not get how rough and windy it can get out thre - props for making it look easy - again the motor really helped you on this one tracking down the albies #birds #trolling #fish painter pics

    I got that same Fenwick HMG rod as you have but paired with a Penn 4500 Slammer so I have much more power than the reel you are using. It makes short work of those Bonitas Spanish and even big bluefish. Its still fun on a small reel. But that Fenwick HMG rod makes all the difference.😎 Keep up the great vids bro.About to go to Destin for 3 days of fishing with a good buddy of mine thats a charter cptn. 🤘🤘👊

    You ever tried throwing a Mirradine out there? I bet both the Spanish and the big Bluefish would smoke that lure. I have had good luck with it in the waters like you were fishing. Either that or a bone colored top water lure by Heddon or Mirrolure. Just saying😎

    What do you think is causing this increase in sharks?

    • @EliasVFishing
      @EliasVFishing  Месяц назад +5

      There was a ton here a few years back - some years not so many. Having a 54” minimum size on blacktips and all the other sharks being more or less protected will do it.
