- My dad definitely lightens up in this episode. Also, enjoy the extra-long episode. I couldn't find places to cut earlier so I decided to leave most of the full thing in(hopefully copyright doesn't bite me in the ass).

Oh no, the after-credits scene! X3 Try to keep a list of those. Most of the ending songs are about a minute and thirty seconds; you can usually notice those if the episode ends before 22 minutes in lol
They didn't miss too much here, just Izuku coming out and smiling to his mom and her silly crying lol
Still, the scene is totally worth it. And I even prepared to ask if they liked it or not but still forgot in the end.
You might actually want to tell them in advance how, in Japan, they really like using random English words and phrases as nicknames because it just sounds cooler to them than it actually is, but to us Americans, "Emergency Exit Iida" is pretty silly lol

Never actually watched Attack on Titan. I keep getting mixed responses about it and at this point I'm puzzled. What are the good and bads of the show?

I've watched MHA countless of times and this is the first time I noticed the principal cheering for Deku when he saved Uraraka.

Idk maybe I see bit of my dad here. He prefers Sci-fi from Fantasy so he wouldn't care for Game of Thrones while getting the appeal. Same kind of feeling here

Well I can't "force" anything on them. They watch this because they want to, not because I told them to. I don't even live with them so trying to do other content is a little bit out of reach(besides Death Note but that's having Copyright issues) right now. Regardless, I'm glad that you enjoy them!

Can't fault your father on the crying in some other shows I hated it how much the characters cried although in his defense deku was a nerdy bullied kid and he's still only 15 so he's having to overcome who he was vs who he now is

None taken. Though I think they're holding onto the idea of the show. They're liking it more and more so. But do you mean old comics as in American Comics? Superman, Batman, etcetera? Because if so, my parents know all about them, they're in their late fifties.
The original dub is so much better.
I think they’re both good in their own rights. Though my parents wouldn’t be able to follow along with the story whilst trying to read the subtitles.

My parents wouldn't be able to follow the Japanese dub. The English dub is far superior in this situation.
MattoSkuper I didn’t mean to say that it was wrong to show them the dubbed version. I was just saying that personally I prefer watching anime with Japanese sub more than dub.
