Aizawa seems like an overly harsh jerk, but from his POV, Izuku has no talent. People get Quirks at around age 4. So from Aizawa's perspective, he's had 10 years to figure out how to use his ability, but still hasn't. UA is a school for the best young potential heroes in Japan and they can't waste time on someone who can't be flexible with their ability.
SnowyWolborg and Aizawa doesn't want him to die or lead other heroes to death by being a liability

I think of Aizawa as a territorial mother hen. Extremely protective of his kids, but he won't care for any he initially sees as weak or out of place. Similar to how hens will disown/abandon weak chicks, or completely ignore/attack chicks that aren't theirs. So the way he treats Midoriya makes sense. Midoriya is a chick that doesn't belong in Aizawa's nest. But after a little convincing, like a mother hen, Aizawa reluctantly "adopts" him.
In other words: I love how much he cares about these kids, in a "I don't care about them, but I'll f*ck you up if you touch them" sort of way. And I, too, think that will become apparent to her in later episodes. XD
Coming into this late, but just wanted to say: latecomers still find this enjoyable (people like me are just finally watching My Hero Academia loL). Your mom and dad are adorable from how they interact with each other to how they watch the show. It doesn't feel..."commercial/trying too hard" overproduced like a lot of youtube reaction videos. I legit appreciate how your mom has a different take compared to your dad (your dad is just scary with predicting spoilers lol). It's interesting to see how how they're reacting a few episodes in and settling in for the long haul. I also appreciate that you, MattoSkuper, when you ask them questions. You let them answer, and you don' overwhelm them. SO it feels like a good, honest balance between you and your parents. Also you ask some good questions or clarify things they were asking, but without overriding them with the fact you've seen this before them.

Mostly every day. Might have a day where one isn't uploaded, this is mainly because my parents have to drive to my place to do these, which is a five minute drive.
