I gotta say as a huge AOT fan, I’ve watch tons of reactions and rankings of the OP’s and ED’s, and I gotta say this is definitely the best and my favorite. You both made sure to react to every single opening and ending, find subtitles for each one and actually took the time to analyze each one and understood their meaning perfectly. No other reactor has done this to this level. Huge props to the people that helped in making sure everything was in there. It was a very emotional ride and unforgettable journey. And in the last second of the song in streaming and offical platforms, after the song ends, Eren talks and clearly says "to you in 2,000 years, .. or perhaps 20,000 years". Perhaps not only being a reference to how Ymir waited for someone for 2000 years, but the boy and the dog stumbiling across the cave potentially another 2,000 or 20,000 years after the end.

Plus the characters on the first side of the wall are the ones who don't have anything to hide, but the ones on the second side of the wall are the titan shifters + Historia, who had not been revealed to be Historia at that moment.

I am so glad you guys were as obsessed with My War as I was when I first watched. It's so evocative, catchy, artistic, cool, and meaningful at the same time! it's quite literally a perfect opening! Isayama said he was listening to that song as he was writing/drawing the final chapters too, that's how much it resonated with him!
the final ending "see you later" song is a depiction of mikasa finally seeing eren after they both die, hence her waking up with her hand holding his, similar to how hange wakes up and sees erwin and everyone else after her death

The rumbling was number one on the list of best metal songs for weeks. And it is my cellphone ringtone, it makes me jump everytime but I'm not gonna change it.
The switch from these heroic, hopeful, melancholic, beautiful pieces of music, into the absolute inhumane haunting choir of My War was a traumatic event during release i swear. AND THEN IT GOT WORSE GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW only jojo comes close in terms of EDs and OPs, and AoT still sweeps.
AoT is one of those very few series that still manages to punch me in the gut with this indescribable wave if emotion every once in a while when I think back on it...some kind of mix of anger, love and sadness. I've been waiting for you guys to finish the series before watching the reactions, I'm very excited to go back and re-experience it all again. Openings 1-3 & 5 are done by Linked Horizon. Each one takes something from the previous one. Except for OP4 which was supposed to be the ED4 but they exchanged it, so we’ll find references from OP3 with ED4 which is “Give your hearts“ and then ED4 with OP5 which was Requiem. And ofc they brought all of it together at the end in the final opening.
I rarely see people react to that actual ending song, the "To You in 2000..." one, and I'm so glad you did! That's my personal favorite, I had to just go and spend a whole day to learn it the first time I heard it.

First I want to say, thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. I know many of us would love to completely forget AoT and experience it again for the first time, as that's impossible, thank you for letting us experience that by proxy. The immediate placement of OP6 in S was such a mood, by far my favorite opening because it hooks you in so quick, and its so unique, as anime openings go. Especially towards the end of the seasons, there is so much meaning in the lyrics, looping back to events in the first seasons that just make you feel like every moment leading up to here mattered.

SiM released a 'music video' of sorts for Under The Tree which is like a super cut montage of shots from the final episode, and it hits so fucking hard. The little kid getting crushed with his coins, the officer shooting himself, the fight on top of the bones, oh man its crazy how well everything fits with the lyrics. Everything by SiM is just chef kiss. Also your reaction to ED 3 is exactly why i think it's dumb to try and convince people that the OPs and EDs spoil people. I was watching week to week, and unless you were caught up with the manga this shit was utterly baffling and meaningless. It's only a spoiler if you have hindsight, but if you miss it you miss the foreshadowing and the mystery that comes with it.

What i love about the Attack on Titan openings and endings, if you read the lyrics, it tells the whole AoT story and adds to it (ex from Eren POV), many times even before shown later in the series! Also about many confusing parts about Eren, he literally tells it to you in these.
This show absolutely has the best openings and endings when it comes to the themes and story they portray in them. I also think that no other shows openings or endings hit as hard after finishing the show. Its feels like everything is set up and foreshadowed in the openings/ending right from the start.

i rarely see people that actualy pay attention to the lyrics, those meaning of the lyrics are crazy
the final ending "see you later" song is a depiction of mikasa finally seeing eren after they both die, hence her waking up with her hand holding his, similar to how hange wakes up and sees erwin and everyone else after her death
I love how Haylee immediately love My War/Boku no Sensou , I have the same reaction the first time I hear the song, its still in my cardio work out playlist too. :D
I can't imagine watching the series without the openings every episode.

Akuma no Ko and that first ED they both compliment each other and Requiem of the Dawn all favs

You don't even know if the scenes shown in the OP are what is going to happen or are they an artistic choice until they actually happen. The fans just confirm it and ruin it for the reactors.

And it is my cellphone ringtone, it makes me jump everytime but I'm not gonna change it.
The switch from these heroic, hopeful, melancholic, beautiful pieces of music, into the absolute inhumane haunting choir of My War was a traumatic event during release i swear.

AoT is one of those very few series that still manages to punch me in the gut with this indescribable wave if emotion every once in a while when I think back on it...some kind of mix of anger, love and sadness. I've been waiting for you guys to finish the series before watching the reactions, I'm very excited to go back and re-experience it all again. Openings 1-3 & 5 are done by Linked Horizon. Each one takes something from the previous one. Except for OP4 which was supposed to be the ED4 but they exchanged it, so we’ll find references from OP3 with ED4 which is “Give your hearts“ and then ED4 with OP5 which was Requiem.
And ofc they brought all of it together at the end in the final opening.
'My War' rating didn't disappoint.
I rarely see people react to that actual ending song, the "To You in 2000..." one, and I'm so glad you did! That's my personal favorite, I had to just go and spend a whole day to learn it the first time I heard it.
It's so beautiful that it's not untill the end of the story that you realize all the lyrics that were Eren's words to his friends and Mikasa's to him. 😭

I remember when opening 4 Red Swan was released, in the manga Eren was talking to Mikasa that he hated her, so it was already painful to watch that time as in the manga the trio was falling apart. 💔💔

The immediate placement of OP6 in S was such a mood, by far my favorite opening because it hooks you in so quick,
and its so unique, as anime openings go. Especially towards the end of the seasons, there is so much meaning in the lyrics, looping back to events in the first seasons that just make you feel like every moment leading up to here mattered.

SiM released a 'music video' of sorts for Under The Tree which is like a super cut montage of shots from the final episode, and it hits so fucking hard. The little kid getting crushed with his coins, the officer shooting himself, the fight on top of the bones, oh man its crazy how well everything fits with the lyrics. Everything by SiM is just chef kiss.
Also your reaction to ED 3 is exactly why i think it's dumb to try and convince people that the OPs and EDs spoil people. I was watching week to week, and unless you were caught up with the manga this shit was utterly baffling and meaningless. It's only a spoiler if you have hindsight, but if you miss it you miss the foreshadowing and the mystery that comes with it.

The full length version of the rumbling is also EXCEELLENT. The second half makes it twice as good.
What i love about the Attack on Titan openings and endings, if you read the lyrics, it tells the whole AoT story and adds to it (ex from Eren POV), many times even before shown later in the series! Also about many confusing parts about Eren, he literally tells it to you in these.
The very first time i heard the "BEWARE" with the foot drop, instantly the best anime OP of all time.

This show absolutely has the best openings and endings when it comes to the themes and story they portray in them. I also think that no other shows openings or endings hit as hard after finishing the show. Its feels like everything is set up and foreshadowed in the openings/ending right from the start.
