from what i hear, the production of JJK season 2 the animation not that good, because MAPPA prioritize its resources to focusing for AOT Movie Final Season. that production time is almost the same . Thats why the animation little bit weird, season 1 animation is more better than season 2. and they have 3 project at the same time too. AOT Movie Final Season, JJK Season 2, and 1 anime that im not sure that name
Fun tidbit: The hits Nanami dished out during the fighting in this movie was actually his 4-times-in-a-row black flash record that he mentioned during the flashback while Itadori and Todo were fighting the plant curse! Ack, this movie always makes me tear up again, thanks for the watch you guys :')
It's said Yuta was over seas on season 1. And also Miguel (the one who fought gojo) is a mercenary for hire. So he's not nessary "bad" he just does whatever someone's hires him for
Only second grade sorcerers and above can do solo missions. That’s why we don’t see Yuta as often, because hes a working special grades so he gets the hardest missions and in season 1 he was doing a semester abroad with Miguel who we saw in the post credit scene on Gojo’s recommendation.

Gojo: "No one's allowed to take youth away from the young." I've always loved that line of his, he said the same thing about why he wanted Yuuji to participate in the Exchange event.
and after seeing s2, and his past with Geto..It is clear that line/philosophy of his comes from his realization that it was the same youth being taken away from Geto that led him to that path.

The after credit scene takes place during the end of season 1 when Gojo was missing on business. There's a quick page in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Manga were Gojo bullies Miguel (the dark skinned guy working for Geto) into training Yuta in Kenya (were this scene takes place).
Also in case no one has said it. In the initial plans for JJK Yuta was meant to be the protagonist but after some back and forth with his editor Gege changed it to Yuji. I forget the exact timeline but a full volumes worth of chapters had already been completed before this decision was made which was then made into volume 0 and is more or less turned into the movie you enjoyed. I really enjoy the order the anime did this and the first arc of season 2 were we slowly go back through the timeline to figure out how everything went wrong in the current story.
JJK 0 was actually the first thing ever to release for JJK. it was a one shot that did so well that JJK proper began. it got adapted after season 1, so it's a good place to watch it. regardless of its origin..... it is truly PEAK KAISEN!

I read that Gojo's speaker, I don't know if it was English or Japanese, I think the former, said 3 words to Geto that we couldn't hear. At the point where Gojo kneeled down to Geto and we couldn't hear what he said. I am and remain convinced that it was "I love you" and I don't mean that in the sense of "I want to be your lover" (to bring down the homophobes). But in the sense of "You are my best friend". That's why Geto replied that he should hit him with curses (not nice words) when he dies. And another little fun fact that isn't a spoiler. Geto's speaker was instructed to pronounce Gojo's name very gently. Now you'll never miss it again, you're welcome ;)

JJK only gets more and more emotional as it goes on. It starts of as an above average, kinda generic, shonen battle anime with an intriguing premise but then as the story goes on it peels back layers upon layers of deep and amazing storytelling. Season 2 will not disappoint, but make sure to bring tissues.

It's interesting to me the amount of people that don't seem to realize a big part of Geto's actions in JJK 0 is showmanship, tbh. And how his actions at times contradict what he said. Geto wants to eliminate non-sorcerers, but his declaration of war gave the school time to evacuate them? Geto "hates" non-sorcerer like Maki, but he didn't kill her when he had the chance? He gave Yuuta ample time to place the injured students somewhere relatively safe to heal, and didn't take advantage of their incapacitation in his fight against Yuuta? Also, not a lot of people acknowledge Gojo intentionally endangering his own students for Yuuta's development either. Interesting. Geto being "a kind man" is referencing him ensuring his family's safety, unlike Gojo endangered his students based on "trust" upon a supposed criminal. Sorcerers are not heroes. Most of them are in this for self-affirmation. Recognize how Yuuta said "I don't know what you (Geto) are talking about. But in order for me to feel okay for being alive, I have to kill you (for hurting my friends." I guess some of it is bias from watching JJK S1 first, so most have a set vision of what they thought Gojo & the others are?
100% agreed, everything seems like a suicide mission... he was done with it and wanted to die... fu** Yuta honestly... he killed best character and took away the chance to have a proper geto vs gojo moment.

I saw the movie right after finishing the 5-episode Hidden Armory Arc, and I gotta say, I feel it was the right choice. You get so much more nuance and appreciation for the events of this movie after watching those episodes. How Gojo acts, deeper insight of how Geto acts as well as some of the characters that show up (mainly the twins). I feel if I had watched this movie first, it wouldn't have hit as hard because I wouldn't have understood the deeper story of how these events came to be.

As a teen, maybe. But I would say that Geto was just better-adjusted than kinder. Gojo's actions always expressed a kindness within him even if he acts egotistical on the outside.
After so many rewatches, I still don't understand how they say the four bullies were gravily injured due to Rika and immediately afterwards show a clearly dead blob of a dude inside the locker. That dude is dead, there's no amount of reverse cursed energy that's getting that dude back into a functioning state.
In season 1, during the prison arc it’s said that Gojo was away in a business trip, he was in Kenia ‘visiting’ Yuta. That’s where he gets the souvenirs for the Kyoto students. Also Yuta is constantly mentioned by the second graders and he makes a cameo in the opening.

The movie is actually based on a one shot chapter (a series made of one longer manga chapter) that the author published before he wrote jjk so Yuta was technically the first mc in jjk before itadori. The movie was released after season one though and everything from the one shot is cannon.
It is the highest grossing movie in japan till this date surpassing Demon slayer Mugen train, One Piece Z, One Piece Stampede etc and even all previous live action movies.
One interesting thing I noticed, Geto is using the same staff Maki uses in season 1, but she stores it in the shadows created by Megumi...does that mean Geto absorbed someone with that same Ten Shadows technique or does she store it in Fushiguro's shadows to avoid it being stolen by someone like Geto again
I remember seeing this movie when It came out in the theatres with my friend they aren’t anime heads like I am or just JJK fans but I was so hyped from start to finish this movie is a certified masterpiece 💯🐐👑
JJK zero was written before JJK itself and Gege the mangaka originally wrote Yuta as the main protagonist of the series. But while writing it he realised that Yuta wasn’t what his story needed, so he restarted JJK with Yuji as the protagonist, and he kept Yuta and his team characters. That’s why Yuta is so protagonist coded, because he was originally suppose to be the protagonist. Later in the story during the last 2 arcs, Yuta does actually become almost a co-protagonist again. Hyped to see him return in JJK season 2

JJK zero was written before JJK itself and Gege the mangaka originally wrote Yuta as the main protagonist of the series. But while writing it he realised that Yuta wasn’t what his story needed, so he restarted JJK with Yuji as the protagonist, and he kept Yuta and his team characters. That’s why Yuta is so protagonist coded, because he was originally suppose to be the protagonist. Later in the story during the last 2 arcs, Yuta does actually become almost a co-protagonist again. Hyped to see him return in JJK season 2
unpopular opinion: I think yuta is much more interesting as a main character and has muich more materials for it than yuji
@@alanscott6005 I kinda agree, but I get why Yuji is the protagonist. It’s because of his personal connection to Sukuna. Yuji isn’t super OP like Yuta, it’s more he’s the perfect counter to Sukuna specifically.

@@alanscott6005 Nah he's just a bland character as compared to Yuji. Just like Gojo he's way too gifted and would be a trash mc. Him as protagonist wouldn't actually work and Gege made the right choice making Yuji as the protagonist.

Also regarding Yuta eating with Miguel, i´ve always seen it as that the JJ-Sorcerer population is so tiny that you can´t just try to label everyone as permanent enemy, as long as they have not done atrocious stuff.
