    Hi everyone! Sorry i’ve been MIA as of late. I’ve been really busy the past couple of weeks. I should have two more videos releasing very soon! Both will feature a now grounded (as of 1/18/2024) United Airlines 737 MAX 9. Those videos should be released within the next few weeks. Thanks again for all of the support lately! It really means a lot!

      United definitely has a large presence at SFO, especially with flights to destinations in Asia!

    At the 1:07 point in the video, it sounded as if an engine got shutdown, rather than started. Does anyone know what that sound was? I don't think the APU shutting down would be as noticeable as what was heard at 1:07. FWIW, there was a normal engine start about a minute later at 2:09 in the video. Nice video BTW. Happy landings.

      The startup process involves the APU redirecting air to the first engine to make it spin. Although I’m not entirely sure how it works, I’m guessing some of the onboard systems have to temporarily stop during this process. Somebody in the know can correct me on this.

    I flew on this exact plane from sfo to hnl in 2002 👍

      The 757 still holds up despite its age!

      Definitely not this exact plane. This was a Continental 757 at that time and CO never had any scheduled service HNL-SFO. You are mistaken. It’s a different aircraft than you flew on. United did fly 757-200, though. The -300 came from Continental.

    were those two planes landing on crossing runways right after you took off?? scary

    • @JVAviation
      @JVAviation  8 месяцев назад

      It was! It’s very common for planes to land right away after planes take off from the crossing runway at SFO.

      Some viewers like watching the whole sequence of pushback, engine start, taxi, and takeoff, which is why I start recording when the pushback starts. Depending on the length of the taxi, the video could be very short or it can be very long. However, your comment did give me the idea to include the timestamp of the takeoff so it will be easier for viewers to view the takeoff. In future videos I will make sure to include it. Thanks for watching!
