Nice story! I guess mine was similar, in that I had a Lithuanian partner - I would never have discovered Lithuania/Lithuanian without that link, as I think what we learn about Lithuania is even more limited in the UK! I don't think I learnt anything about Lithuania or any Baltic countries in school.

I think there are a lot of people out there that only got in touch with the LT language through a partner. But that’s the cutest way, I think 😁 Loving something so much to be willing to dive into the Lithuanian depths of LT grammar with its ups and downs! What better proof of love? 😄
