This is why I love living here in the Valley. So much nature to explore. I've been to the North Rim, South Rim, but this past year I did go to the West Rim and though it is a little costly, it is very worthwhile. The Hualapai have put together great packages to share and respectfully enjoy their land. at 9:10, they did not "mine" for guano. That structure was part of an aerial tramway built in the 1950s, since discontinued. And it looks like MaxTour has a good deal as well. I'll be sure to keep in mind for visitors, nice they do a Death Valley tour as well.
Took a small plane tour of the Grand Canyon back in the early 1990s. It was amazing. Have some great photos. Also did a Hoover Dam bus tour in the 1990s and that was cool too. May have to do the tours again. Thanks Matthew.

That was such a great vlog. I drove to the Hoover dam one day, done the sky walk, and also flew over the Hoover dam twice with Maverick helicopters. It’s a great adventure. 🏖️🏖️🏖️💝💝💝
Worth it went with friends once rented a car while in Vegas hit up the Grand Canyon and driving back at nite into Vegas it looks like champagne glittery bubbles🥳😎🤩

Grand canyon west is incredible, no doubt. Next time, try one of the tours that go to grand canyon national park. It is a longer ride, but it is just so much MORE. I like to tell people that grand canyon west is the overture, but the park is the symphony. The views at the national park are the ones you see on the magazines and calendars. And the people at the park are park rangers, so are very knowledgeable. Oh, the restaurant at west used to be called Guano cafe. That means bat shit cafe, an example, I think, of Indian humor.
A 12-hour tour is what you promised me when you showed me your room in Vegas! It actually ended up being shorter than this video!😡 Although, you did give me a banana 🍌 in the end!🥳🥰
Driving from Phoenix you always had to drive over the Hoover Dam and also through Boulder City. Now with the O Callahan/Tillman Bridge and the I-11 Bypass you have the option to stop at the dam and city or just drive straight through. So much to see just outside of Las Vegas!
Matthew, thank you so much for your informative videos about the Las Vegas area!! Always enjoy! Maxtours looks like fun but in contacting them found out they don’t accommodate people with walkers ( me). Do you have a recommendation of a tour company that does accommodate for “walkers” & such.
Seems like a good day. I could easily lose 200.00 at a casino in 12 minutes. Best to have a day off from the ding ding ding of the casino floor. She seems cool, too.

I want to do a helicopter day flight and a night flight over Vegas.
I've done a flight in Kauai, Hawaii and it was awesome!
