I have a question for ya: how have those mufflers held up over the years? Has the packing burnt away? I've read that it happens over time but never really asked anyone that's run these mufflers. And also is there any annoying drone? Thanks! That's a sweet ride you got there!
Thank you I appreciate that! Honestly they have held up great for me over the years. No issues. Ive used the same type of muffler on several other cars over the years also with no issues. Also, Ive never had any drone issues with this style of muffler. Even at 70-80 mph with 3.55s or 4:10s on my old car, part throttle volume is very nice. I do use “x”-pipes in all of my systems as well. Helps with less drone too I’m pretty sure. Tone has changed maybe a tad over the years, but I think that happens in the very first bit of driving if anything. Has stayed pretty consistent, and will continue to buy them without hesitation for any of my projects.
Yeah, I got a 1985 Chrysler Fifth Avenue. Hopefully when I bring it out next year and get my carburetor back in good condition, it will sound just as good. I'll probably just keep my original setup though.
Looks exactly like my old '83 Diplomat former ILL state trooper car. (cah if you're from Bah'ston)
Looking great! soon I need to get that 8 1/4 put in my fifth with some firm feel sway bars
Will make a huge difference! And be much more solid too.
Dang, yeah. That was pretty good.😕🙂🤓🤠😎😏👍✌️👋👏💪🌾🍀🌿🍃🇺🇸
What kind of mufflers are under this car?!

What’s your rev limiter set at?
I think at this video it was set at 5500. I think its bumped up to 5800 now.
That was awesome!
