      @@wholefedhomestead I just restarted my live at 36 and I’m living in a RV…. I’m extremely tired, drained and depressed right now and a little lost. I just found your channel and I’ve been binging your videos today. I can’t seem to find the energy to eat well or cook myself anything. Funny because I love to cook. Unfortunately that’s what true depression does to you. I wish I could get my enthusiasm for life back like you seem to have ❤️

    This was a great video ! I prefer to freeze my eggs in singles so that I can take one egg at a time as a recipe calls. But after seeing this , I’m am going to make a few containers of 12 eggs as that’s how many I use for my breakfast egg bake casserole.

    This unironically solved one of my biggest issues cause i like my whites EXTRA crispy and thin and my yolks barely cooked, and everywhere i looked said "don't freeze eggs without scrambling cause they get weird!" but they never showed them... Turns out! Those weird looking fried eggs are EXACTLY what I want! Now I can save up a bit of change by buying eggs when they're at more reasonable prices and enjoy my breakfasts just how i like them :) thanks a lot!

    This is great, love the containers. I freeze eggs for my greyhound, and she will appreciate the winter egg supply. I can use my eggs for myself, but the dogs really love the extra protein daily. In a pinch I have frozen them in the shell for her but always get the same yolk you have shown. I know she doesn't really care💚

    That was excellent! (or eggcellent) Thank you for taking the time to do that. I had no idea. I had seen one of those little shorts about freezing raw eggs in their shells and then slicing and frying them. The guy who cooked them made the "yuck" face when he tasted them. After watching your presentation, I understand why. Your teaching technique and your voice made me subscribe and give the thumbs up. Thanks again.

  • @reneebrown2968
    @reneebrown2968 10 месяцев назад +1

    If you want to keep eggs whole try just oiling the egg after cleaning them. Farm fresh eggs will easily last 6 months and will easily be used as a fresh egg, which it is. The eggs you buy at the store are usually a 6 month old egg.

      Won't the oil go rancid? What do you mean 'after cleaning them'? Wash the shell and then oil the shell? Do you refrigerate these oiled eggs?

    Thanks for sharing this, i was searching this because i want to prepare my breakfast in advance so I dont have to do it daily early in the morning. My question is, what if i prepared omelette and frozen it, or mixed some vegetables with it, will this do anything bad?
    Another question, after you take it out from freezer, do you refreeze the rest again?

    • @wholefedhomestead
      @wholefedhomestead  3 месяца назад

      I wouldn't mix veggies into the eggs. You could freeze them separately though. I would not refreeze the eggs either.

    Do not freeze your eggs whole without mixing them up because the yolk gets very hard and rubbery when you freeze them whole without mixing them up.
