The frozen egg trick is also good if you want to make a 1/4 or 1/2 batch of a recipe that uses one or two eggs (like a couple of cupcakes or muffins, or a mug cake). The egg protein starts to denature if it is in the freezer more than a week, so use slices with before then.
I tried the one where you freeze a whole egg, then peel it, slice it and fry it. OMG!! It works perfectly! I love your tips, and save the videos to watch again. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Thank you...your ideas are brilliant and you really do have amazing talent but what l really appreciate...is your ability to remain humble about it...thanks again.!👊
I seriously don't think I've ever watched an episode that you've made, where I didn't end up saving it to my "make these" playlist. I do have to say that it freaked me out a little bit when you started talking more in videos, but I like it. Keep doing what you're doing.
Wow! 👀 Freezing the egg and then slicing it before frying was a dope trick and cutting the egg with the spring from the pen was a cool idea.. great tips in this vid👍
2:30 I used to make Easter eggs this way, with Bavarian cream fillings, served in a little nest of toasted coconut. You can make several flavors - berry, chocolate, lemon - to give them colors.
That sounds delicious! Bavarian cream-filled Easter eggs with toasted coconut nests sound like a creative and tasty treat. It's great to hear that you've tried making them before with different flavors. Thanks for sharing your experience and ideas!🥰
@@WebspoonWorld The funny part is that I made them for the family when I was in high school - more than sixty years ago! Thanks for bringing back a happy memory of Easter past.
Every one of your "hack" videos are absolutely mind boggling! I learn something new from each one. Today's video on eggs is astounding. I LOVE poached eggs but can never get them quite like they do in restaurants. Now, thanks to you, I think I know their secret. Oh, and using packing tape to peel hard boiled eggs? GENIUS! Thanks so much for these videos. PEACE
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that you enjoy my videos and find them helpful in the kitchen. It's always my goal to make cooking and baking accessible and enjoyable for everyone. If you have any specific requests or suggestions for future videos, please feel free to let me know. Happy cooking! ❤️
Great idea boiling eggs in a kettle.I cooked my quail eggs in the kettle. I let it boil, then left the eggs in the kettle for 5 minutes, perfect boiled eggs. I did the same with medium sized chicken eggs and left them for 15 minutes.Perfect results both times.Love all of your cooking hacks. Thank you so much😘🇪🇸
He makes cooking SEXY. Watching his hands and seeing random eggs coming from his pockets, twirling a wooden spoon, very entertaining and smart cooking!
Normally I watch hack videos like this and think 'I have just wasted 10 minutes of my life' but these ideas are really inventive and I can't wait to try them out. Especially the pen spring cutter and mini frozen eggs. 👍🏻🥚
I have tried the poking with a pin before boiling and found it dries out the egg if you are saving some for later. The best method I found out recently for making hard boiled eggs is to put a teas. of vinegar and a pinch of salt in the water while boiling , the vinegar softens the shell and when cooled the shell peels off very easily.
Easiest way to peel boiled eggs is to toss them into a bowl of ice and water...after a couple minutes you can peel the egg easily in a second. No salt or vinegar, or anything needed but Ice and Water.
Easy Peel Boiled Eggs: Put eggs in pan, barely cover with water. Boil 1 and a 1/2 minutes. Remove pan from heat. Cover pan. Let sit at least 10 minutes (I let sit for up to an hour.) Drain water. Put lid back on pan and hold tightly closed. Shake the bejeepers out of the pan. Take lid off and behold your almost peeled eggs! Works 99.9% of the time.
I really, really enjoy watching these tips. You seem sweet, creative, tricky, smart, and all male. I love it! It warms this old mama's heart... Thank you Webspoon World team! Blessings! :)
As noted by fellow viewer "Ruralvixon," I too favor the tiny frozen egg slices!! _as always Alexander, I am charmed by your creativity and willingness to share your clever tricks!_ **Thank you** 🥰🍽
This site is consistently good. There is never a technique demonstrated that is not useful. You transcend the subject matter in that you teach us how to think, not what to think. These videos are actually making me a pretty good cook. Thanks! Any tips on how to cook with cast iron without sticking?
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed learning some egg hacks from my video. Eggs are versatile and can be used in so many ways in the kitchen. If you have any other questions or need further cooking tips, feel free to ask. Happy cooking!

Great tips, thanks. I loved the pinprick one, the tape one and the bread fingers one. I have a favorite thing that I do sometimes- frying /poaching at the same time in loads of butter and hardly any water… delicious! 😊

If you put the eggs in a pot of water, bring them to a rolling boil and cover and take them off the heat for 5-10 minutes and they come great. And no grey ring around the yolk.
Thank you for sharing your tip! The method you mentioned is commonly known as the "boiled eggs" or "hard-boiled eggs" method. It involves boiling eggs in water and then letting them sit in hot water off the heat for a certain amount of time to achieve the desired level of doneness. This method can result in perfectly cooked eggs with a firm white and a yolk that is cooked to your preference without any grey ring around it. It's a great alternative to other methods of cooking eggs and can be a popular way to prepare eggs for various recipes or for standalone consumption. Thanks for adding to the conversation! Let me know if you have any other tips or comments.
Great ideas that will make cooking easier and efficient. I have a tip for you-save egg shells. Rinse them, put them in microwave for 20 seconds to prevent salmonella. Once they are completely dry, I crush them in blender. Keep lid on blender closed till calcium dust settles-you don’t want it in your lungs. Sprinkle on plants 🌱 for a beautiful 🪴. ☺️🌷
You're welcome! I'm glad you're excited and looking forward to trying out the ideas. Cooking can be a fun and enjoyable activity, so I hope you have a blast experimenting with the recipes. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Happy cooking!
