How amazing! You have such great tips. I just loved how you made the little 'box' from baking paper and used it to fry something. I also really liked how you glued the top part of a plastic bottle onto the sponge. That was genius! Thanks. You are a clever man.

I always keep a box of lemons in my fridge just for cleaning since I am allergic to so many chemicals. This video gave me more new ideas for cleaning using my lemons. But... don't throw those leftover pieces away! When finished, simply freeze them and use them frozen to clean and freshen your garbage disposal!!! 😉
I LOVE your recipes! I learned to cook nearly 55 years ago with a professional chef (my grandfather) but there were no air fryers then. Even your little hacks (opening a can with a spoon, using peeler to thinly slice hard butter etc,) are teaching me new techniques. I'll keep watching so long as you keep going! All the best from a sunny (today) Yorkshire UK!
I stumbled on his video hacks lastnight and i watch couple and tonight, 17/8/24, i am watching again and each hack we do it everyday. Thank you for sharing these life hacks, all practically useful

I just experimented with the butter in the garlic press hack. Of course, it works perfectly. But, get this, I DID NOT rinse out the press afterward. Instead, I pressed a few cloves of garlic. It turns out the buttered walls released the garlic and I wound up pressing the entire clove, instead of leaving parts of it stuck to the walls of the press. Try it. It works! PEACE

Absolutely brilliant!! Thanks so much! I just tried making a slit in a clove of garlic, and the skin came off so easily. Definitely going to try the hack with putting a whole bunch of garlic in a jar and shaking it 😁
It’s a lot easier to drain a can of food that has a tabbed lid, by just opening the lid slightly, and using the lid slightly closed to pour out all the liquid. The lid become the food blocker
@@tamicarter1280common sense would tell you that sometimes you accidentally take the can lid all the way off, and there is a solution, without putting the sharp lid back on to drain. 😊
Great tips. Another great tip for removing foul odors from you fridge is to take each page from a new paper and lightly ball them up and fill your fridge with the balls of paper. It absorbs the odor very well. Barbecue briquettes work as well
Here's a hack I found for keeping the bottom (outsides) of my pans spotless and it's worked for me for decades: Clean the stove after cooking so it's clean before the next meal. Clean the bottom of your pans easily after cooking. Between these two, your pans never get dirty on the outside. I only cook on the inside of my pans so they never look like the one in the first hack.
I pray you guys are safe and well. God bless you in all things. Love these videos with amazing hacks and I look forward to the day you can get back to cooking! Stay safe!
Many of these hacks are so magical; the shocking one was 4:38 using parchment paper to fry with less oil 😮; 8:53 for sealing long neck bottle top without cork was an unusual/different solution just like using balloon to replace a cap.
I tossed my iron out decades ago, I seal my packets with paper clips from the office. You know, the big ones. I even use them in the freezer, they don't rust for about ten years.
I reseal all of my cereal, chip, etc bags with the Food Saver. When I worked in a restaurant many years ago we cleaned the burnt on coffee carafe with salt and ice.Just slosh it around and it comes right off.
When needing pàrchment paper for round cake pans, i simply fold the parchment into four, place the cake tin on the top and with a pencil draw around it, then cut around the pencil line, this gives you four circles , which leaves spares, for next time you need to bake.

You can save your coffee for drinking. Simply put a small layer of water in the bottom of the pan. Set the pan on the stove burner & turn on a low flame. Put the lit or aluminum foil to cover the pan. Let water simmer a few minutes. Use a plastic coated spatula to loosen any burnt spots on the inside bottom of the pan. Wash grease off with soapy water. And, you're finished.
This works using grounds from the morning brew. Just tried it stainless steel pot is like new. Skillet was cold and I add about a table spoon of water let sit maybe 5 min before rinsing
