Scanning photos on an Epson Scanner. Settings to get a good scan to archive and restore your images

When you are scanning pictures, documents, newspaper articles, etc you want to get the best image quality. Here are the basic settings for scanning prints. Epson V600, Epson V800, Epson V850

Thanks for your videos. I've been using the V600 scanner for about 12 years and I've never found a decent tutorial on using it. I've scanned hundreds of photos and negatives, and have had to learn by trial and many errors. Your video are very informative; I agree with your explanation of the settings, some are valuable while others are worthless. I look forward to more videos from you.

I have been using too much resolution for small photos and this has shown me my errors. This is a great video and highly informative.
