Good tutorial on how to replace the accelerator sensor. Tip: It's highly recommended to buy OEM electrical parts as those aftermarket ones are prone to fitment and electrical problems. You often will end buying it twice.

How does the sensor plug come off.? Mine is locked in I don't want to force the plug off. Is there a locking thing that keeps the plug from falling off...?
Where you getting slight hesitation for symptyms for this bad sensor? I have a slight hesitation but I can rev past 4K, but have slight hesitation when taking off from a still.
Today it happened to me that the car pedaled fully and it does not go over 1,500 revolutions and it responds strongly but it returns at 1,500 revolutions
Hype Stonie For sure then. Get it to a shop with a smoke machine to find the leak. Its fucking up your Fuel Trim etc running/driving like that. I had similar issue (among many, today just got the news my trans needs to be replaced), anyways.. my intake manifold gasket under the plenum was blown, huge leak causing high idle. Get it checked out before more issues. Theyll keep coming and cluster up lol.
Tom Kaos [Official] hey i have a question. I went to get smog but not the right way and the guy downloaded my computer into a laptop and took out my high rpm and my obd bulb to pass smog . Check engine went away and was driving home from la and car won’t accelerate and couldn’t hit the brakes or put car in park got it to park but car won’t start it turns and everything but won’t go I have a video is there a way I can send it to you
Hype Stonie So you had someone clear the codes? Thats not a fix man lol. Whatever issues are going on are still there and the ecu etc still sees that and is running the Monitors to check for those issues... in which im pretty sure you need to Drive to have them come up again. I cant really tell you what the issue would be with just a video. Id get it towed to shop dude. Shit will just get worse. Next time only clear the SES if you read it and KNOW its not a serious issue.. like a evap code. Otherwise youre just hurting yourself.
this video is a fraud at 9:38 when he huffed and puffed the trac and slip light came back on thats why when he hit the pedal he second time it did not rev up like the first
Hi do you know if the 2008 G35x has a throttle position sensor? Or is it all come with the throttle? Or is it in the pedal like your car? My car has been idling at 900-1200 and throws p0507. Tried the reset the throttle manually like 15 times and no luck.
@@pbj315 I took mine to a tuner here in Northern California and he updated the ecu I guess it’s a common issues with the 2008 g35’s. I suggest you do the same if yours is a 2008 you can also take it to a dealership

Nice, this is the only video that actually shows removing this style TPS! THX
What is the little green plastic piece at the top of the assembly? Mine broke and now my car is broke
It's a stopper. You can replace it with some 10 mm bolt, washer and nut.
I believe you're supposed to calibrate the sensor after installing.
You do, it’s an easy procedure
How do you do it ?

It is actually called the accelerator pedal position sensor. This sensor sends a signal to the throttle position sensor.

Was your throttle response accurate after replacing?
My throttle didn’t respond at all
Do you know why?
I would definitely not use those ebay sensors for this part atleast. They often send wrong voltage causing even more problems.

I'm getting throttle position sensor code and cam an crank shaft position sensor codes in an 08 get sedan!
