I just bought a PSVR 2 after years of playing my PSVR. Looking forward to the PC adapter. That being said, Wipeout VR on PSVR is still in the top 5 best VR games ever made. It's so much fun and the immersion is crazy. We need more AAA titles! I'm really tired of these little cute games.
That's funny. I just bought a PSVR after owning the PS VR2 ( my first VR headset) since launch. I'm having an absolute blast with Astrobot. Honestly enjoying this game more so than anything that I played on the PS VR2 thus far. Will be checking out Wipeout and RE7 next. I can't believe I totally skipped over the OG PSVR. Better late than never I guess.
Thanks for mentioning Snow Scout, Bryan! In the meantime, we failed our 1st pass of QA, but that was to be expected - still, it went much better than our first attempt with Rainbow Reactor: Fusion half a year ago 😸 We're almost done fixing every issue that was found, so the next pass is bound to begin soon!
I like the fact that in Tier One, they are putting a mechanic to drag your partner to safety. It's one of the most critical things you learn in real-life combat situations. You'll really need to communicate with your squade when you attempt because you need the others to lay down suppressing fire, or you'll be the one hit next. Thank goodness I never had to as the first Iraq war my group was support for a Patriot Missel System in Saudi Arabia, but heard horror stories from friends that served in the 2nd Iraq War.
Hey there. Thanks for your last video of the summer sale. I wouldn’t have known about the PSVR2 sale without you. I love it!!! I hated the first one but this is awesome! So glad to have it and can’t wait to play some more games on it! Thanks again!
It may be just me but the idea of “working” in a VR game, whether in an arcade or snow slope etc, is not my idea of fun. It’s one thing to be able to do something in VR, it’s another to do something fun in VR. Hoping for fun 😊
I bought it after the update and the graphics are pretty good now. Never really took to it gameplay-wise myself, but if you enjoyed the flat screen version (although I never played it) I imagine you might like the VR version as well.
I've been thinking the same thing. I don't think it'll offer the same sort of narrative experience, but the unsettling surrealism seems similar. Looks very cool.
The only way forward for PSVR2 now is to lower the price of entry (even if temporarily) and let the 3rd party party developers bolster the lineup of titles with the increased uptake of installed user base. Sony have to play the long game on this if they still want to keep PSVR2 up and running in their console ecosystem.
Will the psvr2 only work with steam vr games, or will it work with, say... the oculus rift (meta, whatever) pc game library. I mostly ask bc I wanna play Stormland again. But also if psvr2 can play ocul- .. meta .. games, that would be kinda humorous.
Don't forget to get a solid Bluetooth as well!!! IMPORTANT no body is talking about this but regular Bluetooth is not good enough for controller tracking it will run but will have tracking issues
@@zmmmzmmmz They're talking about using PSVR 2 on PC with the adapter. You also need a Bluetooth adapter to use the controllers, and there are requirements (I think it has to be BT 4.0 or 4.1?)
I would love to buy The Utility Room when releases, but as of now is not even present in the store in europe! Anyone knows why? Is it region locked? :'(
The developers have had it on their roadmap as TBD (to be determined) for a long time. They just hit version 1.0 on PC, and they're upgrading the Quest version now. After that it might happen, but nothing definitive yet.
I ordered it while it was $200 off, only down side is its back ordered on amazon 3-4 weeks until I get it. I hit f5 on the order status page every couple hours. Why do I do this to myself.
I have Arcade Paradise on disc. I'm guessing there is no way to do the upgrade that way. I wonder if they will count DLC because I've bought all that. Would be nice if that carries over. Anyway so I might as well buy it at full price because buying the digital one and then paying the upgrade is the same thing essentially. But... if I bought it digitally I'd never have to get the disc out again... dammit I have bought this game on every platform. edit I am working too much and completely losing my mind. I apparently did but it digital on PS5 and I remember now I bought it on sale because I forgot I had the disc already. WTF is wrong with me.
Damn that was a ride lol. To my knowledge, the VR version has no DLC and all the games are included. Don't quote me on that lol but I think it's accurate
@@WithoutParole Oh it gets better. Turns out I bought the PS4 disc and did the PS5 upgrade. I've been working two full time jobs for 3 solid years and I am just toast. Luckily job 2 ends this December.
Where did you hear about arcade paradise if you buy flat version its only 10. And im guessing if i buy it now on sale for like 8.99 that would probably not be much cheaper than buying it for 20 but i would have the flat version with it. Doubt ill ever play flat but i guess if it equals out to basically being free i will take it. Im def planning on buying day one anyway
The publisher Wired Productions posted about it on Twitter. As you said, it ends up being the same price but it's a good deal for people who want both versions :D
@@jreal5 there's no DLC currently for the VR version. I'm playing through now and it seems like most (if not all) of the DLC from the flatscreen version is included with the VR game. Don't quote me on that though, I'm only a few hours in :D
I have an AMD Ryzen 9 (with 32gb's of DDR5) with a Radeon 6900HX. My processor seems more than up to the job, but I'm unsure about my GPU. Anyone have any experience with an Integrated Radeon card, and VR, that can chime in?
With integrated graphics you're going to have a bad time. You need mid-4000 series (not integrated) for full performance for a lot of PC VR due to the importance of high fps for motion smoothness
the 6900HX has an integrated Radeon 680m. I don't expect you will be able to run anything but simple looking games at low settings to get 2 screens and a high frame rate to prevent disorientation. MAYBE, maybe... if you set everything to low/off and set the resolution as low as possible (talking 360p resolutions), you can comfortably run some popular stuff...but don't expect to to work.
They gotta get the voice recognition working in pneumata eventually, I'll be waiting for that before I buy it. Voice recognition in Waltz of the Wizard was one of the most immersive things ive ever done, really cool
If alien rogue incursion isnt a rogue lite Id say its a delightfully misleading name as we have far too many rogue lits and need more campaigns. Id also say its not even really misleading, theres lots of games that have rogue in the title that are not rogue lite and few if any rogue lite games actually have rogue in the title.
That trailer for Bocce Ball is *still* the most obnoxious, migraine-inducing piece of video footage ever shown, lol. I've no idea whether the game is any good, but the marketing is truly awful! 😂

The Utility Room looks so intriguing!
If there is a PSVR2 version of The Mortuary Assistant, I will buy immediately.
Please update your review for Bulletstorm! I wanna know if it's worth buying now
People on the PSVR subreddit say it's still bad. I've heard it's better than launch, but just not a very fun game unfortunately.

It's not
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for Light No Fire on PSVR2, it would be incredible if the game supported it at launch.
I'm legitimately hyped for Utility Room. Hopefully it's as intriguing as the trailer suggests.

Think most normal peoples greatest request is for Sony to support the headset on the platform we brought it for
Mine would have been backwards compatibility - but I guess that goes along with "sony support" as you said! :D

Why dont they just bring the steam app to the PlayStation store for us who dont own a Pc🤔
it would’ve been so much better and easier lol but Sony need the sales from their adapter smfh
Because the games don't run on PS5....they run on Windows
it is not a matter of bringing the APP, the games themselves need to be ported to PS5 architecture or emulated
