Ordered my PSVR2 yesterday. Been holding out, as I’ve had a baby within the last year, but the days of play Netflix premium deal convinced the missus now was the time to pull the trigger lol
You will love it !!!! Resident evil 4 is the game you need to play !!!! Also you will probably get motion sickness is normal you will adjust to it little by little
Indeed Congratulations on both the Baby and getting PSVR2. As a father of 3 kids I know personal time is often short, but spending it on PSVR2 makes up for it. Enjoy 👍😻
Res 4, Res 8, cotm, synapse, madison, redmatters, crossfire, kayak mirage, saints and sinners and gt7 are worth the asking price of psvr2. Best gaming experiences I have ever had and I still go back to them all.
I disagree, maybe when it first came out that was true, but definitely not now. I haven't bought a new PSVR2 game in months, because none of the new games are good. A lot of the shooter games are just boring FPS shooters with boring gun mechanics. Whenever there is a game with good gun mechanics, it just turns out to be a boring zombie shooter like all the others. Pavlov is still probably the best VR shooter game on PSVR2 at the moment. Even then, it is getting boring since the devs don't put out any updates that leave the game constantly feeling new for PSVR2 players. So in short, I would definitely say that it is quite the opposite. PSVR2 is losing momentum in my humble opinion. Seeing that most of the popular games now were still popular games when the PSVR2 released a year and a half ago. Meanwhile all the new games that come out are either mediocre, or by some slim chance they turn out to be hits (Which isn't the case for most of them).
Damn right to put Gran Turismo 7 at the top! What i love about the game is that it truly feels like the gold standard for AAA budget games on VR. It is not just an experience or short fun game. GT 7 can easily be the only game someone ever plays on PSVR 2. Such a therapeutic game.

GT7 no surprise to me. No other VR experiences/games would give this level of immersion! Then add to that the layers it's car game then customizations. Masterpiece.
I'm not much of a horror fan either, but I played RE8, got it for $20, and I'm so glad I did. The first half of the game is the scariest, but after that it's not bad. And RE4 isn't even scary, just another great game.

Currently playing Genotype and it deserves a spot in the top 25! It's a great mix of Red Matter/Hubris with some really interesting mechanics and exploration. I love it
Just got into vr last year with the psvr1. Even though i still have 20+ games on that to get around to, i couldnt pass up the days of play sale. I'll stick to the premium games while eliminating the backlog, but there's so many amazing games to play.
Nice list. I really hope they do something with Astro Bot on the VR2. Also, of my favorite games on VR is definitely Pistol Whip, AB Rescue Mission, Blood and Truth, Kayak Mirage and PlayStation Worlds (just for the shark cage experience) I've had a lot of other experiences but those I think should top my list.
I originally bought the PSVR2 for GT7, buuuut, I bought this game on sale called No Man's Sky and suddenly everybody just wants me to shut the hell up about my insane space travels. 😊
Still a bit frustrated Gran Turismo 7 *still* uses the custom UI made for the offline-only VR mode in GT Sport. We race in an online league every week & the missing data exclusive to anyone in VR is so inescapably detrimental for *everyone* in any race (i.e., not just to the VR players) & so remarkably easy to fix, it's a bit mind-boggling even years after the game's VR mode was introduced. 🤷🤷♂🤷♀ I still adore it, though, make no mistake (& Without Parole). ❤
I watched the debate, but I was really waiting for this video with gameplay footage. Just finished playing Synth Riders for the first time. Is the PS5 version automatically the Remastered version? It doesn’t say that it is.
As a 45 year old longtime gamer who spent most his life having never been a car guy, GT7 and the PSVR2 changed all of that. Easily the best VR game I have ever played and I have done most of my gaming in VR for about 5 years now. One accessory I highly recommend for the experience that is not talked about enough is a Haptic Vest. PSVR2 and the Woojer Vest 3 are the massive upgrades I needed for me to finally open up to Sim Racing and cars in general.
Couldn't agree more with Gt7 definitely my most played VR2 game it's just a perfect fit. Hopefully we'll see more driving games in the future of psvr2. Imagine a burnout type game holy shit 😵

Thanks for putting together this list. I just finished RE 8 and am about to start Saints and Sinners. Do you recommend No Man's Sky or Madison VR next?
Would be good to start NMS while the current expedition is going (think there are 5 more weeks or so) and it’s a good game to pick up and play between games. Madison is awesome. So… both!
Awesome work people. It's great you've done this so we've got something to show others what's available on psvr2. Psvr2 has been my most favourite purchase of all time because of the community that comes with it.❤

Nice video! 3rd person comment on RE4 was a bit odd, it's first person! lol. But 3rd person totally does work in VR. I wish RE4 would have a 3rd person option. It's a different feeling, more relaxing and a different perspective on environments.
@@PSVRUNDERGROUND yea I getcha, and that's a good point too for sure. both of those things aren't well understood (that 3rd person can work in VR converted to 1st person, and that 3rd person can work in VR as 3rd person). would love to see more of both! I modded 3rd person diorama view into NMS VR and it was so relaxing to play. I want an official version!
Love this list may have cut in some of the Honorable mention personally if I made my own list but with those mentions this is 100% spot on for games everyone who owns the headset should be playing.
Twas a great show doing the selections. Thanks to all involved who put this together. What an awesome list of games for a peripheral that purportedly has no games.
This is actually a top 28 list with the Moss, S&S, and Red Matter groupings...I own 13 of the 28, but have only beaten 5 of those. P.S. - you should probably also group both RE games together going forward to make room for one more game.
I have to admit it's a bit of a tragedy Pistol Whipped missing out but I understand. The catalogue is getting so big it maybe worth doing a top 50 in future.😊
Great list fellas. Well done indeed. I just got my psvr2 about a week ago and have been having a blast with GT7 and RE8. Surely I'm not the only one who is really bummed out that we dont have any fishing games on VR2 yet. I have had the OG psvr for years now and loved both Catch and Release and Monsters Of The Deep. I seriously hope we will at least get a VR2 upgrade of Catch and Release. Do you all know of any fishing games that are being developed?
Thank you so much for making this, I really loved watching it! I was wondering why neither of the Help Wanted games made the list, or even honorable mentions? I remember you all speaking quite highly of it before. What changed your mind since then?
Since you’re putting puzzle games on the list, you’re missing out if you haven’t played the remake of the classic PC game 7th Guest. It’s a beautiful, moody puzzler.
How is this list determined? I ask because I compared it to the individual Top 25 you guys made and am trying to figure out how Galaxy Kart (and others) made it while they weren't on the Top 25 individual list.
Brought the psvr2 last week , still enjoying it as well as the kids. Looking at more games to get after a week of playing demos and pavlov. ( dual wielding lmgs and barret 50cals in the gun range fkn sick )
Your editing skills are next level, bro! No other VR content creator even comes close. Did you see @PSVRcade gave you/Galaxy Kart a pretty sweet shout on his $ale vid 5 days ago. He mentions your channel at least 1 more time but I got board and didn't finish it so maybe more!🎉
I started making 2 lists; one for flat PS5, and one for PSVR2, and there are more than 2x as many games I want to play that are VR. It might be console games that are currently "dead"
I agree with #1, but can you do a video about the top 10 games for PSVR #1 that they should upgrade to work on PSVR #2. My #1 choice is Skyrim. My #2 choice is Star Trek Bridge Crew
Zero games, PSVR2 is dead, just stop already! Fyi - logged over 300 hours combined in GT7, RE8/4, Legendary Tales, Walkabout Minigolf and No Man's Sky. Yah, dead as a door nail...psh
I would have been shocked if GT7 wasn't number 1. This game is mind boggling in VR, it's amazing without it but VR is so immersive that it feels real especially on a wheel and pedals
Just amazing quality video! Imagine IGN putting out a video about VR games ... Yeah Bryan I know you love your independence, but if you freelanced for someone like IGN there would be ALOT more VR gamers out there !
Psvr2 is great, I can't play gt7 on flatscreen anymore. The only thing I think they need to figure out, while being super hard to get right, is motion blur. I think it would help alot with motion sickness since real life has motion blur. Still great, and I'm not sure how they could do it to get it right, but it would help things look better if someone figured it out.
They still haven’t patched vertigo2 It’s almost unplayable for me with the frame rate. Looking forward to hopping back in once they fix this major issue.

My vr2 is arriving on wednesday! I cant wait. Already had re4 and gran turismo and bought Pavlov and Beat Saber.
Fishy McFishy butt
Thank you so much for making this, I really loved watching it! I was wondering why neither of the Help Wanted games made the list, or even honorable mentions? I remember you all speaking quite highly of it before. What changed your mind since then?
Short answer? There’s so many games! 😊

Gotta give some love to the Star War games. Those are so fun/satisfying in VR.
Agreed! I actually had more fun with Tales from the Galaxy's Edge than I did with Call of the Mountain :D
Mod Nation was the jam
Another man of culture I see.
Brought the psvr2 last week , still enjoying it as well as the kids. Looking at more games to get after a week of playing demos and pavlov. ( dual wielding lmgs and barret 50cals in the gun range fkn sick )
Yes! Ty parole board!
*[meows&swipes]*
Your editing skills are next level, bro! No other VR content creator even comes close. Did you see @PSVRcade gave you/Galaxy Kart a pretty sweet shout on his $ale vid 5 days ago. He mentions your channel at least 1 more time but I got board and didn't finish it so maybe more!🎉
What's better res4 or village graphics wise. I'm playing village at the moment.
They're almost identical I would say.
Great list! I wasn't aware of Runner, I'll need to check this one out! What a solid list of top 25.
Runner, eh?! I will have to check it out!
$15 it’s basically already on sale 😂 enjoy dude it ROCKS
Excellent video. Love you work
Arizona Sunshine 2 didn't make the list? The horde mode is pretty fun with a full group of 4.
Seriously, is there any way of playing resident evil 7 on the vr2, not necessarily with the vr pads but with the dual shock 4
Timestamps would be amazing! Otherwise, thank you so much for the channel and for all your efforts! My go to for psvr2 info!
Love my PSVR2 it´s so easy to start up games and I don´t need any satellites one minute and I´m in the game.
bought a VR last week, got Drive Club (VR) recently , Wipeout: Omega Collection and Gran Turismo 7 are on the way!
Did you buy a PSVR1 or PSVR2? Because you got a mix of games there
@@WithoutParole PSVR1 CUH-ZVR2
Awesome, you've got a ton of great games to get caught up on. Just know that GT7 isn't PSVR1 compatible. It's PS5/PSVR2 only. Otherwise have fun! :D
@ I found out the hard way during my livestream last night🥲, still looks great, regardless. Skyrim VR + Mods is gonna go hard!!!
Ur an average quest fan boy it isn't dead dude
@@MohammadAwamleh-gh8ki I was being cheeky, I LOVE MY PSVR2! Yes, it is very much alive and well.
@@ericksmith5948 oh ok
Legendary tales recommend?
Please make a list over the best games with teleport walk for us that don’t have their VR legs 🙏
I have enjoyed Synth Riders, I find it better than Beat Saber and cheaper as well.
Same
Own all these and no doubt they are all amazing but I still find myself playing Firewall Ultra the most.
I thought Ultra was dead. Glad to hear it has an active community
@@erics489definitely does. Tough too, no toddlers running around.
The Room VR is great too
I'm surprised to not see dead hook. It's like doom and Spider-Man had a VR - baby
If you've played these games on PSVR2, you'd have to go through electro-shock therapy to believe it's dying.
COTM not being top ten is ridiculous. Top five here is pretty much spot on though.
I played GT7 on last night,my first game on PSVR2. I was extremely underwhelmed with the graphics, it was like playing in 240p.
2:38 When did Richard Ayoade join the team??
Puzzling places looks cool. I just downloaded the trial.
Dude I love this list!
They still haven’t patched vertigo2 It’s almost unplayable for me with the frame rate. Looking forward to hopping back in once they fix this major issue.
Masternoid highly slept on and it has free demo
