Great review Drake! The range for this EV is pretty great and it is so well equipped even as a base level car. The look reminds me a lot of a VW bug which is a good thing. Hope that you are doing great!

A few things: A. this is not an economy car. B. It is not priced like one, C. It performance is not like one. The I6 competes with the Model 3 and Polestar 2. Neither of those vehicles classify as economy cars. I am willing to bet you got your performance numbers from Hyundai and did not test the 0-60 time yourself. The RWD version hits 60 in about 6 seconds while the AWD does it in 4.4 according to Motortrend and Car & Driver. Those times are right inline with the competitors. Again, economy cars don't start with performance in the low 6 seconds.
It's looks are also more upscale, as it does not look even inexpensive regardless of how you feel about the look.
I came from a 2020 model 3 and I feel the Ioniq outperforms it in handling. The model 3 I had felt too arcade like in its handling when going around corners. For myself the Ioniq 6 is a clear winer over the prior gen model 3. It offers more, drives better, has better build quality, and looks better. The new highland model 3 I cannot speak to because I have not driven one. i still say look wise the Ioniq looks better which is obviously subjective. I am also not convinced Tesla's build quality has caught up yet. I am not sure if the ride quality improved. The Tesla does come in at a more attractive price with pretty much all features included.
