Decluttering & Emotional Moving Journey (Plus A Huge Heartfelt Thank You for Your Support!)

- This week's vlog takes us back to the past few weeks, filled with full-on organising and lots of emotions! But first and foremost, I want to extend my most heartfelt thanks to all of you for your overwhelming support on the previous vlog.
Your messages, kindness, and encouragement have meant the world to Simon and me. Reading your words brought tears to my eyes and they have all truly touched my heart.
In this vlog, we delve into the start of the decluttering process. The new kitchen order hit a snag, and we will be moving in without it being completed - but patience is key, and I'm taking each challenge as it comes! On the organisation front, I had two wonderful ladies helping me blitz the attic, where we discovered all sorts of forgotten treasures. I also enjoyed a birthday treat in Salisbury with Ebo Beauty, so needed and incredibly pampering!
The moving process is in full swing, with a man and his van arriving to help us move items over, which was a bit daunting to say the least, but progress was made! We've tackled various rooms and organised so much of the chaos - the emotional aspect of sorting through old memories was challenging, but having help from Sophie and Leila made a significant difference.

I so rarely comment on videos but just needed to come on and say how comforting I’ve found your past 2 vlogs. I’m definitely a bit younger than your usual audience but honestly seeing you navigate this move with such grace is so unbelievably admirable and brave. And there are so many moments here that I know so many will relate to.
Really shocked to come into the comments and see people asserting their unwarranted (and somewhat narrow minded) opinions, please do ignore them because it’s so clear that your intentions around this move are coming from the deepest love for your family more than anything else.

I used a moving app which was great, I numbered the boxes in the app you list the contents and also put on which room it belongs in the new property. When it goes to the new house you mark it as in transport or arrived it helps to keep track of everything plus the moving company are not aware what is in each box. Anything precious take in your own car at the end. Another thing I did was put a small coloured sticker on each box and pieces of furniture, then put a large coloured sticker on each door in the new property which corresponds to the boxes and furniture this helps the moving company know without asking, which room furniture and boxes go to. Aww Gus, I hope he’s feeling a bit happier, I really felt for him. It’s true we are only as happy as our most miserable child! I also have 3 so often having to help navigate young trauma. I hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing break away x

Your facial was fantastic just think it would be great for my daughter as she suffers with the worst hay fever, ear and nasal blockage as of course all related. Salisbury is. Bit of a trek for us but may be worth it. It is a very exciting time as well as emotional. As my grandmother would say as I e door closes another one opens and have to say when things have been tough I er the years her words have always come back to me to remind myself things will happen and often are better. We aren’t using a removal company we are doing the move ourselves we have lived here for 17 years so yes a few extra pairs of hands are needed!
I know plenty of people who get packers and organisers in. Life is busy! Each to their own.
I really feel for you Charlie, I've had my own financial struggles in the past so I know what's it's like to be in your situation. However, I just don't understand what's happening, you are selling your house to move in to rented accommodation while at the same time you have a cleaning lady, a brand new top of the range Range Rover, go on multiple holidays, horses out the back, enough clothes to open your own clothes shop and you are paying for an Aga & a kitchen in a house you don't even own! Please don't think I'm judging you because I'm not but none of it makes any sense to me.....

@@nathalielemley8373 i think that's very unfair. During my own difficulties I had cut everything to the bone, social life, holidays, absolutely everything. It must be heartbreaking for Charlie & her family to find themselves in this situation & watching it brings back many sad memories for me but anyone with a basic understanding of mathematics can see this is not adding up at all.
