    My friend and I met Marky in Cleveland at Peabodys maybe 18 years ago. We were there to enter a battle of the bands, and Marky and one of the guys in the Misfits (I wasn't very familiar with them in high school) were hanging out there at that moment. They invited us to hang out in the musician lounge upstairs while we were waiting, we all talked for a bit and they were cool as fuck! Couldn't have been nicer.

      It's true, she did. Imagine being gender-variant in Georgia in the early 60's! When I bought my 1st Electric Chairs E.P. in 1978, a 4-song, 7", 45 r.p.m., U.K. import, "Blatantly Offenzive": "F*** Off," "Night Time," "Toilet Love" & "Mean Mutha F***in' Man," they were still Wayne County & the Electric Chairs. By 1979, they were Jayne County etc. Their 1996 autobiography, "Man Enough to be a Woman," backs Marky's apt quote up. When I got the E.P. I included the songs at the end of a mix tape, but forgot to release the record button on the boom box. My roomy's turntable wobbled, causing the E.P. to skip, & as I recorded "Toilet Love" last, the tape ends w/a toilet flushing over & over again (until I run in & hit stop record). For yrs after, any time I'd hear that song elsewhere, I'd subconsciously expect it to end w/a warbling flush loop. LoL.

      You obviously know nothing about either coke or Prozac. Cocaine is a very potent, highly addictive stimulant. Prozac is a widely prescribed anti depressant that gives off no high whatsoever. Not even remotely similar. Saying Prozac is more harmful than cocaine shows your lack of knowledge on the topic.

    Okay; I enjoy this channel - and I love the Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction series. Great stuff. But for such a polished studio setting from a big company like yours; I ask why the editing on audio can be so incomplete?
    I am a fan. But I love watching these at night when I'm alone. And that may be my choice. But I know some of these subs use headphones. All of the intro and outro tracks are at least 6-10 slots LOUDER in volume than the interview itself. So I find myself turning the volume up and down not to wake my neighbors; but then I can't hear the actual interview. Lol. This is normal for a low budget channel. But, c'mon guys - You guys have a good team. I know this. You guys interview musicians and producers: Who work WITH THIS KIND OF THING for a living.
    I'm not mad; and I know it's "LOUDWIRE" after all, lol. You got the "Loud" part down. But damn; maybe make the interview itself the same consistent volume? Our eardrums and volume buttons will thank you.

    I remember listening to that on air fight on RUclips actually, it was just your normal Howard Stern bullshit where he likes to start things between band mates (well ex band mates at that time). I cant remember exactly how things started but i remember Joey calling Marky a drunk and then things escalated from there.

    Johnny says on his book "Commando" that Dee Dee didn't play bass on "Animal Boy", "Halfway To Sanity" and "Brain Drain". Andy Shernoff says on Monte's book "On The Road With The Ramones" that he played bass on the songs Joey wrote. I like better to believe them than Marky's stories.

    loved the band....sad that neither joey, dee dee and Johnny cannot add their perspective to Markys comments.
    Either way...learned some new things.
    Should have followed up with the question...:"why didnt Johnny and Joey speak for decades?"

    • @ikesweat6037
      @ikesweat6037 9 лет назад +11

      darksorcerermusic Johnny stole Joey's old lady (...girlfriend not mom). :::)϶
      Well; maybe "stole" is a strong word but he banged her then later on they got married, and from what I understand Joey snapped and one night he pissed inside Johnny's favorite guitar case (allegedly---they didn't have DNA testing back then so... it's all speculation).
      I love Joey AND Johnny so I'm neutral on this---just reporting the unbiased facts____ but no he totally banged the shit out of her____ she was hot too, so I imagine they did it doggie style quite a bit==I mean I would have==but wait.... don't quote me on that part. That was off the record/so__yeah___just edit that out
