I’ve brought Asus for a while and I haven’t had any complaints. Just cause you hear horror stories online doesn’t mean it’s all bad for the millions of buyers
@@josephle2381 You really don't sound like you understand what has been going on over there. They're fraudsters and have been wilfully and knowingly engaging in defrauding their customers outright. If you pay to support that kind of MAFIA behaviour, then you sir are part of the problem, you're directly funding the abuse.
Asus are firmly off my buy list, given what Gamers Nexus have exposed. No one in their right mind should be doing anything to give even a dime to ASUS. They're effectively cancelled.
Video editing didnt end well? Can you elaborate a bit more? else this sounds really bad, as a creator laptop not capable of video-editing... Slow scrubbing? Stuttering?
..I'm just waiting to find out whether the PZ13 has a config with either i9/R9 AND 4060/4070. Because as much as I love my 2022 Z13 and how it can still go, I don't really need the XG Mobile option.
I just wanna know if px13 is worth it, i’m going to study visual marketing where I need to video edit and use adobe apps. I also really wanna do light gaming… don’t tell me to buy Zephyrus cause HP Omen is cheaper and better but why do gaming laptops look like gaming laptops?😭 px13 is so sleek!
The PX13 starts at $1699 and includes a 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and a 6-month CapCut Pro membership. If you need a device immediately, consider other options, it will most likely come to you in July. However, the PX13 is compelling in terms of specifications for its size. It might be wise to wait for a full performance review before making a purchase decision.
Did you find this out? Wondering since it's really a good selling point if it has at least 100w USB C, or even 140w since it really adds to the compact/travel aspect of leaving the charging brick at home and just taking 1 multi-purpose 140w GaN charger.
Feigned obsolescence forces you to feel forced to get the beefier more powerful 16 since it has actual io and power. My one and only question is can you draw on them well and if not then gtfo 🤷🏾
Not even 140W? Meh. I will have to learn to live without the dial I guess. I doubt this RTX 4070 is going to get anything above 8GB of VRAM either, am I right? No numpad either. Really disappointed by this reveal! :/
Why need 140W if the CPU's dont need it? a high TDP can mean the cpu is power hungy and low performance, i rather have a cpu with low TDP and have same performance. imagine your CPU need 1000w to run at max speed... no thx
@Photonees My issue is the bottlenecks on the GPU. When I heard it was 115-120W, I knew my dreams for 12 gig cards were gone. I was at least hoping for a mobile RTX4080 at this point, similar to the G16. With limited clockspeed ofc, but at least a decent amount of VRAM, making a Revit+Enscape/Lumion or even UE5/Twinmotion set up somewhat useful, while still being a great graphic-design device. My options now are limited. I could get an ADA card or whatever the naming scheme is right now, but those are super slow outside of CAD applications. So the only thing I can do now if I want a decent GeForce with a good amount on VRAM on the go is getting a higher tier laptop. Zenbook Pro, for example, to stay in the ASUS eco-system. As far as I know, however, there's no 2024 model planned. And they are more cumbersome to travel with. Alternatively, I resist a year longer and cross my fingers for the 50XX series...
@@MacBamboocha I understand, in general there arent many 4080/4090 laptops, and when they are made, they are like 1K more expensive. I think for photo and video-editing, it will be great. Although he said video editing went bad on this "pre production" model...
@@Photonees that's not an excuse. If they really wanted to have color accurate screens, they can always ditch the touchscreen (which is a real problem in color calibration) also, OLED by itself achieves 99% Adobe RGB. That just sounds like a bad excuse xd
@@Pringle412 Keep in mind, this not a Proart STUDIOBOOK P16... just Proart P16. Could be they will release an intel Proart Studiobook P16 with a 4K 120hz when intel announces their new CPU's today and will be released in october for laptops
TOP as well. Its nust to make your think you need a new laptop when any dedicated gpu already has mire TOP rating however cou makers and microsoft will lock them out of co pilot function to encourage new PC sakes we are being scammed again Even I integrated graphics have Sime TOP
That's a lot of flex when you click in the chassis when you press the dial on the 13 at 4:08.
Noticed that too :/
Waiting for your review after you're allowed to do proper testing
I took a drink every time this guy said shenanigans and now I'm in the hospital.
Not recommended.😂
I'm so excited to see the full review of both laptops! 🎉 Many thanks for the efforts
After the Asus service fasco covered over at Gamers Nexus, I'm never buying anything Asus ever again.

@@josephle2381Exactly. There are way more complaints online in general as if your laptop is working fine, you wouldn't bother talking about it.

Anyone buying from ASUS is clearly unaware that they don't actually have a warranty.

Interesting! 4k OLED is the way to go if you are looking for a new laptop IMO, just wish it was higher refresh rate.

can they make soemthing like this for gaming aswell looks totally awesome
Zephyrus G14 and g16 look pretty decent tbh. Nice and slim.
Flow x13 has had like 3 or 4 generations already. It's been out for years.
Love you too Uncle Spurt
I've been eyeing this model since the old Zenbook was discontinued. But that wobbly screen and weak hinge look a bit concerning...
How do get your wallpapers
Finally something with these specs that doesn't look like I'm 12 and addicted to mountain dew and fortnite.
Really good laptops
Very informative, thank you! 🙏🏼
Could you please make a video while drawing with a stylus in ProArt P16 in Photoshop?
How much
You said they have thunderbolt ports but you said they gave AND chips. Is that accurate?
Probably USB 4 and not thunderbolt. But they're basically the same (USB4 is based on the TB3 spec)
Would gaming work well

The lack of a LAN-Port is a pitty.

Man, you really phoned this one in. You sounded bored AF reading back the details. You good?

I just downloaded that wallpaper.
From where pls
Is it plastic or metal? That sounds impossibly light given battery size, speaker count and cooling requirements of that cpu/ gpu combo
It's metal bonded with ceramic, I watched the live announcement
Who bought a px13 and can you live with fan noise?
Why you asking Copilot what Aardvarks are?
Great device✌️

Does it come with Stylus pen?
These would have been great laptops if not the glossy screens.
For the Px13 is the screen is a touch screen and can i use the stylus of the tablet ?
Yes, and it comes with a stylus per Asus's website.
Do these support Asus Pen?
I assume the RAM is soldered?
Yes
Can we connect egpu to this laptop?
