i have the Asus X13 flow .. i love it dont get me wrong and I'm thinking about getting a new lappy pretty soon but after all this Asus drama , I'm finding it very hard to buy a Asus any thing right now . Never had an issue with Asus before. Had a faulty WiFi card driver issue that caused two clients laptops to have slow WiFi, but when warranty could not help I just replaced the Realtek card with a spare Intel one.
This is every company that exists... And its not shoddy tech they're very much higher end but they like every other company treat you like garbage anyways. Samsung was caught purposely damaging tvs, msi I think was recently caught, gigabyte had one, hp and Dell along with Lenovo have terrible support it's not new.

I'm so glad now I have a Matebook 14 with an actual palmrest...

As a digital Illustrator and animator, It's honestly pretty difficult to find a good device strictly for drawing, and these series of devices miss the mark because of the MPP pen and refresh rate. The MPP pen needs to be charged and Wacom EMR pens completely outperform them. Refresh rate capped at 60hz is gonna be noticeable with pen delay. I can see these devices being absolutely perfect for other types of creatives but speaking strictly as an illustrator and animator, it's a miss.
@davidvang3926 If you want the full windows suite of programs, I recommend Samsung's line of Galaxy Book 360's, which are convertible laptops that use Wacom's EMR pen technology. It's the best pen experience out there which gives you the most accurate lines without wobble.
I got the Huion Kamvas pro 16 graphic tablet (one of the best mid-range graphic tablet from my experience) and it's only at 60hz but you don't notice any delay, and 2D animators never go above 24 frames per second if most of them use only 12 fps, so I don't see how refresh rate would be a problem. but yeah mpp pen sucks

I got the P16 maxed out. A bit overload for a college student with only essays. The only thing I do not like is the wheel. The software is still under cooked. It will sometimes crash the laptop and give me the blue screen. Other than that it is so great. The speakers are amazing. Like really really really loud while still keeping it clean. Oh, and the battery life is great. I usually turn off the 4070 and switch to the 890M ( I allocated 32 gb of ram to it lmao) while am on battery, and I can go a whole day just fine. Big ahh W.
I am to be honest never buying windows laptop again. Repairs and spares are hard to find outside of warranty. I am stuck with my Razer blade 2021 and it’s now a paperweight.
Hi Austin, I am hesitating between Zenbook S16 or this ProArt 13". The reason I am considering these twos were because it will be using AMD AI 300 Processor, and I can game on them and get my work done. However whatever has better battery life I would go for it, and it seems Zenbook S16 will win it over ProArt. The only downside is that it is 16 inch, and it will be bigger. What would you choose between the twos? My mind is going to Zenbook S16 at this moment, since 28W TDP with that performance is very attractive.

I really do like ASUS hardware. I have an ROG motherboard in my desktop and a Zenbook laptop, and they've worked great for me. But that does not excuse the fact that not only does their software absolutely suck, their current fiasco about their warranty coverage just being an absolute scam - they are most definitely NOT killing it right now. Unless by it you mean their reputation.
I'm really excited for this thing, because it's exactly what I want: a small, portable PC where I can competently game on if I want to, and do heavy work if I need to. I wanted to love the Flow X13 so bad, but it's too problematic and unreliable for me, hopefully this isn't like that given that it has more focus on work instead of play.
Bring a wireless logitech setup with you and when you put it in tent mode it'll be a "cheap" ROG Mothership. You should actually test if tent mode makes this thing run cooler i imagine it would.

Outside of poor customer support like ever company to exist the 13inch I think only goes to a 4060, the 4070 only exists in the 16 In model. At least from what I've found online and on asus website.
Their global site shows a 4070 the us a 4060, wonder why.

Ok that will cost you a new screen, new battery, new charger, might as well charge you for a new car too I mean why not, a new ssd and some new shoes for the ceo of Asus or they will dismantle it and send it back to you (felt left out of I didn’t add one a comment like this too 😂) honestly though it feels like promoting Asus products is not a good idea until/if they sort their shit out. Doesn’t matter to me how good of a product it is and in my experience they are well built products… I ain’t buying any anytime soon.
