Thanks Adrian. We had goped to get some more videos showing windvane in action but it failed and stopped working. We will cover this in a video. We got a replacement and fitting it next week.
Yes it works the best. Sometimes we don't set it up for short sails on the lough as there's so many islands to navigate around and we do like helming the boat too
Just come across this Series...binge watching excellent videos. In one of the earlier episodes you were concerned about mast compression. What was the outcome of that??
Hi Iain. Sorry about the very late reply. We don't always get notifications that someone has commented. Thanks for following along. We found that the mast had not compressed at all. The dipping on the deck seemed to come from damp wood in the core from water ingress. We replaces the wood and resealed the deck
The unanticipated shower for Kellie…😂😂…learn something new every time out!
That bloody sail bag I a water trap 😂. Poor Kellie. That cold shower really woke her up 😂
The joy of Irish sailing, being drowned by wet sail being hoisted. I shivered in sympathy with you Kellie
😂😂 Her poor bottoms and shoes were soaked
Great sail out guys. Was a very calm and relaxing one to watch👍
Thanks for the comment, we really appreciate it. It was definitely up there with one of out best sails yet. Wind coming from the best angle 👌
Cracking vid both, 👌 Great to see that there is still normality out there. Please keep up the great vids and look forward to seeing the next one. 😀
Thanks Sandy. We really appreciate it. Thanks for following along 👍
Can't wait to get back out sailing, hopefully in February get to start the season weather permitting.
Yes hopefully February brings lest storms and we hope to start the season early too 😁
I hate these cold 'sail showers'. Might see you in summer 2023 as I am planning to head north.
Well we may do. Hope to be heading from Wales to Baltimore in June as part of the Jester challenge
You were cracking along on the way back to your mooring 👍It looked like great sailing weather
It really was, even with a reef in. Love days like that
A nice video, I can't wait to get out in the spring on my first small sailing cabin cruiser.
Thanks Joe. Roll on the spring we can't wait to get back out either 👍
Great video guys. Id like to see a video of you using the wind vane etc....
Thanks Adrian. We had goped to get some more videos showing windvane in action but it failed and stopped working. We will cover this in a video. We got a replacement and fitting it next week.
Wish I had your editing skills , sailing solo makes it more difficult with filming too !
Thank you. We continue to try and improve out video and editing skills 👍
Another great video folks and some nice sailing ⛵️🙌🏼
Cheers Kenny. It was some day and skipper Kellie had us flying along
Nice video. I noticed you had the windvane onboard but didnt appear to use it. Is it ok?
Yes it works the best. Sometimes we don't set it up for short sails on the lough as there's so many islands to navigate around and we do like helming the boat too
@LittleBoatAdventures thanks. I was looking at getting one. Have fun!
@@stephenreardon2205 they are a great edition. 👍
