Thank you custom offsets. Great customer service.
Thank you for a very good do it yourself video custom offsets
Just did my 10f150 with some 285 tires rides good no rubs An it’s level ✅
I asked him a couple weeks ago about this for my 2010 f150, not only did he message me but he does a video on the exact setup I want. Thanks
Hey brother just a friendly tip, its way faster on these Ford's to mark and loosen the lower control arm and away bars and you can sneak it in and out. It'll keep you from having to take apart a ton of extra stuff. Great video bro!
Do you know if there any good videos that show the faster way you’re talking about?
@@josho.5244 Hey josh, I dont like promoting on other peoples channels but you asked directly. Anyways i just picked up a 2013 f150 4x4 bone stock and just received my parts, 2" leveling kit. I do offroad gaming videos normally but ill put up a video of me doing it to my personal truck if you wanna give me a few days or so to record it. Anyways subscribe so you dont miss it! ruclips.net/channel/UCPTkK_YQQ6u3_ok0WukSGog
you make it look so easy. thanks
love the new intro
from Milwaukee but live texas and trust I will bring my truck to you guys.
Love the new promo
good job .congratulations u just earned subscriber
Great job, important is to loose that nut in the tip of the axle, otherwise you cannot lowering enough the arm to put in the shock.
Likingthe new intro
Do you have to unplug the EPAS plugs before doing this? The instruction manual on my rough country level kit suggests too but i'm not sure whats the point. Thanks!
For these levels is it normal when you run the steering wheel all the way right or left it will compress the suspension and pull the front end down?
Nice...Love the install and how to vids especially the sh#ts I never knew !!!!
Hi I have a 2015 f150. I was planning on doing the bds 2.5" leveling kit with the havok H109 20x 10. Would I be able to run 35x12.5 with this setup? Is that possible with some trimming or is that out of the question?
if you run into an issue with the frontend getting too high while towing or a load in the bed, you could install airbags in place of the rear bump stomps in between on the frame and the bed.
Custom Offsets awesome! keep up the great work!
can you make a video on a body lift for a 2001 f150
Have you guys done any setups on the full size Chevy Express vans ?
with a level like this or a lift with about a 3" larger strut, would u need new UCAs?
I was just wondering because I put on a 2inch leveling kit on and my front tires seems to wear out on the outside edge of the tires..... so I was wondering should I put on a 2inch spacer on my wheel to have a even wear on the tires?
I'd love to see a Chevy 1500 z71 07-13 2 inch or 3 inch level kit if possible on here for this new series. 👍
How’s it going. I gotta a question for ya. What does something like that cost to have that done. I bought a 2 inch leveling kit for my expedition online but it’s a little more involved than I want to get into what do you think that’ll cost to have somebody do it for me
That’s what I wanna do to mine! Unfortunately I’ve been hesitant and worried to do it.
What's the torque on all the bolts he removed? 300-450 pounds on the lower strut bolt?
You guys should consider updating your youtube playlists to reflect vehicle makes, like a section for dodge/ram builds, section for GM builds, section for fords, be nice to be able to sort that way! Love the videos, keep it up.
You can search in the channel search bar (chevy, ram, ford)
Custom Offsets doesn't work that way on mobile. It just starts a brand new search on RUclips outside of your channel.
@@dabigperm5766 that is so annoying I didn't know that was only mobile.
Hello awesome video what brand is this kit ?
I have a 2009 F150 King Ranch, are the 2 1/2 blocks on the top of the struts to much. I don’t want to have any trouble with axles and boots !
You guys should do a video on super lift suspension.
What would someone expect to pay (average) for this type of service? I'm only asking because my Son got the leveling kit for Christmas and wants to do this and I would have to have a pro do it as I do not possess the tools.
I have a 2000 Ford F-150 2wd and would like to do a 2in level what would be the ideal choice
Did you guys have to mess around the the 4x4 vacuum?
what I would like to do is add the front leveling kit and then add bags to the back then if I tow something I can use the bags to compensate.
thanks for sharing, definitely more install videos, maybe even with commentary here and there during the process.
on an unrelated note...were the drums being played along with the riff, or did the drum track somehow get shifted during mixdown?
i'm all for displaced rhythms and odd time measures, but it just sounds off to me. like i said, it's nothing to do with anything, just something i noticed, as a musician. if it sounds right to you, then it's doing what it was written to do.
Custom Offsets drums sound fine TRUST ME lol they're good
So question you don’t have to replace the cams?
How long does this job take? Is $400 high?
Okay so I have a leveling kit on my truck that I installed and I did put 10 wides with a 33-in tire now I have to do major metal trimming on the corner of the fender I watch your fitment gallery and I saw four to six trucks running a Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks with 20x10s -24 they all say it was minor plastic trimming after watching this video and watching the fitment gallery that's not the case now I cannot return my wheels I wish people could be more honest you should make a video on how wide you could put on the level 2013 Ford F-150 so other people will not make the same mistake
You said 10 wide with 33s. Any offset needed? I'm completely lost when it comes to this lol.
I have a 2016 f150 4x4 super crew , I’m just wanting to know if a 2.5” leveling kit and 33-12.5x22 with a -44 offset will work ? If not what offset would do it . I’m also taken all crash bars out . Please let me know . Thank you 😊

Ok so if I bought the parts what would it cost to have the work done???
When tightening the upper control arm down shouldn’t it be under load or should I just tighten it to spec while it’s still unloaded?? Thanks!!
best to do it under load!
Great vid! Do you have to do a alignment after installing this?
Anything suspension related, you should get an alignment
custom offsets, do you guys sales does leveling kits and how to do you spin it 180 degrees so the bolts up top line up
?
Jr Rojas that’s what I’m trying to figure out as well
how come you dont need to compress the spring and turn the cap of the coilover? wont the bottom bolt not line up anymore if the top bolts are turned?
you put the strut in, the same way you took it out, but spin it 180 degrees so the bolts up top line up
ok after the first song the music got good
Does anyone know if I can add a leveling kit on top of 6" suspension lift on 2004 F150 extended cab??? Need some advice (: thanks
It depends on how they lifted it, it may already have it and they compensated the rear for stock height. Do you know what shop did it and what lift kit manufacturer?
After putting the level spacer do u have to put a spacer on the tires and Alignment
No to the spacer for wheels, alignment is a great idea though
Did you have to adjust the camber after installing this leveling kit?
we take it to the alignment shop Mike!
What are the effects of a 2" lift to the ride, handling, mileage and structural integrity?
Plenty fine. ALOT of people run leveling kits, from simple to wild setups. A leveling kits a very simple pain free way to change a trucks looks
Doubt I will get a response considering how old this video is, but if you install leveling spacers and want to improve the ride of your truck... should I purchase Bilstein HDs or Bilstein 5100 leveling struts? In theory I haven't changed the length or travel of the setup correct?
MattBimmer we are always here ;) shoot an email to info@customoffsets.com and ask for Brad. He’s our suspension expert and will have some ideas for you!
On 2010 f150 2wd is the strud the same as a 4wd??
could use some help. tried installing a leveling kit on my 2011 f150. put the spacer on top of the strut and went to install. had to turn the strut 180 degrees cuz of the bolt pattern and went to put the strut back into the top and it didn't want to seat properly. any suggestions?
Dealing with the same issue :/
can 35s fit with rough country level kit
Great info guys, thank you, but how will this effect my towing, I tow a 29 ft. RV weighing in about 8000 lbs. any info would be greatly appreciated
Will be plenty fine BBQ Mike
If not you can add air bags in the back to take care of the sag
Is 10 wide the max with no rub?
When installing what do you need to watch out for as far as removing the cv axle
Contact our experts at info@customoffsets.com and they will be able to help inform you! 🤙
what song is that at the begining?
Looking to go to a 35" on my 16 z71, but want to go up minimally in lift. Will a 2.5" leveling kit work? What is better, upper or lower leveling kit?
Check out our gallery and see what other people have fit on theirs including the rubbing and trimming detail of each vehicle!

Do you need a front end alignment after installing the level kit?
anytime you do something suspension related you should get an alignment!
The song on repeat was killing me, but it was a good vid
I'm planning on putting 20x12 -44 offset wheels with 33x12.5 tires, would that setup work on a 2 inch level in my 2012 f-150, and what kind of trimming would I be looking at?
You can check here to see what others had to do! bit.ly/2KMBUXb
How would I go about fitting 35x12.50's in there with only a 2" front level?
Depends on vehicle Mr budahsmoke. Some trucks it fits, some it does not, as well as wheel size/width/offset
If i get a 2.5 inch lift for the front how many inches will i need gor the rear to balance out evenly?
Drive 2016 f150 xlt 2wd
2.5" lift in the front usually works like a leveling kit
i have a c/k 3500 dually and it seats rack as you said with the back higher then the front and i would like to do the same thing that as you guys did to this truck so it can seat leveled in the front or higher then the rear but i couldnt find a leveling kit on your website for a c/k 3500 dually rwd
1997
If I decide to use a 3inch kit instead do I have to change my control arm? 2009 f150 4x4 supercrew.
The kit will come with everything needed
I just did this and when I drop the suspension knuckle all it’s being held on by is a thin little wire for the brakes. I do not recommend doing this. I was not please with this video after attempting this.
def gotta show some 14-16 chevy silverdoe lift install! def will be going through yalls website to order some stuff!!
I have a stock Ford F-150 suspension. Which one is the right leveling kit.. 2” or 2.5” for front
There really isnt a right or wrong height of a kit as long as its made specifically for your vehicle you should be fine with either one! Check out our suspension kits here!

What about 2'-3' inch lift kits that use a new spindle i/o of spacers in the front? Do they compensate for the increase in angle of the UCA ball joint? What's the main difference?
it may correct ball joint angles a little bit BRV but, it does the same thing as as spacer, just adds the height in the spindle and not on the top of the strut, etc.
Custom Offsets - Thanks for the reply! I need to replace the whole front suspension on my Expedition so I'll do a lift while I'm at it. I'll definitely check your website to see what y'all got.
I just did the same thing to my 09 fx4 and theres more wheel gap in the front then the rear,it looks as you have the same on this truck, now what can i do raise the rear up an inch
This happens a lot because the FX4 comes with a factory lift that people don't account for. I went with a 1.5 level on my 2018 for that reason. You can add blocks to the rear to give you more rake, but take into account how much weight you normally have in your bed because I carry tools every day in a full bed tool box & I have a rolling bed cover. And if I tow heavy I have airbags installed. Good luck
I've had a leveling kit (2") on my 2016 f150 and about 2 weeks after it was done it stated creaking. I took it back told them what it was doing and they took it all apart and tightened it all back up. It was fine for about another 2 weeks then it started again with the creaking. Any ideas why? Thanks
Ball joint maybe
if I'm running larger tires and wheels do i need to change gear ratios as well?
More often then not no!
Thats because Jeeps have to power...
I have a 2 inch leveling kit. I was wondering if I install it would it cause positive camper?
It will not
First I nothing about suspension stuff but say I wanted to put a bigger wheel on like you said in this video but I tow a lot. Can you lift the rear somehow so I can tow without putting a full lift kit on? If that makes sense to you?
Jarred Monaco or blocks under the leafs and longer u bolts
maaaannn after getting the strut out, with that rusted, shitty looking strut top now showing... at least hit that joker with a wire brush and get it looking decent before reinstalling!
That upper ball joint angle though.....lol
Was looking to add a 2" level to my 2021 F150 Lariat Fx4. Would their be any issues/rubbing w 295/70/R18. Will be using the stock 18" - 44 offset rims. Thank you...
The stock wheels are not -44 offset. But with those sizes, you will have no rubbing issues.
@Custom Offsets thank you very much for getting back to me. That was suppose to be a dash in the description... I'll make sure next time to keep that dash out of description 👍🏼
Can u add 22x12 with 33 stretched
How much does a leveling kit typically change the ride quality? I have a 2017 F150
Little to no change in ride quality Colton!
I just had mine done yesterday. 2016 F150 with 53,000 miles and got a 2” Pro Comp leveling kit and 33” KO2’s. The truck rides perfect. I also have the SCT X4 Tuner and a K&N filter. Great truck.
Sorry, a newbie question. Does this effect the ride quality? Stiffer ride? 😊
No, it shouldn't
Will they fit on a Ford 150 strut fit on a fordbcrown Strut in the front
Keith lift kits are specific for trucks, enter your year make and model here to find your leveling kit- bit.ly/2yGe8su
And how much do y’all charge
My '14 F-150 already has a level kit i don't know what brand & came with 33x12.5x18. The tires look small. How much bigger & wider can I go without replacing the whole suspension? I wanna keep it leveled not lifted.
Check our gallery out JC for fitment help on your F150 - bit.ly/2DgLW0N
J C Does the level make the ride more stiff? Or any changes at all ?
Zak P The tires are a little more aggressive & have minor highway noise but i think the ride is pretty smooth.
I got a 2013 f150 single cab i want to in stall a 3" lift all the way around. I was told that the 3" lift would put alot of stress on my ball joints and that i would be replacing alots of ball joint. Any type of feedback or recommendation would be a appreciate it
Benny, the 3" lift comes with aftermarket upper arm, so it it will help alleviate some stress off the ball joints, but if you put in quality lower ball joint it should last the same as if it were stock. bit.ly/2vHYdYE
does this change the front end alignment or is this just bolt in and go?
It is recommended you get an alignment after changing anything suspension related mike!
thanx, I've only ever done a similar lift on a solid axle that doesn't need an alignment
Nice video. I noticed the spacer thickness looks a lot less than 2”. Is that normal? Thx guys.
James Jannell yes. There are a few geometry changes that make the truck about 2” taller even though the spacer itself may be less than 2”
Custom Offsets thank you for that.
What would the cost be to do this to a 2019 F150?
Shoot us an email to info@customoffsets.com
Wonder what this does to the cv angles and boots when arching the front end down when leveling.
ro te This past Wednesday, my friend and I installed a 3" front leveling kit on my 2013 F150 XLT 4x4 and the cv joints and boots are not at extreme angles.
Custom Offsets Wish I would have came across this video before installing my leveling kit. Took us 2.5 hours before realizing we needed to pull the front axle. 4 hours on one side, 1.5 hours on the other after figuring out how to properly do it.
I like the look, how would this affect me towing a 5000 lb trailer? Thanks
It shouldn’t affect anything make sure to read to the description
To put 20x10 on 2010 GMC Sierra 4x4 3 inch suspension lift work?
Custom Offsets 33 Toyo rt
Fit for 33s on 2013 4wd f150 with stock suspension?
I own a 2014 FX4 and 33s will fit with stock suspension as long as you stay within same width.
I have a 3 inch levelling going in is that a good idea or bad ?
should be fine Brayden!
Custom Offsets thank you
I wanna lvl my 17 f150 2wd do I need a 2in lvl or a 2.5in lvl?
You could do either one! Check out our suspension kits here!
customoffsets.com/suspension
I have one simple question is it as simple as
2inch spacer =2inch lift
3inch spacer=3inch lift
Sorry if it's a pretty dumb question just curious thanks!!
Basically yes!
What does this install cost? Out the door.
Would love to see you guys level a Tundra with some 35s. I got a 15' Tundra with a 3/2 level kit running the 20x9 factory wheels on 33x12.50 Toyo MT and it seems the wheels look a little small for the body size and that level kit from a side view although the front/rear view looks fine and love the streamlined look. Any suggestions on an offset that would possibly work with the setup I've got? I got a little time before treads run out on the mt's but I would like to run another set of 35x12.5 toyo. I really like the ride on those tires. Thanks for any info you might have and I'm really enjoying all the good info this channel provides.
Custom Offsets will do, thanks.
Adding 2” level just like one shown to my 2011 f150 4x4 lariat with 135k miles. Been reading back and forth reviews. Does it change camber enough to need a camber kit? Thanks in advance.
No it shouldn’t man!
I know it’s been awhile. Did you level your truck, keep stock rims and what tire size did you run. I have a 2011 also. Installing rough country complete strut assembly that add 2 inches. I put 5100’s on rear and want to keep factory 18 inch rims. Thanks

Don't you need a front end alignment, after that?
We recommend an alignment anytime you do suspension work!
Did you have to compress the spring and turn the strut?
chris, we do occasionally. but usually bolts right up
I followed this guide and now I have a humming noise coming from the front right! Any ideas??????
Found out the CV axel but they show you in the video DOESN’T NEED TO BE TAKEN OFF AT ALL! I didn’t align the gears back up and broke the plastic piece in the vacuum hub actuator and it cost me $100 to replace! After doing the job myself it is evident this video leaves out SO much of the process and tips to help you do the job! Look for another video if you’re planning on doing it yourself their is much better ones out there guys
Mad at these guys cause you obviously didn’t know what the fuck you were doing 😂😂😂 Take it to a shop next time.
Travis Churich obviously didn’t know what your doing bud
Could you fit 20x12 after This without much rub on 33”
