Did this to my 2007 f-150 when it was brand new from the dealer. Never was sorry I did as it made getting larger tires on it possible as I needed that to get into the fields with when they were muddy. Never any problems after that.
you prolly dont care but does someone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?
I was stupid lost my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Cayson Cooper instablaster =)
@Alfredo Conner Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im trying it out atm.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Alfredo Conner it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account :D
@Cayson Cooper No problem xD
Can you give the exact tire and rim and offset size? Thank you!
Last video I watched they were working on it like it was a surgery. Y’all are just up in there manhandling that thang 😂
Putting that strut back in the lower control arm, you made it look too easy.
I think it looks great man Don't do the awesome job
Anything that has a blue oval on it is the best
0:10 *mario kart flashbacks*
i got my kiit sitting i have auto springs 2 /1/2 leveing spacers i dont no if i need taller ones in rear of my 2011 f150 4x4
epic video
I've had an '07 and '09 F150 and I loved both! Still drive the '09 to this day.
You tightened that axle nut back on right?
I have a gold 2012 with the same tow mirrors. I just got my leveling kit today and will use this video to install mine. Thanks!
I have a 99 F150 and am going to do a level kit sometime soon as well, love the look! 🙌🏽
Crank your keys up
What inch is the level kit? I just bought a 1.5" for the exact same truck and now womder if its big enougjh
Upper control arm nut won’t come off on mine
How long did 1st side take? It's the learning curve, looks great!
Love your videos ❤️
What size 18” Falkens did you go with? Truck looks great!
What year is this truck and is it a 2WD?
“Did it with it a croissant” made me hungry 😂
What nuts did you have to buy?
doesn't removing/separating the axle screw up the IWE vaccuum?
Also, i just watched a guy install spacers by only disconnecting the lower control arm and sliding the strut in and out. is this possible!?
Same thing I was wondering too
Vid made me sub. Good job bro.
Dirty Ol' Zircon bless her heart ♥️
How's the clearance on the UCAs? How about the angle on the UCA ball joint after install?
Does it hurt or affect the trucks suspension over time?
Only if you go above 2.5 inch for a leveling kit
Thanks, it looks a whole lot better.
RED BEARD ROCKS,,AND LOVES EVERYONE!!!
This looks way more difficult than it should be lol
Did you raise the rear with any blocks?
Dude don’t take a cheater bar to that beautiful V Craftsman ratchet. The v selector knob. That is vintage collectible.
I got in the mail 2” strut leveling box and got regular struts
All that work and then the cam phasers wipe out...tee hee
What size wheel and tire setup you have?
Second
Fun fact: Falken Tire is not actually a knockoff at all. They are their own tire brand and are owned by Sumitomo rubber industries.
The Nitto brand is actually owned by Toyo
Alan Wittner I concur. Falken has been around for a minute and is definitely not any kind of off brand or copy cat kind of company. The Wild peaks have great reviews and they should serve him well
Question, what do you do when your trying to take the bolt off the upper control arm and the bearing just keeps spinning
You should be able to put a 10mm box wrench on the bottom of the stud for leverage. You will not be able to use an impact if you need to do it this way.
What size level was this
Are these 18x9s or 18x10?
18x10
Also the tires are 305/55/18s? And what's the Falken tire model name if you don't mind me asking.
Any updates to the truck?
Great video guys for young mechanics
Did you do a 1&1/2 " or 2" level kit on the 2011 ?
PlanetF150 on YT did the same leveling kit. Now just get rid of those ugly ass rain guards, and you'll be all set!
It's the same as my 08 was, I went with billet just in case.
If you don’t want the rubbing!?? Just go straight!!! Lol 😆 looks awesome 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Sweet truck bro...I love the newer F150's...I think they ride and drive the best out of all of them and have wanted a blue one like yours for a long time ..but other bills come first..but I will have one some day
I work at the Ford plant in Buffalo so if you're looking into buying a new one let me know I'll hook you up with my A-plan which takes off up to 8 grand depending on the model you want.
@@fodowvovo wow buddy’s got the hookup!!
Not sure if he said it in the video, its loud where im at.. but what is the wheel & tire size??
This a 2wd or 4wd?
Hi
Shop tip. Get a regular fan, ditch the blade, find a tri-blade (RC, prolly a Mustang RC plane or something like that) make it fit, and then profit. Prolly wanna make note of the way the motor spins before buying the prop. When these props, which are fully optimized for flight aren't run 100%, which a fan is like what...40% or there about, they are very quiet. I 3D printed mine and it's one of the quietest fans ever. Obviously, if you hit the camera, it will "ping", but set it at the ground and you should be fine.
Being hot and sweaty when you work sucks a&&.
First one

Where can I buy that grille?
Sorry if you already answered this, I couldn’t find it. Is this a 2wd?
Thanks for the video, I installed a different brand kit but installed the same! I had to use a croissant wrench as well
Croissant LUL
You were supposed to pull vacuum.
That m12 putting in work!!! Must be brushless
Whit size tires are they? I got 18s as well with 285/70/18.
2 inches level ? Size in tires pls and just the front or in the rear too ?
where’d u get the lights from?
What size is the nut on the upper control arm?
Looks awesome. I just bought a 2011 f150 Texas Edition and want to get a leveling kit. This helps a lot, thanks.
Looking into a 2013 f150 Texas edition, did you ever get the kit on it? That’s the first thing I want to do to mine.
Was it a 1.5” kit? Need to do the same to my truck
Is that a 2-inch leveling kit?
After changing out my old struts to bilstein 5100’s and changing my upper control arms I can’t get the knuckle and upper control arm to match up. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Really helpful, thanks for all the detail. Great video!
Were you find the rims??
What leveling kit did you use
I have a 91 f150 that want to do this to it butt it's just the springs I need to swap out
What impact are you using ?
how did you do your taillights that nice?
Looks fantastic, nice video !
What running bars are those?
Are those 18x10s? Also, how do you like the Falken tire? I'm getting a 2010 F-150 FX4 by the end of summer and definitely wanting something like yours. Really like the video because it gives me an idea of what I'm going for
With just the leveling kit installed do I need to get the truck aligned?
Yes. That’s a must after install. ASAP, I did mine at the same time it’s roughly 2 hundred dollars to get shop to do it. 2 hundred for the kit, then 85 for alignment. About 500 will get you level properly if you don’t install yourself.
How wide are the tyres
I love your truck man!!
Tire and wheel specs please!
gooedantite german torque spec lol, myself not into leveling kits, put a load on it now the back looks sagging, any way to each his own, nice instructional vid
Never beat on the tie rod that way, put pressure on it with a pry bar, and hit the part its stuck into, it should pop apart relatively easily, and you don't risk damaging your tie rod end.
🤤🤤🤤
What size tires and rims
Truck looks sick😎
No it's not a Chevy, it's a real truck.
Red do you guys have an email address or another to contact you
I too have the same question as others which I have not seen an answer to….does leveling effect the ride quality?
It did not. Ride was as good as factory. I did notice a drop in gas mileage in just the leveling kit.
@@RedBeardsGarage great. Thanks for responding 😊
Did you get an alignment done?
Yes right after the install
Look sharp I think those half inch thick fender flares would really set this truck off with that silver in the background
Truck looks awesome!! I can not wait to see the power gains from your work. Maybe you could dyno the truck stock and after each mod to see what the gains are for each mod.
How to measure buy the right leveling kit?
So what about the adjustment bolts you need for the lower control arm? Every shop says they won’t do the alignment without it
I had my f-150 leveled with spacers on top of the struts but problem I kept having was my control arm Was hitting against spring . As well it was damaging my suspension. Decided to drop it back down to normal. Anyone have the same issue? Did mine exactly like the video .
Yea on my 11’ went with rancho quick lift (full strut) never hit again. I think they make them slightly slimmer
So I just installed my 2 inch level but with lifted struts and rear shocks. As well it came with the 2 inch blocks for the back. Well it ain’t quit level?? You can still notice a little kick up in the rear, Am I missing something? A little upset it didn’t turn out full level. Will the rear eventually level? Please help
So you did 2 inches at the front and 2 inches at the back? It’s not gonna be level unless you bring the front up more than the rear.
How'd you guys get that strut back in there, I couldn't, for the life of me, push that strut back in after putting the spacer on top. The control arm would not get down far enough, tried removing the knuckle from the lower control arm but at that point it could move far enough to release that bushing, I put it all back together to take a swing at it again next week.
kyle saich make sure you have BOTH front tires off the ground.. the suspension is connected so if only one side is up, it puts pressure on the other side and makes it impossible to move anything
But a bigger lift bro atleast 6in
what shoes are those Red? look cool.
Get your truck tuned
YOU REALLY HAVE A SWEET WIFE...GOD BLESS TALL BUBBA
