As an occasional United flyer, the United Biz $99 and Gateway cards work well enough. Checked bag, 2 lounge passes, 5K points a year for having both cards. I also seem to be targeted on the Gateway card for their quarterly spend promos that they offer across Chase's cobranded cards. ✈️
Always great content Sebby, one thing I'd point out is this card does get you Avis President's Club, I've found this to be a very helpful perk and I would factor that into the analysis as only one other card that I'm aware of gives that level of status (that being the personal United Club) so there's not a huge rush at the counter of President's Club members and I found it to be massively helpful when I was in Europe, but obviously YMMV
✈ It's always important to do a reasonable value analysis of all the benefits a card will give you NATURALLY. The value you assign to certain perks will differ from person to person, so it's good that you pointed that out! This seems like a great card for the right consumer, but I don't think it'll be one I add unless I move to a location with a United hub. Great video though Sebby!
The new United lounges in EWR are great. They just opened the new second lounge in terminal C, so there are 2 new lounges in C and also a new lounge in A.
The new Delta sky club is a game changer for me. I know that’s a heavy term but considering how bad the lounge situation was before, it’s a super nice lounge addition to ORD
Love the way you cut through the "what is clearly tax-advantaged" mess. UA clubs are the mist basic of all lounges. If UA offered the same benefit of the Citi Executive card where you could give employees lounge access UA would be a no-brainer. ✈
✈I'm thinking about this as another card, but I can't see where I would get much use out of it. PDX has a United lounge but I'm a heavy in the Delta space with AMEX so I dunno.
Great video! My complaint about AMEX is they have no way to carry over any info over to other airlines when you book. Example: booked alaska on my amex card, the milage number and passports etc need to be manually entered into the Alaska site. Whats worse is if you want to change seats you cant do it online after booking, you have to call Alaska to get them to change them or upgrade them. Its ridiculous. And good luck getting flight change info alerts when they make changes. Now I have enough points to book directly with Alaska. That might be a good topic for a future video .
I fly to Asia and Germany a lot and my Gold Status gives me access to the lounges in Singapore, Taiwan and Frankfurt....Pretty amazing...great food, showers etc. I only mention it here because I get status easier because of the extra help I get having a long care(debating whether I should just have the business care), but think I will stick to the regular lounge United card..
✈ Don't know why but homeboy at 8:20 made me pause the video to laugh for some reason as it struck me as the most random stock footage ever. Not sure why but it just caught me off guard.
I fly through Chicago a few times per year, and if I flew once a month this card would be a no brainer. Right now the $99 card is a better value. Even at ORD, there is a variance in lounge quality. One was not bad, one kind of sucked. Unfortunately two weeks ago I chose the one that sucked.
I generate points using the Chase Trifecta. If I purchase tickets using points through CSR travel/portal, and IF I have the United Club Business, can I get the status still? priority boarding, free checked in bag, etc? I noticed that any United trips I booked, I continue on the United website for seat upgrades etc. TIA!!
✈️ looking for status on Delta what would be the best way? I have a American Express platinum card and a gold business card. Airports LA and Austin. Thanks
Amex Delta Platinum and Delta Reserve cards and hit the status boosts. YMMV depending on type of business you run but pretty easy if you're inventory focused :)
@@AskSebbyBusinessjust got the intro bonus on Delta reserve biz. I’m considering opening a third delta card and then only need another 8k spend and 2 trips on Reserve to hit gold. Lot of extra overhead but I am considering the benefit even as it’s hard for me to be loyal if I can’t find a convenient route outta SFO
Hey Sebby I have this Capital One Savor card with an annual fee is going to be 3 years on this February. I know this is a business channel sorry about that. My current credit score is 770 if I close this card how bad do you think it will hurt my credit score? I I tried several times to downgraded to no annual fee or another card also with no fee and they won't do it. When the annual fee post I'm going to call them everyday that week try to downgrade again.
There's a lot of content I film that I don't publish because it won't do well. A huge reason for this is the algorithm. Basically, if you underperform, it's less likely to push future videos. This is why you see some large "zombie" channels as well. Good practice is that you want your videos to hit about ~10% of your subscriber count (i.e., if you have 250k subscribers, do you reasonably believe that 25k people will watch this / care / etc.). Business cards, by nature, having a smaller TAM (total addressable market) and lower interest. I've done prior business card reviews on the main channel before but they tank, which screws up the next 2-3 videos: ruclips.net/video/8g2x7uR1D1o/видео.html& TLDR: I don't want to get punished for reviewing cards :)
@@AskSebbyBusiness This is super smart! I think it's a great idea. On my channel, I'm always trying to double down on what works, and oddly enough, my best-performing video is a business card video, but I think that was probably a one-off. Niching down on what works is always a good strategy though. Rather than just put out content to put it out, it's always good to focus on the analytics and RUclips strategy as well.

The article mentioned at 7:54 is from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and does not apply to American law.

✈✈✈ This actually made me realize that their $99 AF Biz CC is pretty legit for the occasion United flyer. Thanks for the info + video!

Spencer I wanna try explore the United club lounge in that why the explore card from chase

based out of ORD, United Clubs are kinda all we’ve got. They just opened a new C gate one. Looks nice but not EWR-tier

@@ethang7242 but then you’ve gotta fly Delta, and if you live in Chicago, odds are you’re not flying Delta. Delta only has 7 direct destinations.

The new Delta Sky Club in terminal 5 at ORD is really nice (small argument for Delta at ORD lol) ✈
Hi Sebastian , please make a video explain ,more about Polaris Lounges, please thx
5:55 a day pass is $59, buying airport snack/food sets you back more than $20, I usually work while I wait so for me the value is definitely there

This card is a Visa issued by Chase, not Amex
This is intriguing with Centurion and Delta removing guest access for my flights out of SFO and LAX. Thanks!

✈very informative, thanks Sebby!
So if you use the personal card only for business, can you deduct it from taxes?
🍿 I’m watching them all, even if I just get personal cards right now

All the airlines offer status thru travel portals
✈ I agree that Delta lounges are better in most airports
I’m considering the explorer card by chase for Airline with United
After I’m outta 5/24 Jail
✈ i thought about getting this card many times but could never justify it. Especially when my home airport is LAS...
star alliance lounge access?

✈️ I feel most of Biz credit cards are for bigger companies. Smaller companies won’t get much from these…
This feels like a small business one. Definitely agree other ones lean bigger though or more niche (i.e., ads)
Not true. Small biz $1m a year . I use that card and Amex.
✈ on my radar once I'm under 5/24

Same info packed content but with a focus on ONLY business cards!
