This is just beautifully made and thank you for such detail. William Morris has been a favourite of mine for years and this quilt is like a party. Lovely to see your work ❤
If anyone could do it, it would be you 🙌❤️🪡🧵❤️, but seeing how long it takes me by machine it would be your life’s work to do it by hand.. 🤯😵💫 And a proper wonky version could actually look pretty amazing! ❤️❤️❤️👌
@ But I wouldn’t make a quilt, because, yes, that way it would be a work of a lifetime 😅, I would make just some to get that effect and then I could join it to another kind of quilting pattern 😉
Or you could make another bag / rice bag with it.. oooh that would look gorgeous!! I think I might use some of the little off cut triangles on some book / journal covers.. Could I please have an extra day a week just to sew? 🤭😂❤️❤️❤️
I’m not sure I understand thickly in this context - really sorry! English is my second language.. Do you mean the base square should be smaller to condense the block repeat or do you find there are too many seams crossing with this block?
@@bluebellhillcrafts sorry …typing error…meant tricky to put together. I’m a beginning quilter. You do such beautiful quilting & I love all your beautiful work !!! 🪡💙🧵
Aaah ok, that made me chuckle.. 🤭☺️ This was the quilt block I made my very first quilt with 2.5 years ago and it was a great way to practice point matching. If a whole quilt is a bit daunting, you could just make a few samples and turn them into a tote bag or cushion cover if you fancy having a go. I really appreciate your kind comments, thank you! 🙏🙋♀️
Wonderfully and beautifully made! Just like us! Thank you and God bless!from Baudette Minnesota USA ❤
Thank you sooooo much, I can use a lot of scraps for this quilt

Thank you! 😊
Sehr schön und danke für die Bügeltips
And the pressing and sewing tips as well 🤗
My pleasure! It’s always good to revisit the basics, I find, especially for people who haven’t been sewing all that long.
Happy sewing 🙋♀️😍
I was wondering if I could do this by hand… I think I can, but it’ll be wonky 😂! This is a beautiful pattern ♥️🤎🧡💙💚💜💛🩷🩵❤️

@ I love the idea of a rice bag! We can never have too many of them, can we? 😂😘🤗💙💙💙
Beautiful fabric … looks a bit too thickly for me 😱
