They should have kept Carlos instead of Leclerc.

His first win was a gift by Ferrari by screwing over Charles, if Charles pitted he easily wins that GP with Carlos in P2.
As for thinking they should keep Carlos over Charles is literally a brain-dead statement fanboy or hater because it is pure fact and indisputable that Charles is way quicker in both quali one lap pace and in race pace over Carlos and is the only one of the two who was capable of battling Verstappen when they had a championship winning car for half a season. Lec is by far the better driver and he has been screwed over by Ferrari way more than Carlos and he is still way quicker and scores more points.
@@John333Scout I really like Charles and Carlos, I'm obviously going to want my favorite driver to stay in my favorite team, and that's how I said, Ferrari sees in Charles the promise of a future champion, but there's no point in taking the best drivers while the The biggest problem is the strategy and the car not being good enough. As a tifosi, I have to think first about the team winning, and I hope that both Charles and Carlos, and Hamilton in the future, will perform well.
@@namelessthali I was responding more to Onxy and then sa-eedah, but i agree with you mostly. I want Ferrari to do well and that means both Charles and Carlos and eventually idk how I am going to have to be a Ham fan lol even tho I hated him for years.
My issue is I am a fan of both drivers a lot even before they drove for Ferrari and now that they are I have been happy with them, but there seems to be this weird delusional hate toward Charles 95% of it unjustified and then also a overconfidence or liking to Carlos of late and its clear by any analytical evaluation that Charles is the better driver in any scenario. People like to say Carlos is more consistent but he has made more mistakes than Charles over the past few years. It just seems those mistakes are less costly because he is slower. Aka when Charles crashed in France in 2022 he lost P1 but when Carlos crashed out of Australia in 2022 he only lost P3 and that is forgotten about quicker because it is less iconic. Charles gets more scrutiny because of his superior pace.
The part I have a massive problem is when we ignore Charles's bad luck which has been way worse than Carlos yet he still beats Carlos despite his misfortunes. Most of Ferrari's strategy mistakes, pit stop mistakes, and random engine failures are unlucky usually with Charles and not Carlos. Not to say Carlos hasn't also experienced those misfortunes but they seem to happen 2-3 times more often with Charles. Then people will take all that data and somehow ridiculously delusionally claim that A Charles is overrated or B Carlos is better than Charles and that is where I have a problem. Its not even an opinion, its just blatant bias and ignoring of the facts. It would be like saying Perez is better than Ver. Its just factually wrong and it isn't a debate or an opinion anymore.

I've been new to f1 and my first season was the 2023, after watching the singapore gp and understanding what did carlos do to pull off a win instantly turn me into a fan of him but now that i watched the previous seasons he had with ferrari, i would honestly wish the rumors were true about him not getting a longer contract with the team, i mean come on, he could've win more races if he wasn't held back by ferrari

The only thing I can hope rn is Vasseur. He's the best person (like someone who actually achieved things in his fricking career) Ferrari have had since Todt in terms of Team Principal, and he genuinely seems to put good things in place like the very obvious choice of making the pit crew make 2000 pit-stops (real number) during the winter break last year. So yeah, next year is our year 💪..........

@@ricardorusso1462 Bro Vasseur had barely any impact on Ferrari in 2023, the car was the Binotto era's car, same for the people, same for the mindset, he did start recruiting people but that will only be able to come in 2025/6 or changin the mindset of a whole team and it being fricking ferrari makes it twice as hard so i ttakes time, and the few things he worked on literally worked out great, Ferrari did make mistakes in pit-stops but way less and they were the 2ns best team in terms of average pitstop time, plus Vasseur doesn't deny his mistakes and those of Ferrari contrary to Binotto.
@@ricardorusso1462take away Binottos previous effects of the car and strategy team vasseur did his best. Not to mention Binotto clearly didn’t like Leclerc where as vasseur seems to want Sainz and leclerc to succeed
I think this is what makes Michael’s 5 wins at Ferrari all the more impressive. I mean, he was literally brought into Ferrari because literally because of their incompetence, and Michael was there to improve their engines
Alonso did quite well, despite the team.
As a Ferrari and italian fan, I think it's horrible that the team administration has made the most successful team in F1 a f***ing meme. That being said, I'll support Ferrari ever and forever 'till the end of my life, with the hope of someday watch my favourite team become again World Champion.

One of the biggest problems with Ferrari, especially after Todt left, was that they just straight up had shite cars. You bring up the 2014 car as an example of a shit car a lot, but the cars Alonso drove in his stint at Ferrari were ALL shitboxes, especially the 2012 car, Alonso was just *that* good to drag those tractors into positions where they shouldn't be. Even when they start the season with a title contending car, by the summer break the development flatlines and if that doesn't happen, they get done for cheating, _if that doesn't happen,_ they'll make a mistake beyond comprehension in a make or break race, and if that doesn't happen, the driver will make the mistake for them.
Also as a side note, The race engineers at Ferrari aren't completely useless, the chief strategist (Who has finally been sacked), was the one making the idiotic strategies.

You forgot to mention that Ferrari went against his main and - at time - current world champion driver, Raikkonen in 2008 and 2009. With Todt being out, and kimi being 2007 world champion, Montezemolo and Schumacher decided that it was time for Massa to be world champion in 2008, as a reward of the past services, and played political games. Ferrari made the technical evolution to help his driving style.
It only possible in Ferrari to see a team going against his main driver (and in Williams back in the time, but at least Williams did it for money, not for sympathy for a driver)
Then in 2009, they made Raikkonen responsible for the failure of the car and inability to cope with the new regulations. Remember the harrassing communication campain about his 'lack of motivation' ? Oddly, Raikkonen performed much better after Massa had his crash. The rest is history.

Perez now is barely holding on, but evidently they test drivers and then dump them, putting too much pressure and not giving time to learn a car made just for Max.

I get it, Ferrari didn’t win in 16 years.. not like many other teams won much, between 3 eras of domination (Red Bull, Mercedes, Red Bull again).
This era of F1 is highly engineering based, who gets it right at a new regulation is then years ahead of the competition for years.
If Mercedes didn’t whine about porpoising forcing TD39, ‘22 would have been a different season..
People like to dish on Ferrari, but meanwhile they are always in the top 3 in the last like 25 years at least (one exception for 2020), and there are plenty of other drivers “ruined” by plenty of other teams.
The fact that Ferrari is always in the top 3 make people notice every small mistake and add them up, meanwhile other teams are doing s**t and no one cares.
Now, finally Vasseur has some more decisional power, and the lead strategist since 2014 is out of the team, as well as Sanchez (leader of car concept that angered Leclerc so much at the preseasons testings in ‘23).
So, we will see what comes in the future.

all ok, exept fernando alonso lost it on his hand in 2010. more, the idea of the sh!tiest car of 2012 is just a PR stunt. that car won couple of races and fought for the title. this is no bad car. although is not my thing, i would say that there was some badluck in that year with belgium accident, when aloso got a good start, would have targeted a podium, enough to win at the end - just like 2017,2018, development during season was bad, yet still could have been champions if not for little error
but agree. to win with ferrari you have to give 200% as driver. each race. to cover all fcks up
