I'm using one of those cheapie EMPI pump/filter combos. I'm only running about 70 horses on my mild 1600sp so works fine and requires no lines or fittings. I did however replace the crappy filter canister after run-in with a quality unit. The oils stays clean and and the pressure is good, and that's what matters!
Good to know the Evil Energy fittings are still working well for ya. I ended up with some push lock AN fittings from Jegs, surprised the prices weren’t too bad compared to others… plus they had a sale 😂 Good video as always brother 🤙
Hello Jason, i currently have a CB performance Maxi Pump 3, at the moment I am using barb brass fittings I want to upgrade to AN fittings but not sure on which adapters and what AN size fittings I need, any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Really depends on the pump output thread size... I'm sure that info is avilable from CB. That would be the start, for example 1/4 NPT or 3/8 NPT to -8AN. Then you can move to the standard -8 fittings and hose kits.
@@johncollins5552yeah, but is worth it, no matter how many steel belt clamps I had some leaking not drastic but enough slowly build up, I went to this set and it’s completely sealed! I like it. Thanks JWClassicVW for all your videos they are really helpful.
Nice Vid bro as Usual Nicely Put together , Goose is looking good , My Sister Used too work at locktight Actually She used too bring Home Heaps of Stuff , Still got Most of it
I was looking at your video How To - Install CB Performance Weber IDF update Kit Thank you for that where can I get intake manifolds that turn my Weber IDFs around so I can get to the adjustments. Thanks
Hey JW ! did you race the bug at 16.00 that is a big blow thru . then it goes into a regular dp intake . I think you could take him ! but you got the option of re-tuning without changing springs and stuff . good video !
Sometimes, the fittings get scared or dirty requiring clean up with a lil 400 grit sandpaper. Also, using a lil anti-seize on the threads can help you get it a bit tighter.
Thanks for stopping by!! Do you use a full flow system? What type of oil pump are you running?
Yep. 30mm with a Berg pressure relief cover.
Sweet, Love anything BERG!

Those fittings cost a lot of bucks when you add it up.
I would happily stick with brass fittings.
@johncollins5552 They do add up, but with a build like mine, it's worth it.

Explain your oil pump and evacuation system. Alot of engines need this dual stage pump system Jason.
I got you brother!! I'll make a video covering just the Autocraft Oil pump.
Anybody else have problems with leaks at the hose line fittings I can not get it to stop tried a lot of methods

You mean Kevlar? First thing to go is the memory, brother!
Lolol... sooooo trues... no not Kevlar but I do have some oil lines made of Kevlar running to the turbo.
