You take an old piece from the garbage or from someone else you restore its life and you bring out the life it had before it and you make that life means something when you restore it. Because like people furniture also has life and is damaged by life and how it’s treated. Somehow I think there is a natural appreciation for all the work you do on the furniture, you pleat and repair and restore. Thank you very much for your videos, I only wish that I could on one of your pieces!

Whoa! First, I would be SO afraid to wash this old piece with water. I'm glad to know it can be done. Second...I'm SO glad you kept the original hardware. I've seen where you don't do that, so I'm glad you did. Thank you! Third..."seasonal movement of the wood..." Wow! I never thought about that! Fourth...Your "old school" method of "clamping" was brilliant! Wow! Leave it to our ancestors to know how to do things simply. Fifth...I LOVE how you cut out the old damaged part and replaced it with a new part. I would never think to do that. Sixth...it's so brilliant to use sawdust to blend with glue to fill in gaps. Seventh...when you made this video, you had 40K subscribers. Now you have 118k subscribers! Way to go!!! Ninth...You painted your original hardware. I don't have a problem with the original color. I think it adds an authentic "vibe" to the hardware. Last....I LOVE light wood. I love that you left it light, but at the same time, you added the black wax in the best places. The contrast with the light wood made it so much more interesting. The end result was BRILLIANT! I HOPE YOU DON'T HATE ALL MY COMMENTS. I CAN'T HELP MYSELF. I don't expect you to reply to all of them. Thank you.

Simply lovely! I would be so happy to have a piece like that in my apartment. Really nice! I was also thinking how great it must be to have all your tools and equipment set up and ready whenever you need them. Congratulations on your workshop.

Awesome result! It was so kind of you to pay the lady for the buffet even though she listed it for free on FB Marketplace. 🌻

It's been such a pleasure watching you evolve with your work and channel. The piece is absolutely stunning! It's heartwarming that you paid the person when they didn't ask for it. I'm Looking forward to the next project. Be safe and well. Cheers :)

Such a beautiful piece! The variations in the colors of the wood are one thing that makes this piece so unique. As usual, you handled every detail with such care. I'm glad you are keeping this one. Great job! 🙂👍

You are not only a craftsman of many trades , your eye for detail and perfectionism is a very rare gift . I'm halfway through your 15 videos and I'm in awe of your work ethic and capabilities. I have one hint for you which may help, it is when using paint stripper cover it with plastic kitchen wrap then wet newspaper to stop evaporation, makes good contact and the paper also stops it from blowing away. Kind Regards... Sharon from NZ
