Good luck finding color ink for this printer. Cyan and Yellow haven't been available since April. HP has a recall on them. However, HP has been sued too because the printer uses color even when printing just black. So you use color up very fast and have to buy more cartridges. It costs HP about $0.23 for each cartridge. They sell a set for about $59.99. Nice profit margin.
As a student, sometimes we’re allowed to take open note exams but online textbooks aren’t allowed. The next best option is to print notes and use them on the exam. I might end up getting this model of printer.
This comment doesn’t even make sense. What are you going to do, take screenshots of the online textbooks and print them out? ‘OPEN NOTE’ means notes YOU…physically TAKE a in class
I recently bought a HP printer and the ink cartridges are tiny. Be prepared to constantly have ink cartridge mailings. Fortunately for me, I only print/copy or fax an occasional important document.
I bought one of these a couple of months ago. Does fine for what I use it for. However, I did not know HP had a shortage of ink. Unless I used their automatic ink program, I found that I could not get ink cartridges for my printer model. As of 12/15/2020, it seems like HP is starting to re-stock. I hope that these shortages will not happen again. I would suggest that anyone get extra XL cartridges in case another shortage occurs.
Thanks, Andru! Would you know if I can print stock cards using this printer? Also, what is the maximum thickness of card stock that this printer supports? Thanks
quick question, if i choose to not go with the ink subscription am i able to just buy a new ink cartridge from staples say and just replace it when im running low? or are the ink cartridges for this printer subscription exclusive
Excellent review, you pointed out a few features that other reviewers failed to do so. I will proceed to buy this printer thanks to your review……thank you for your time and effort.
Does it have where it will actually print something BLACK with the black cartridge, or does it use the color cartridge to make black?! I have that issue with both my HP and Brother printers.
What are the odds I almost bought this the other day. Went for one of their tank printers in the end (smart tank plus 570) but still looks to be a very good printer. Only ever used hp printers though, never found any fault with them (except when you try to contact customer services)
Guys look for ink in ali express they are cheap i bought a full package all coulor for my printer for 10$ i used the ink and they are cool and didnt face any issues with them . Hopefully you have the same experience with them as main
Great video. It answered the big question I had about saving to a USB drive, which I hoped this printer would support. I was seeing conflicting reviews on other sites, but your video was helpful in helping me make the decision to buy this printer. Thanks for the useful information!
A printer is something that you really should have at home; even if you don't use it that much. There are moments when you'll need it. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 being $199.99...It's no surprise it has these features through a smartphone app. It's great to know that this printer has an easy unboxing, and easy software set ups. Personally, I prefer to have a hard connection through wires, and then WiFi features as an option. I prefer to buy ink & paper when needed instead of through a subscription feature. That is cool though this come with a code for 8 months worth of ink for free. That side USB functionality is definitely super useful. It definitely is useful to move files through the printer instead of having to manually transfer it through another computer. Personally, I still use a regular color inkjet printer that I bought years under when I was an undergraduate college student. It's old, but it still gets the job done since I mainly print stuff at home for tax purposes and for shipping labels if I sell stuff on my eBay. I have a slightly newer all-in-one HP printer in the office room at home that has scan, print, and fax functionality. But we only use that for scanning and printing things. That printer I have set up to my WiFi network and all we do with that is occasionally print stuff from downstairs from the phone through WiFi.
Is there a way to scan from the printer to your computer without using your phone? The phone app is nice, but sometimes I'm on the computer and want to scan a document to my computer, but the app scans the document to my phone, which is not as useful as scanning it to the computer.
Hi, I bought this printer a few months ago but have only just unboxed it. Problem is that there is no cable to connect it to the mains, no inks and no instruction book. I’m in the U.K. and had to pay extra to have it sent from the USA. I have no record of the dealer so can’t ask them. Could you possibly tell me where, preferably in the U.K. that I can get the lead, inks and installation book. I would be very grateful for any help you can give me as I now desperately need to use it . Thankyou, kindest regards June
Can u show us how to use this 8035 scanning to email. Also need to know what happens when ink sits very long time in these newer printers - I only need 10 pages printed per year. Taking a taxi is too expensive. Estimate 20-$25 for 2 pages per taxi trip to library.
I like the idea that the ink level is connected for ordering, but what I really want to know is - is this printer an ink hog? My last HP, the Photosmart 6180 all-in-one lasted for 15 years. After the warranty was past I went to cheaper ink online since I felt we were swindled by high prices in stores and saved hundreds over the years. I just ordered this printer, so hoping it works as good and as long. Anyone had this printer for a while and have experienced its resilience and quality?
When I am on my desktop computer and trying to print a doc. it takes me to m desktop like I am trying to save it. I am trying to print it out. I just want to print. Can you give me any assistance?
There was a lot of explaining about many things but there was no explanation on how to fax, I cannot get my printer to fax anything..............can you give a brief lesson on the subject of faxing.
How come I can't seem to find this printer for purchase anywhere in europe? All i'm finding is the 8025 wich doesn't do the instant ink stuff and no usb port according to some websites. Is this printer for sale around the world? or only select parts?
How can you scan to email? I'm very frustrated! 🙁 My previous Hp printer could scan directly to email. This one only has buttons to scan to computer or USB. But other info says you can scan to email...🤔 How can I set that up?
I bought the printer, the setup was easy enough, but using ePrint via the email address is a total loss. I just don't get it. I send the email, HP says it was received, then nothing happens.
I started a comment and it is gone. I will write a shorter one. I am replacing my office jet pro 8600. Ink was almost $100 when I bought 4 at once. I bought 2 liquid tank printers. Could not get an Epson. Out of stock everywhere. I purchased a Brother & a Canon. Returned both. I am back to cartridge printers. This model in my price range. I just unpacked it today. I was glad to hear I do not have to download drivers or upload from a cd. I hope it last as long as the previous printer. I do not want to join instant ink. I did notice the ink price is less than my old ink so I can handle that. I did notice that the yellow ink was not available online and I wondered why. Do we only get extra ink if we join the instant ink group? This printer is not as flimsy as the Canon. I kept feeling like I was going to break it. I complained to the tech support about the noise and was told it was normal. There is a few videos for the noise. I was upset that my printer was not broken, it was normal to make this much noise. They allowed me to return it. The Canon I tried to stop shipping but could not. I read about absorber pads catching the ink overflow. What?? It could not be changed by me. I had to have them replaced by a repairman. Really? That would add to the price. As I said it is returned also. This is my 2nd HP and I hope it serves me well. I do not print as much as I did when working but I still wanted a good printer. Wish it had a slot for cards.
The 8 months of ink free didn’t happen for me. There was no code with my printer & after MANY phone conversations with an HP tech I gave up!! Very disappointed!
I had this printer for 13 months. It no longer prints blue. Discussed it with HP. They were not willing to help at all since it is past the 1 year warranty. This is now a discontinued printer.
I don’t understand this question. Doctors, PAs, lawyers, insurance agents, real estate agents, HR Counselors, office managers all fax documents multiple times every day. Particularly since “2020” with so many people working from home.
The printer ink Is a scam just because of that I won’t purchase one of these printers don’t get yourself locked into a pay for play game when they control the game
Buy the Epson ET-2750 or another printer of the series. No more cartridges that empty theirself with useless clesanup actions. No more bad prints if you don't use it often. No more HP inkjets for me.

how did the lawsuit end up? interesting story.

Can you print out photos? Will it be adjustable for different photo sizes? Thank you very much
I just purchased the same printer 2 months ago easy setup works great very happy with this printer!
Can I use it to print labels?

Literally just ordered this printer a couple hours ago. Great review
How do you like it?
Printing black and white pages? On your printer settings, switch "black and white" to "Black and white- Draft". This will save you your ink and money!
how bout envelopes? does it feed good?
Thanks, Andru! Would you know if I can print stock cards using this printer? Also, what is the maximum thickness of card stock that this printer supports? Thanks
Do you have to do the automatic ink order ? To use this printer or can you buy your own and still use the printer?
The printer of the future... sends fax.
hahaha thanks buddy, made me laugh :)
quick question, if i choose to not go with the ink subscription am i able to just buy a new ink cartridge from staples say and just replace it when im running low? or are the ink cartridges for this printer subscription exclusive
Thank you for this step by step video on this copier, I’m waiting on mine now 4-4-22, can’t wait. Have a great rest of your day
Looking for a printer. I like this one, does it have a duplexing future?
I just ordered this printer so I’m excited to finally be able to print at home again! :) Great review
How do you like it?
I have the 8025. It still works fine since my 16th birthday.
Excellent review, you pointed out a few features that other reviewers failed to do so. I will proceed to buy this printer thanks to your review……thank you for your time and effort.
Great info and delivery
Does it do duplex printing from the automatic document feeder without having to manually turn the pages over?
yes it does
Does it have a Bluetooth set up or does it only use WiFi?
Are sticker sheets compatible with this printer?
Not bad, they should also provide paper for the subs
Does it have where it will actually print something BLACK with the black cartridge, or does it use the color cartridge to make black?! I have that issue with both my HP and Brother printers.
It uses 3 color cartridges and a black cartridge, so I assume it will use only the black if needed.
What are the odds I almost bought this the other day. Went for one of their tank printers in the end (smart tank plus 570) but still looks to be a very good printer. Only ever used hp printers though, never found any fault with them (except when you try to contact customer services)
Does this printer support faxing?
Thank you for this, but can you do a demonstration on EPRINT plz.
Guys look for ink in ali express they are cheap i bought a full package all coulor for my printer for 10$ i used the ink and they are cool and didnt face any issues with them . Hopefully you have the same experience with them as main
hows it holding up
I don't trust anything from ali express, but glad you had no problems.

Is this printer good for printing stickers ? Iam using a cricut maker and need a printer that prints that type of paper.
Wondering the same. Each time I try to print either on printable vinyl or sticker paper the paper jams without any luck.
How to remove the old printer out of the list of devices in HP Support Assistant dashboard?
How to print color
Is this printer can make sticker?
Great info , thank you , I just got this same one thru Fingerhut very easy to set up ,

Ethernet might be the feature that makes me pull the trigger. My router is on the shelf above my desk. Wired is so much more reliable.
HP printers have done automatic ordering for ages
I love the shirt
I had to go back and play my own video to remind myself what I was wearing 😂

So many people asking questions in your comments without answers from the creator…
I had this printer for 13 months. It no longer prints blue. Discussed it with HP. They were not willing to help at all since it is past the 1 year warranty. This is now a discontinued printer.
who still faxes in 2020? heck who still faxed after the year 2000? lol
Troglodytes?
Some agencies such as signing mortgage papers require faxed signed documents in my case.
I don’t understand this question. Doctors, PAs, lawyers, insurance agents, real estate agents, HR Counselors, office managers all fax documents multiple times every day. Particularly since “2020” with so many people working from home.
I didn't know 4 years ago was the future
He stated it had been redesigned.

Buy the Epson ET-2750 or another printer of the series.
No more cartridges that empty theirself with useless clesanup actions. No more bad prints if you don't use it often.
No more HP inkjets for me.
