It says that with HP+ it Required to operate only with the Original HP Inc Cartridges. And without HP+ it says that Recommended. Can you tell if it makes sense to buy without HP+ to have an option to use not Original, and if there exist Not Original? Also not sure what instant ink means.

Boy do I understand you on this! Same problem. I solved mine by setting it up on my lap top to get my inks refilled. In my phone, it would not work for some reason. Parts of it got cut off. Now my lap top and phone both work flawlessly with the printer. So if you have a computer try that. I couldn't do it on my tablet because my tablet's age wouldn't let me.

I did troubleshoot and the manual say that I should ensure the cartridge's have SETUP written on them. They do not. It says to return to manufacturer but I'd rather find a way to override if possible. Any ideas?

Yeah, you do talk about yourself for a long time, eh? Anyway, no one talks about boxing the dang thing in it's original box, with the side protection on. There's a key to doing it . . . I'll leave it to these pro's to figure out and show people how to do it. I had to move and had kept the original box and side covers to do move the 8035 safely, just in case. But, when you try IT DOESN'T FIT! The paper tray is in the way. Huh? The original box is always the best was to move computer gear.
I don't have time to watch this video for his comments, but I have this printer and it's junk. Don't buy it. The ink ran out in two weeks with very few pages printed. It's constantly running maintenance cycles, it's noisy, and as of today I've been fighting it for an hour to get something printed. It has ink, it has paper, it says connected, but docs are sitting in the que.
Hp Another piece of junk sending it back now! Still the same clogging issue lucky I paid for warranty you would think by now the ink clogging issue would be resolved SMH

I'm pretty sure all printers can print on card stock. You need to go to settings and set it up for cardstock.

I cannot receive or send faxes. I believe I did not set up properly are you able to run through a setup re the fax part?

Did you sign up for hp instant ink? Some people had that issue when they didnt sign up or if they did and then cancelled.

Make sure you are using the right setting from your computer. You should be able to select the paper/ photo type (glossy for example).

I am Pi##ed. I have two HP printers on the same network. The new one, 8035 I can't keep it online. I wasted enough time on this GARBAGE!
