@@BombSponge you are so salty. It’s hysterical going through all the comments you’ve commented on.
@@jakel9030 No salt here. Loving the replies :D
@@BombSponge I have heard of all of them and love Porsche productshvaving owned quite a few over the years and own a 997 s at the moment...
Wonderful video and a special thanks to Andreas Preuninger for presenting the GT3 RS. Cheers from Charlotte, NC
Henry and Andreas. A good combo!
Porsche are practically wizards at this point. What they do goes beyond engineering and into the realm of magic.
I love the critique he gives "the italians" (we all know he means Ferrari) for using dry weight as their measurement. Porsche gives the wet weight of the car, when it's in a driveable condition, just like it should be!
@@gluca069just___it9 How lucky I am to have met a random person on the Internet who clearly knows better than Andreas ❤️
I love the level of technical detail. Andreas explains it so well!
Can't believe I'm saying this about an 180k car, but if you get this at list price, it's quite a bargain!
car flippers, here we go
Such an awesome dude. Love his passion for his work and his brands. Has to be a cool guy to work for.
Every time I hear a conversation with Andreas, it brings a smile to my face, and makes me appreciate Porsche that much more.
I love that it's enthusiasts trying to be enthusiasts, as best they can within government rules written by imbeciles.
You can tell Andreas really enjoys talking to Henry about his work. And we get this tour, and the details he discusses are things you wouldn't even imagine. He really wants Henry to enjoy the car when driven too. When you hear Andreas it really makes you want to buy the car knowing what's going in to it!
i can't get over the fact that this gt3 RS produces more downforce than the Senna, close to gt2 RS performance with 200 hp less
There were street legal models built on GTR platform. It maybe a few but I would argue DF is more because of wide body over standard Senna. How much DF I don't know but GTR was 1000kg. Street legal GTR models had smaller wing vs track car. DF could be similar or more to this GT3 RS.
"Oops we did it again." Brilliant introduction to the car. Thanks to Henry and the delightful Andreas Preuninger.
Makes a AMG black series look 10 years behind 🤣🤣🤣
An STO looks 20 years behind 🤭🤭🤭
Even Grandpa Gordon can take some notes. no 50 year old fan tech here
This thing is next level...🤯🤯🤯
Very Nice!! Tks @Catchpole and @Andreas!
The standard 992 GT3 is already very hardcore and track-focused, like the previous generation GT3 RS models used to be. So, I really don't know where Porsche is going to go with the 992 GT3 RS.
For track 😁
Finally. Thank you Mr. Preuninger for blessing the tracks with this beautiful beast.
Amazing engineering, great car I’m sure it will be amazing to drive. Not that anyone will find out because you won’t be able to buy unless you buy 2 beige Macans and even then you won’t get a build slot because some flipper will get and sell it straight away for £100k more than they paid for it to someone who unnecessarily accelerates away from every traffic light in west London.
or six different online influencers. I'm sure shmeeeeeeeee supercarblonde and so on and so forth will have no problems getting allocations.
@@nyc863 exactly. People like that have basically ruined the car market for normal people who’ve saved to buy a dream. That and the endless “you’ll never believe what this old (insert car model) car do” videos have hyped the used market for anything interesting.
This channel is absolutely the Apex of automotive journalism.
Can’t believe I’m saying this. But I think they went too extreme with aero this time around. Or at least, the integration of the aero is not what I would call elegant.
It’s a track car…..That you can also drive to the track.
If you want elegant, then the standard 911 GT3 Touring is the choice. You can't ask for "elegant" in the GT3 RS.
@@jryalls the more I look at it the more I like it. It always happens to me with new GT3’s. What I wrote was my first impression of the car. I have to agree once I heard it can generate faster cornering speeds than a cup car on slicks.
@@phammanh2689 well, all the previous RS’s have been extremely elegant as well as extremely track focused. This one is the first of the lineage that has gone full crazy racecar with the aero.
@@augustortiz You will have to exchange some "elegant" for aero efficiency, unfortunately. The old GT3 RS, very beautiful but didn't have great aero efficiency, the newest one did. Like i said, if you want both "aero" and "elegant", then the GT3 Touring or the standard GT3 would be the pick.
Henry, one of the best british car journalists and Andreas, the most sympathetic german petrol head from a sport division of a car company. A very good duo! BR from 🇩🇪
Incredible track car, unusable for the road. I'd go with a GT3 Touring personally
Why is it unusable for the road, they designed it to meet all road traffic regulations. It's no more radical than a Lambo, Ferrari, Pagani etc. I don't think anyone would use it as a daily driver but you could if you wanted
@@4Kandlez you must not drive stiff cars very often, my BMW is too stiff for most roads in sport plus let alone this thing
Yes indeed Mr Catchpole, I’m sold on this GT3, this is truly a special version for the Porsche connoisseur
And the rich Arabs and footballers who like to have a new toy for a while
@@4Kandlez Yes indeed, us mere mortals just drool up to a point, I have lived in Dubai and understand the opulence they enjoy.
too extreme for the street. no Trunk. I will keep my 2019 GT3 RS.
I guess u don’t have build slot 🤔
@@timeservices697 Nope.
Click bait, as soon as you see Henry and Andreas, one has to hit this youtube channel first. Great job gents.
As for Porsche, they have taken another massive leap with this RS, WOW!! What a true engineering masterpiece.
