You can rent time on a Porsche gt product. Though honestly, you really need seat time in a lot of other sports cars to really appreciate just how well put together and visceral they are. Why everything is so perfectly balanced. You need context. But if you have context... Spent the couple hundred whatever currencies. It's worth it.
@@lowstrife Thanks. Yea in my country there's nothing like that available.
My context unfortunately is none in sports cars. So yea, got to go step by step
What a beautiful piece of engineering. Every recent review of cars like this is bitter sweet. Because we know it’s almost the end.
Chris Harris can review a lawn mower and still manage to fill you up with emotions. His narration gives one goosebumps.
So he could review a Tesla and make it sound interesting then?
Yeah but you can not beat the original top gear host.
@@andyjarvisio5337 he could review a Tesla and it will sound Electrifying lol.
Could listen to Chris go on about cars like this all day, and that drifting at 13:47 was perfect!
I love how Chris forgot it's not a manual car (12:55)... It makes you understand how this car stilla has that "old style, carrera fun" feeling.
Olaa
Chris Harris possibly the best motoring journalist of his generation and I could listen to him talking authoritatively about cars until they are all electric, after that I’d just want to go to the pub and listen to him reminisce about his days racing and driving fast well balanced cars 😎👍🏻
Just listen to that 4.0 NA! That would never getting old!
They aren't developing it, that tells me it's coming to the end of its life span.
@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks they’re still technically working on ICE projects. Like the additive manufacturing systems making pistons and maybe, though probably not, blocks/crankshafts
The noise is bomb!
Really makes your spine tingle when he goes into full passionate mode for how the car drives, awesome vid Chris and film crew.
This is what car journalism should be all about. Great stuff Chris, answered all my questions about the 992 GT3 and more. What a machine!
Why am I getting all teary?! This review was just utter perfection from all the editing involved to Chris Harris’s pure passion.. Amazing!!!
I have a 2010 Panamera S and truly love this car. Previously, I owned a 2006 911S wich was great. But THIS car IMHO, is one of the all-time greatest 911. Yes, it is a dream car for me, although priceless. So, thanks Porsche and Chris for allowing me to vicariously live the dream for 19 minutes.
Chris getting melancholic about a new GT3. Almost brought a tear to my eye
Never clicked on a video so fast, Chris Harris in the new GT3, doesn't get any better than that..
This is the RUclips car review as art. No one does it better than Harris and his crew. Outstanding job.
I get emotional when Chris is talking about, that i could be one of the last in its breed and soon to be replaced and dominated by electric. Im so glad i was born in the 80's and could experience what real cars should be like...
Uau. Beaut. I’m 80”. Thanks for words.
I don't think internal combustion gets a monopoly on 'real' cars, electrics are just gonna be different
Chris & Neil proving they've still got it. Masters at their craft of getting us excited about cars. Oh ya, the 992 GT3 is pretty good too
Literally the one and only automotive journalist who can do the slides for the camera, thank you for this masterpiece Chris, thank you Porsche!
Germany did it again with this master piece
best top gear production ever, letting Chris do and say what ever he want
Chris just cracks me up when he gets into track focused Porsches. He’s like a little kid getting all giggly, lol. Eyes the size of dinner plates 👀, big a** smile on his face 😃, and his voice goes up an octave as he’s talking through each corner or describing the design of the parts and bits. Great stuff. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
I can't wait to see Chris in the T.50. His genuine excitement is always fun to watch.
One of the best motoring journalist reviewing one of the best street legal race car on road and track! Definitely worth the wait.
Chris if I don’t mind me calling U Chris u are one best car journalist and very at describing the feeling of the car thank you
This is the content we all want to see. This is the content Chris and Neil want to make. WE NEED MORE
Neil?
@@JoeIsOut2lunch Neil Carey, he’s the man behind all the camera work/production and editing. It was him who made all the Chris Harris on Cars stuff with Chris, which if you ask me is some of the best car content out there
I'm a huge Porsche-Fangirl so seeing Chris having fun with that beauty is like Christmas for me ^^
Or Hanukkah for me ;)
Or eid for me
Or Yom Kippur for me
One day I'll be the one having fun driving that piece of art ((:
@@caprise-music6722 Valhalla is heaven, not a celebration
I believe we should just sit back and appreciate in silence this outstanding shot 13:45 made by Chris and included in the film by the editors. This is a gift to both racing and filming industry!
Anyone else notice Chris a little emotional? Almost like he was full of joy and grateful for everything and wiped away a few tears of joy... Love this man!
i couldnt sleep after driving 911 4s, so I can imagine what he feels :D
i do. I suppose, he mentioned that those are probably the last petrol engines before electric cars coming.. May be that's why he looked emotional.
@@greatwhiteshark7395 lol
Love the "reality" of this video. It retains the high quality cinematography, but I also almost feel like im there and able to share the excitement of running in the car, waking up at the crack of dawn, heading to the shoot etc.
I felt the exact same thing man. Fantastic
i've been listening to Chris for some years. You are an unapologetic Porsche fan, and i don't blame you. what really is impressive however is your objectivity when you drive something different. Outstanding work. fun to watch and informative. keep up the good work!
I’m a simple man...I see Chris Harris power sliding on a thumbnail and I click
Back to the old style Chris Harris videos, loving it.
Best Porsche commercial ever )))
Cheers to all of you, Porsche lovers !!!
The only GT3 Review that matters to us👌
Henry makes also some great reviews
@@salemchayata2738 Yea him and Henry. 👌
its the fun side of the car it is Chris harris forte. but for detailed quirks and features there is doug. then for some mechanical features and alikes there is jason, then there is autocar and carfection for drama. waiting for watson for consumer review hahahaha
Chris, Henry and Iain Tyrrell. All really knowledgeable car people talking about and driving cars. Hopefully there will be enough of us who like this sort of content to encourage more of the same, and less of the other squeaky hyper excited rubbish the other lot produce...
Chris & Henry 🤘🏼🍻
This makes me so happy. Love this over those over produced cross country antic filled bits
Chris, You touch us with your emotional and reverent words that capture what other journalists miss. The SF90 video and this one are a perfect commentary on our times and what we may all be losing. Great video and thank you for what you do. The F40 is still the bad girl I wish I could bed, but the 911 GT3 (RS) is the wife I want to have for the rest of my life. Cheers!
Sum this up in one word: Pure.
