What we need is stig absolutely thrashing this car round the track and Clarkson announcing the lap time on the board
ı personally really enjoy Ollie's car reviews because his voice and excitements merging with the engine sound and exhaust noise and keeps the rythim up all time in the video!
One of the best things I’ve ever seen on RUclips. Epic
For me this is the best video that came from Top Gear in the last few years . Thank You
What a comparison, great content Top Gear!
I love seeing the side ways driving through the turns! You guys were really pushing those cars!
i am having so much fun watching. Can just imagine actually driving them. Awesome vid
It was interesting to see the differences between the GT3 and GT4 class cars. I race a 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport against other GT4 cars in a mixed class races with GT3 Cup Cars. The GT3 cars average about 10 seconds per lap faster than the GT4s at tracks like Daytona, Sebring and Watkins Glen, with similar skill levels of the drivers.
I 2nd this, I had a very similar experience as well. mainly between a gt4 and a 718 S.
New top gear trio idea: Ollie Marriage, Jack Rix, and Chris Harris and if not, Rory Reid. Job done.
I don't think I've ever seen you guys shook. This was FREAKING AWESOME!
That GT3RS is so purposeful and aggressive. It's one of my favourite looking cars of all time. It's just mean!
17:00 The 992 GT3 RS (6:44 - 20.6km, 6:49 20.832km) is quicker than the 991 GT2 RS Weissach lap in 2018 (6:47 - 20.6km) at the Nürburgring.
that’s nuts
And the Amg gt is faster than both
@@nlsdrf1290 it has over 200 hp and shitloads of torque more. It better should be. On the other hand, the 992 GT3 RS is among the elite with the highest lateral force of any street legal production car. Its lateral forces basically equal the AMG One and proper GT FIA cars.
@@nlsdrf1290 That was never the point of my comment.
@@BVZTIII torque makes no difference on a track. Because you’re always in a high rev range. Did you not know that? Basic knowledge
I check in here from time to time and I must say, this was good. Well done guys 🙌🏽
This was every bit as good as any Top Gear TV segment has been. Maybe some of the magazine staff should have been given a chance at hosting the show.
Every bit as good? No but decent all the same.
Very boring automotive journalism
Hard agree, I'd actually watch the main show if these 2 were on it instead of those other 2 nobs.
That danger: intake zone sticker on the cayman is kind of cool. Not sure if I’d leave it off or on but I won’t ever afford such problems anyways…🤷♂️ 😆 these car are both Incredible in my book. 👍
It’s not factory. Porsche don’t have a sense of humour…
@@Meadie69 Porsche has a tendency to REMOVE parts from their cars and then charge MORE for those models. I'd say that level of trolling shows a pretty good sense of humor.
I've been trying to figure out where to get a pair of those. I'd slap them on my 981 GT4.
You guys look like you are having WAY to much fun! ☺ You get PAID to do this??? 😁 SO much fun to watch as well. Thanks!
You guys have just made the best review of the year!
9:55, 10:46 Listen to that GT4 flat 6.
Gs on braking and cornering... great test! Please do more of those. Preferably with a VBox, Dragy or any other reliable tool that can make it repeatable and accurate, also would be great if both cars have the same kind of tires, you can even take 2 equal cars and test different tires brands.
Guys, Awesome video. Please make more like these...
Such a great video. The amazing cars help, but it's great to have two of you on as well
Playing with the best Porsche RSes, WHAT a job this is 😂❤️ I love them both, but I think I actually prefer the Cayman because it's mid-engined and smaller ❤️
Amazing video , I will say best video of latest and greatest GT cars from Porsche in close look.
私はこの比較を待っていました!!I love this video!!🇯🇵
Gotta love 718 front design, with 911 rear design
What amazes me is how Porsche has always managed to keep a car born 60 years ago at the top of the podium, with a particularity that everyone has decried since its birth: the rear overhung engine.
They've always done well, and make us dream with every new model, except perhaps the 996, with its myth-busting headlights, but it's been improved, very quickly !
Thank you, engineers, and above all, don't sell your soul to ecological good thinking ! 😉
I'd grab the GT4 RS any day over the GT3 RS. I don't care about numbers. It looks better. Sounds just as good (if not better) and is smaller.
Seems like Top Gear doesnt wanna do laptime challenge anymore.
i have to say - you are really good duo guys !
One of the best videos I’ve watched
Incredible pieces of engineering.
Re legislation of the rear wing: it doesn't extend beyond the end of the car, which is how they're managed it, similar to the Senna. If you look at a gt4 race car, their wings stick out beyond the rear of the car.
Great job on this production comparison test team. I'm proud of you. 🥇
Loving the supportive comments on the video and not just a horde of dullards blathering on about Clarkson, May and Hammond.
Not a fan of the new top gear
Been waiting for clips comparing these 2 head to head. 🤙🏻🏁
Puts drive tribe to shame this video on their current uploads. Really enjoyed that top gear 👍🏻
10:47 that sound of the gt4 rs ❤️🔥🤩
Both such amazing machines. I hope I can afford one some day. I do own a Porsche but it’s worth quite a bit less 😂
Probably one of the best youtube car reviews ever!!!!
More of this please.
GT3 RS incoming- can’t wait 🙌🏼
I never realized how much better gt3 lookd until they put them side by side
One of the best videos I have seen in ages
That's a win win test!
I just reviewed a GT3 and it blew my mind in just about every way. The RS takes it up to 12. Porsche are amazing!
Pretty awesome, the GT4 RS hung in there pretty good
It’s that 992 GT3 engine 🤙🏻🏁
I really like sounds when the 911 shifted the gear...ASMR!
This was epic brilliant production and two amazing cars but GT3 RS for me
Having stopped watching the TV show in 2019, it's nice to see the YT channel making what's basically a less contrived, more informed version of what the TV show used to be about.
Why aren't these two presenters on the TV show? Jack, Ollie and Chris Harris would make a very watchable show.
im in love every day for the gt4 rs
These 2 cars look for me like peak of gas powered cars...Great video!!! THX
this really stood out from the rest of the videos. So good!
That GT4 does sound nice 😍
The 991 was the first/only GT3RS I've ever driven and I smiled for 3 weeks afterwards. Either or both of the new RS cars... a slice of automotive heaven. I would gladly take either (but the price is crazy for both for the average person).
The new Top Gear is awesome!
Bring back Clarkson
That shot at 6:00 was something... wow!!!
That gt3 rs... what a time to be alive!!!!
Imagine the GT4 RS with the aeros and power of the GT3 RS. Would it be quicker?
I'd say that the answer should be obvious.
Should be
you forget about tires, that would make more of a difference than aero. in my opinion.
From what i saw in videos, the GT3 RS not only looks better, but with the exact same layouts with other GT RS`s its performance on race track is better. Some Porshce engineer explained how the air usage works in GT3 RS in a video. Nice to see when cool looking shapes actually work as they all should, and improves the cars performance by a lot.
I wasn’t aware the Cayman GT4 was so damn fast.😯
This is the RS version … so a bit more bacon than the ‘regular’ GT4.
I have a cayman S and I have destroyed a gt4 in a straight line from a stop and a roll start. now around the track I have been beat by a gt4.
I like the current top gear trio, but I wish Ollie and Jack were alongside Chris from the start
I love my GT4 RS
Can’t wait for mine! June…
First few seconds and the quality of this video is unmatchable
Very fast, High-revving, VW Beetles with wings on their backs.
Haha you must be the light off the party always.
Only one beetle there😊
When I saw this video hit my feed 2:47
