Nice review guys. I have a 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige, 2 years in I love it. I will wait a generation or two before taking the EV plunge, new battery technology will soon make today's EVs obsolete. The Genesis tech is ridiculous, there is a "rear" button on the climate screen to control the rear seat controls (kids playing in the back). The home screen has shortcuts/hotspots, areas you can press, I didn't even know until recently; press anywhere on the weather and it goes to the weather app, press on the time it goes to the time app, press on the music it takes you to the radio app, press on the right side it takes you to the nav screen, all from the home screen hotspots. The cargo cover can be stored under floor, smart design, the doors wrap around/under the sills, keeping them clean, all glass is acoustic, parking cameras can be set to automatically turn on for tight sports or in a garage, etc. Genesis belongs with the lux badges, add concierge service and best warranty in the business, they deserve a test drive, I dd, and bought on the spot.
Thanks for watching! It's such a nice car its crazy how good the Genesis GV70 is but getting the gas version at this time like you have makes more sense. It's significantly cheaper and you get much better range. Good call on waiting!
Man first of nice awesome review. You two are so coordinated. Next, the car is very cool. The range isn’t bad for me because i usually don’t go on long trips. The grill not looking great but the charging port is a nice way to make the grill useful. Overall good car
3 months into owning this car, enjoying the experience pf driving around in town with it; range of 270 to 280 miles on full charge; luckily found Super fast Electrify America Chargers. Let's see how it does in the cold winters... any tips on best practices for charging battery?
Very good review... I agree with you, great vehicle, let down tremendously by the poor range. If they could add 20% to the battery size, and perhaps offer the car with 19" wheels VS. the 20's, this car could be / would be a leader in the segment.

Does the regular GV70 Prestige package come with the quilted leather seats too?
You can "lock" the back seat HVAC controls on the main front panel, settings.
What do you guys think of the Genesis GV70?

This car is mostly a commuter car for me, so the range hasn't been an issue for me personally. And I only charge it to 80%.

Definitely pre heat the battery and usually I don't charge past 80-90% unless I'm taking a long trip.
@@Worththewatt All of which is easy to set up in the menu.
Hey again you were talking about the fact that the infortament screen is way back. Can you fully navigate everything with buttons?
Yup! The scroll wheel also can be pressed to activate something on the menu. It just takes a bit longer than touching
Thanks
Sunroof open a bit?
I wonder how reliable it is

Thanks Barry! Ya it’s too bad I love everything about it but the range.
@@Worththewatt Many reports of Genesis getting the claimed range, and more.
800 volt charging is for charging twice as fast as longer range cars (except the electrified G80.
Yay❤❤❤❤
they should put a seat lock so kids can't move the front seats
I agree it's too easy for them to annoy the front passenger and driver
not a big fan of the front grill
Ya it makes it look a bit cheap
Stretch for the screen, such first world problems🙄🙄
Its distracting when you're driving is the point. When you're stopped its not a big deal
@@Worththewatt … Maybe don’t use it while driving😉😉
Joking aside I personally don’t see it as an issue 👍🏻👍🏻
No range... No way
