I think this is the perfect EV if you’re able to charge at home!!
I have owned my GV70 electric for almost a year. We drive with eco mode on all the time. When we charge it up, we get between 270 and 282 miles of range consistently. We have calculated by hand and the range is true.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
I'm getting about 290 ish doing 90 percent in suburban streets too.
270 miles or 3.5 miles per kWh, combination of highways and city. In winter, cold weather, goes down to the advertised range of 236 miles or 3.05 miles per kwh. Boost button works in eco mode too, but never use it as more than enough power in eco mode. For white leather, use leather ceramic coating to protect it. Few gripes. Very annoying dark triangle for headlight that is safety feature to prevent oncoming drivers from being blinded, but that black triangle is even with low beams. Also annoying is no touch handles in rear door and front touch handles are slow and not as responsive as BMW I had. The mobile app is very bad and does not give proper range figured and always overstates the power you get from the regeneration. The executions is awesome, but some things they can focus on more. The sounds for the indicator lights are the same ad cheaper Hyundais and the door handles do not have that hefty, solid feel from German products. This is contrast to the awesome and solid feel of the interior controls. These small things are what owners notice. But Genesis beats the Germans in luxury and design aspects. Seats are amazing and better than BMW seats my miles. It has an excellent, restrained technology vibe. No overload of screens that strain the eyes like an Audi products. Speaking of build quality, I have rattle in my driver door that had not yet been fixed by the dealer. Finally, use the holder for rear seatbelts to stop distracting sounds over bumpy roads. Don’t mind the wired CarPlay, but do mind that the physical buttons for returning back to the main infotainment menu are not intuitive (the “home” and “menu” buttons in front of the rotary nob) and do not consistently work.
Excellent video guys.
Good review. I own one since june 2023 and I´m very, very happy with it. The audio system is great and in combination with the quietness inside it is real luxury. The acceleration is pretty strong and best it is if you accelerate e.g. from 50 - 80 mph. Although the overall character is not too sporty you feel very safe even at top speed, which is 240 km/h (= 150 mph).
Greetings from Germany
Genesis has a 13 month lease this month for the ELECTRIFIED models. Per Genesis offers website, Advanced trim of the gv70 Ev is 499/ month, 3999 down for 10k miles. 😮 I got 9500 cash back ("EV Lease Bonus") for the 13 months gv70 lease, now there is a 17500 cash back for the 36 month gv70 lease, cutting down another 100 LESS monthly compared to what I got.
The Gv60 advanced is 469, gv60 Rwd is 379 (same 3999 down) but only max 11000 EV Lease Bonus from Genesis.
Excellent video!😸
It’s very nice, I like the glass shifter and boost button
Great job & this Genesis EV SUV is my choice.
Got mine April 2023, one of the first 70 sold in the USA.
Beautiful Genesis. Hyundai is doing great
Is it me, or should the gear shift knob and the infotainment knob swap positions? Seems like you’d use the latter more often than the former while driving and want it within casual reach.
Maybe if it was cheaper, yeah
But at least it looks nearly identical to the standard GV70
love the color too
Looks great but I'll wait a few more years before jumping to EV.
The 3.5T V6 is more appealing right now. 👍
Driving range ins’t as robust as others EV SUVs, lack wireless connectivity. Don’t think a price of $66K+ is justifier. Great Video👍
Thanks!
I wish more cars offered that green
Federal EV tax credits income limits. Single and married filing separately: $150,000. Head of household: $225,000. Married filing jointly: $300,000. You don't need any tax liability as you can transfer the credit to the dealer. These change once a decade or so. Not all the time. If you are over the income limit the leasing company may give some or all of the credit in the form of a price reduction if you lease the EV.
We were not referring to the income requirements but the complex battery chemistry formula, which has changed 3 times since IRA was passed. That's what truly determines if you get $7,500, $3,750 or $0 in tax credits
Can you compare the Genesis gv70 with the GV60
Wish they had sport styling in this ev
First ❤❤❤❤❤
How do you feel about Kentucky's new b-ball coach from BYU? Excited? Or disappointed?
Hopeful, I'd say. We shall see what he can do!

That car is too quiet cause it’s electric!!!! Y’all know I keep my boo under wraps and I can’t be having him sneaking out in no electric car to clap thots left and right!!! So this car is no no from me boo boo!!!!!!
No…no you shouldn’t
You should never buy an electric car ...not better for the environment and much more costly. I see no benefit other than instant torque. VERY HIGH insurance cost...Higher electric bills and longer time to charge...FORGET about road trips. These things are proof that society has gone dumb.
