At some point Anton had enough with him and added the golden, fully automatic 1911, with a slide spanning an entire meter. Technically it is an extended slide 1911, it's just a lot longer than usual.

I'm a bit surprised Jonathan wasn't shown the source material for the pump action MP5. It's based on the gun used in the intro cutscene of Shadow the Hedgehog, where he loads an MP5 by pulling back on the foregrip.
I would love if you guys would do another video on h3vr not just looking at the ridiculous weapon say the added but just take a look at some of the newer stuff that they've added and improved since the last time you've covered it if you all do decide to do that idea I suggest you wait like another month or two because they're currently doing a lot of work on the model specifically revamping all of the M4 pattern rifles in the game and stuff around those lines

I mainly want to see Jonathan's thoughts on the historical stuff that doesn't appear in other games. The other episodes are cool but they focus too much on guns that appear in plenty of games already, when H3VR has a heap of rarities you wouldn't see in any other game.
Fun fact: The pump-action MP5's in-game name (I think) Is called the MP5 Shadow, because it's a goofy reference to the Shadow the Hedgehog game where he literally pumps a machine gun like it's a shotgun.
It’s enjoyable seeing him for most of this series analyzing guns in games trying to be as grounded as possible to their real life counterparts, and now analyzing guns that are not even trying to.
Every time I see the super sawn-off shotty, all I can think of is what my friend said after watching that scene from Killing Them Softly: "That's not a shotgun, that's a melee weapon."
I've never played this game, or even seen it in action. Just seeing the "Whizzbanger" loaded had me completely lose it. I couldn't stop laughing at the idea of someone using a little tinkerer's hammer to strike a firing pin...usually "hammer" is a little less literal in guns. It's just brilliantly beautiful in its sublime absurdity.
The whizzbanger actually has some pretty neat and creative interactions in game, allowing for it to be fashioned into some kind of rifle with a trigger
For the hammer-fired single-shot .50 cal, the case would absolutely blast backwards, rocketing out of the rings toward the hammer, taking the firing pin with it.

One time I asked for hand tracking with my new index controllers but make the fingers sausages, and he did just that, and now I'm forever horrified.
The guy was so committed to suggesting a long slide 1911 that he submitted a bug report video that ended by showing a target with "long slide" written in bullet holes.
I'm a bit surprised Jonathan wasn't shown the source material for the pump action MP5. It's based on the gun used in the intro cutscene of Shadow the Hedgehog, where he loads an MP5 by pulling back on the foregrip.
when the mp5 pump action was shown jonathan looked like "what have they done to my boy?!". poor jonathan, we love you :D
Jonathan looks like some kind of Bond villain with all these guns in the back, boss chair and time machine in the back
4:04 ima force of nature
I would love if you guys would do another video on h3vr not just looking at the ridiculous weapon say the added but just take a look at some of the newer stuff that they've added and improved since the last time you've covered it if you all do decide to do that idea I suggest you wait like another month or two because they're currently doing a lot of work on the model specifically revamping all of the M4 pattern rifles in the game and stuff around those lines
this is their third H3VR vid iirc
@@H31MU7yes it is although if you recall those videos are from 2 years ago and this isn't your ordinary AAA game or anything like that h3vr is actually in active development and has changed quite a lot in that time span with new weapons old ones improved and so on just go check out the developers yotube channel
I mainly want to see Jonathan's thoughts on the historical stuff that doesn't appear in other games. The other episodes are cool but they focus too much on guns that appear in plenty of games already, when H3VR has a heap of rarities you wouldn't see in any other game.
@@Nevarc I agree and I would like to see a deeper dive into the weapons like that as well and it would help the dev some as well
7:23 my soul immediately left my body as soon as i saw this. i have the game and i used that weapon and i NEVER knew you could put a suppressor on it.
Fun fact: The pump-action MP5's in-game name (I think) Is called the MP5 Shadow, because it's a goofy reference to the Shadow the Hedgehog game where he literally pumps a machine gun like it's a shotgun.
Thank you for your patience, Jonathan.
It’s enjoyable seeing him for most of this series analyzing guns in games trying to be as grounded as possible to their real life counterparts, and now analyzing guns that are not even trying to.
Have to appreciate Jonathan's relief upon seeing the M249/M2 hybrid, something that at least would plausibly work.
Thanks for the good laugh Jonathan, really made my day, your commentary on this insanity of a game is just hilarious and delightful
Jonathan needs his emotional support MP5 increasingly more for these segments.
Every time I see the super sawn-off shotty, all I can think of is what my friend said after watching that scene from Killing Them Softly: "That's not a shotgun, that's a melee weapon."
4:38 It's so cut down it's not even a Felony anymore it's a crime against God.
11:45 such wholesome joy on his face, let us protect this man.
You know you've gone very, VERY deep when you have to reach for an emotional support STEN.
Is that the pump-action MP5 Shadow the Hedgehog uses in the intro to his game?
you betcha, its even called the mp5 - shadow
Oh no, not the pump action MP5... that is just nuts and also perfect, I love it
That was so much fun. Someone get poor Johnathan his emotional support weapon.
Man needs an emotional support armory.
ESWs are restricted though
2:09 love that Shadow the Hedgehog reference
10:37 the comedic timing of the last off beat sound is amazing
This series never let me down ❤
This one was hilarious, I was grinning ear to ear the entire time. The Baby's first boomstick was the best one.
Ahhh Johnathan. Your pain is endless entertainment for us all!
Anton is a true maniac, and we love him
2:25 you broke Jonathan!
The whizzbanger actually has some pretty neat and creative interactions in game, allowing for it to be fashioned into some kind of rifle with a trigger
I am sorry for poor Jonathan. I hope he's okay.
For the hammer-fired single-shot .50 cal, the case would absolutely blast backwards, rocketing out of the rings toward the hammer, taking the firing pin with it.
