Boxing Workout for Seniors

- This boxing-inspired workout for seniors and beginner exercisers will strengthen the upper body and core, while providing calorie-burning cardio at the same time.
The workout consists of two rounds of 5 exercises, each 20 seconds:
- Forward Punches
- Overhead punches
- Upper Cuts
- Hooks
- Side Punches
Do them at your own pace and build up speed to burn more calories.

Today I decided to go a bit easier since yesterday I did some walking workouts and ramped them up. Legs feeling sore today. Did this and 10 mins boxing workout then some stretching and yoga. You are very right April when you say listen to your body❤. I have to say watching Aiko in the earlier videos to now she looks like she is aging backwards. ❤❤

This was my "new to me" workout for Friday, Feb. 23, 2024. I used it as the cardio follow-up after about 20 minutes of exercises focused on upper and lower body strength. I found it to be a great "quickie" cardio workout that I would definitely want to use again.👍🙂

I love doing your exercises I’m a 61 year old lady and started doing Muay Thai punching roundhouses forward kicks uppercuts ect only to train not in the ring lol but sadly I can’t get there anymore as they’ve moved but I will definitely carry on with your exercises ❤

I grew up long ago in the South. I lady would never fight, nor would she often stand up for herself. I woundered if I could even do this workout. It was so fun and made me feel so powerful. Thank you for a brand new experience!

I did core exercises -arm tone up and the boxing for the first time love it I have been trying different exercises and so far love them all have a good day and a better day tomorrow

I had a life threating blood clot that I had to live thru. By the time ( months) I recovered I found I had to learn to walk again. At 73 It's hard. My daughter found me chair yoga. THANYOU!!!

I haven't done this routine, but have done#2 quite a few times. I happen to truly enjoy boxing and always deliver fast and hard punches to obtain the most out of the cardio benefits. Although routine #1 is shorter, it delivers a "wallop" and is great to tuck in here and there on days when I string shorter exercises together. This was fun!
