1st chair percussionist on this piece back in 2010 as a senior in HS. It was TOO much fun playing this as well as learning it. Im glad to see that there are others that enjoyed playing and learning this piece as much as I had, and for those who have yet to play it...you are in for a hell of a ride

Middle school band.... This song brings back so many memories... I wasn't the best player in my band. I was always the slop of the crop, and you know what? That's what made my Middle school years more memorable. I had more of an adventure being at the bottom than I ever had being at the top and now that middle school is over, I regret that I didn't take more pride than I did. Bass Clarinets too, it's so sad I just want a solo or something! so it inspired me to write a song where every part of the low end of the band would get a solo or melody! It's such a shame though! Pretty instruments (low brass and reed) make pretty sounds and need to be heard! 😂

If I understand what you were saying, I was third chair clarinet. If not, I was B flat clarinet 3. This and Hooroosh! by Ralph Ford were my favorite songs from music class in secondary school (I believe it's grade 7 to 11 in the rest of North America).

I am a French horn player so let me explain, in the song most of the clarinets at my school have part 3 but like the first 3 chairs have part 2 with trumpets and all of the French horns have part 3 with the clarinets so we play everything they play
