I loved all of your dresses. I'm in the U.S. I love wearing dresses in the hot weather too. I discovered bike shorts this year and they are wonderful for wearing under dresses. I no longer feel sweat dripping down my legs. It has been over 100 F for 2 months with no rain.

@@Helenmaryjo I've never been to the UK, and I think it would be wonderful. This heat is even hot for us natives. You just time all of your outdoor activities for the morning. Texas has forests, mountains, beaches, plains; it's just spread far apart.
You manage to make everything look so expensive!! All dresses looked fab in you, shame about the Polka one. And chub run shorts, what an absolute life save they are! The M&S ones in all colours are such a necessary staple in my wardrobe xx

Asda sell a baby liquid talc that works quite well on preventing chub rub. It might be cooler than the shorts for the really hot days, although I'm not sure how often it would need re-applying :)
Thanks for that Chris. I don't find the shorts too hot, in fact, I think they help with th heat. I've ordered some from Jockey today, so it will be interesting to see what they are like x

I used to use baby liquid talc, it was fabulous for chub rub. Sadly, I now live in Germany and cant buy it or anything like it. 💐💐

So agree Helen, M&S anti chaff shorts have saved my life,and I can wear lovely light dresses in hot weather. However my three sisters don’t wear or need them and they are shocked that I love them 😊

I loved the first dress, the square neck line dress and the red one, if I were to choose a favourite. You suit them all. It’s good that you found a solution to your painful legs rubbing together. That must hurt! I’ve had it before and I only used Talcum powder, but eventually it wears off. But once again, you have chosen the best dresses! Great video!!

I think we have lots to thank the internet and social media for - one being chub rub shorts! Like you I never used to wear dresses without tights but now - freedom! I buy them from Amazon. They may ride up or be a bit long but they’re as cheap as chips so they’ll do. So refreshing to see people solving these age old problems.
I follow another lady like you. Down to earth and wearing plus size (hate that expression) clothes. Cannot be doing with these stick thin young influencers. Love your chats. Fluff your dog from me!

The second green one with the square neck really suits you (I also like the red one). Just a tip with square necklines and the bra dilemma as I have the same problem. Use those teensy safety pins (like you would use for a wedding corsage) and pin the bra strap to the inside of the dress shoulder, slightly forward for comfort do shoulder bag straps won't dig it. Or, those ribbon straps for keeping it on a hanger; if it's sewn right on the edge you can wind it around your bra strap making sure it ends up hanging towards your arm, not your neck. It stops everything slipping about and helps you feel more secure and confident.

I like the red shirt waister, as I’m not keen on the flouncie hemline. The Dottie one too although it was too small. I had shorts & t shirts from new look years ago and the quality was great.

Hi Kaz - thank you- I have a king size quilt and wash it in a regular washing machine, you just have to ‘feed it in to the drum’ if you know what I mean. X

I did enjoy the chat and have felt the pain of chub rub during summer heat, I bought lace trimmed long underwear whilst on a cruise and I don’t care who sees it! But it is a must!

I wear chub rub ladies knickers which are lovely you get them online and they come in cotton with some lace if you like etc ❤ x

Hi oh the chafing, I remember going to Spain with all the girls in the family , I was the only one to take talc powder which works for me and cooler than wearing anything else, all the girls used it too lol. New sub here we're the same size also 5'6:" with short legs lol . Glad I found you ❤️
It's such a lovely feeling being able to wear whatever. I found that talc didn't last long enough for me. At least with the legged pants it's sorted. xx
Binge watching your try ons now 😂. Aren't sizes crazy. The last spotted one is a beautiful dress and the colour really suits you, pity about the size. You mentioned in a later vlog about Matalan sizes being a bit hit and miss and you are so right. I tried on a size 14 blouse which felt a bit tight around the tum and then a different style in a size 10 (and I'm most certainly not a size 10) and it fitted perfectly. Bizarre.

Love New Look. They have great dresses and tops. With regard to chub rub which I have, why don’t you try the Simiya long briefs as shorts. They are like mini leggings. So comfortable! Plus you wouldn’t be embarrassed if anyone sees them. Look on Amazon, there are other brands, they are just the ones I have.

I feel just like you. But a company called box 2 ,sell amazing linen clothes,have Liana which are just Lacey cuffs to put over the thighs,,not attached to knickers.black or neutral

I think I replied to you but now I can't find it. I do have a king size coverless duvet that I use in the cabin and I can wash it in the machine, you just need to make sure you feed it right into the machine, if you know what I mean. x

I put them in a standard washing machine, and I have king size, you have to kind of feed them into the machine, but it does work.
