Could you make a video using a7ii with a Tamron lens and use your intelligence on making a great video and pictures on a walk?please thanks for all your hard work.😊
simply not buying canon from a tech point of view , why would a high tech camera not be able to do the most simple of tasks, for the horse power they have i expected them to not limit me that much
I bought three nikon j1 to make infrared, but one came in this three piece leather case. You were supposed to get off your horse, grab the neck satchel and undo the speedo nozzle to snap Antonio bending over. It says so in the beauty profile section of the manual. So I got three 16 gb 50mbps SD cards for 20$ bucks, or you are not allowed to use the lens. Which was totally craptastic on all but one camera, like it was really really only one for pictures. But if you want to cool your house, i had all my vapes in the nifty trays i glued together. A hella cheapo big mod magnetic field is super strong, i guess they know alot about magnets, like why do chinese know pps samsung charging? I guess a rep comes buy from the symposium. Just make rows of north south magnets on the ceiling as close as possible. As long as he knows each row is north south, he doesn't care at all about touching adjacent charges. Like if you put three two dollar vapes around a cheepo fatty, they are three times as repulsive. Gonna do that to my refrigerator general. Lol
I have the same issues with my R8! I was even going to upgrade to the R6II, But, nope. Why spend the extra money to have the same problems? I have a nice gaming PC, and it still can't handle HDR PQ or C Log3! Shooting in standard 4k 30, my R8 and 90D fill memory cards like crazy. I can record hours of 4k video on my Pana G95, still have room left! Come on Canon! Get your act together. I am avoiding the Sony Reptilians as long as I can... But can't resist their appeal too much longer...
@@thebentzenablePanasonics never overheat, so that's already a win. But you'll have to focus manually in video unless you spring for the G9II or the S5II, so keep that in mind. @@yawningmarmot Thank you 🙏, I come from the S5 and Lumix FZ1000 so I have never used autofocus for video 😃 I hope to start using that with the R8. But I have some old manual primes with a M4/3 adapter on them, and I really miss the M4/3 system on my walks in nature 😊🤞
@@thebentzenable Well, since you have old manual glass, I think you shouldn't have a problem pulling focus :) Just keep in mind that the G90 crops in when shooting 4K about 1.25 times. So if you want cleaner 4K, it might be better to get a used GH5 or G9, if you can find one for a good price.
What if there was an option (other cameras, listen to this too) to hold the WB button to engage custom WB mode (take a shot of your grey card)? Now, pay me money!
I found on my Canon R6 that of I used EF lenses with Image Stabilized lenses that the IS would stay on non stop and if I turned the IS off on the lens it would also turn of the IBIS off. And others have noticed this as well. And all I can think is Canon does this on purpose to wear out EF lenses. Maybe or maybe not but certainly they could fix the problem with firmware. After learning this and testing 6 IS lenses and all stayed on they whole time. It was enough to push me into Sony and ditch Canon after 20 years of use.
This is not news. Canon IBIS has always been controlled by the lens, except for lenses without IS. This goes back to DSLR days, when there was lens IS only.
@@JohnDrummondPhoto no on my DSLR it would only activate when you half press the shutter. It does the same on my Sony when adapted. Only turns on when half press shutter. Where as on IBIS EOS R camera, it stays on constantly. Like as long as the camera is on. There is lots about this problem on Reddit and such as well. Its a easy software fix that they seem to know about but don't fix it. Which really sucks as I spent probably $10k on EF L lenses in the 2010's.
@@classic.cameras I have an R5 and R6, both set to back button focus. IBIS invokes when I hit the focus button but not before. Same with IS on the 5D Mark IV I owned previously. I suggest you check your button settings. IS shouldn't be on just from turning on the camera.
Just remember the menu could always be worse could be like Fuji… I still don’t know why there isn’t an auto subject detect mode for all modes besides full auto on X-S20
By the way you have not tried it but the Tamron 35mm EF is far better than the Canon or Sigma EF 35mm. Check the reviews. It is my favorite lens. Open your frozen Canadian brain.
The colors from Nikon, Panasonic and Sony look better than the ones from Canon in my opinion. R8 is small and light but their light cheap lenses are hopeless. The images look flat. Sony 7c with Sony/Zeiss 35mm 2.8 and 55mm 1.8 are all I need.
What ? Are they still doing that take a picture thing for WB? That was the way it was done on the EOS 10D....that I purchased in 2003! more than 2 decades of that BS, lol
My work gear is Nikon. My personal gear is all Canon. Nikon sucks and I hate their menu system. The one thing I am really asking for Canon to change is their folder naming in-camera. This isn’t 1980, I should be able to name folders anything I want.
I had this problem with Canon full frame cameras where I had no money. Now Canon has helpfully solved this issue by making the 6D cheaper and causing me age into dust. 2019 was last year, not 5 years ago, therefore I'm getting a good deal on a 6D now, which is a contemporary camera for up to date people like myself. (Does feel weird to trade an X100S for a nice full frame camera (with swappable focussing screen) and actually get money though.)
What is a Canon camera? Sounds dangerous and over heats when you turn it on? They use mind control on people who critique their products? I never owned a Canon. As a Pentaxian, we have enough to deal with. I can't imagine dealing with a Canon problems. Great channel and rants! The light in the bookcase sold me!
WB on canon mirrorless sucks BUT, you don't need to fill the frame with the white card. There are tests that have been done. It still SUCKS and when you have dual card slot and have allocated video to one and stills to the other, that pic you took as a photo is not available once you switch to video mode for the custom WB change, which just sucks just a bit harder.
Ha, MS-DOS math.... I remember using MS-DOS... It sucked although at the time you didn't know any different possibility. You'd think all of these camera companies would have user panels to test and refine the user experience instead of letting it up to techie engineers who never touch a camera. Nice rant today!! Have a great Friday!
What i need in the new R5II: 12.4+ stops of dynamic range, oversample 4k 60, 10 Bit without using log, Clog2, full size HDMI, false color, WB from the C70. Dont care about 8k at all.
Instead of an over heating warning they should flash an ad for their cinema cameras that gets progressively bigger as it gets hotter. We get it you are punishing us for not buying your dedicated video cameras. But it's funny that a company who is the industry leader who has been making video cameras for how long, designs interfaces that don't make sense. That white balance thing I encountered over a decade ago. I still think it's their way of push you to buy their dedicated video cameras. We will make your life so miserable with our hybrids that you'll either lose your mind or upgrade.

I may be in the market for a decent DSLR but would be wary of "features" like these. And not just with Canon either. I have a couple of DJI cameras, and the menu systems on those are very good indeed. Somewhat spoiled by that.
Awesome video, thanks, but I think your white balance was off. Your t-shirt looked somewhat orange.
i see the 3d pop, U used the tshirt. use the red one and make the bg more white, for even mode 3d pop
Five minutes into this I actually got an eye twitching headache and remembered why I’m so happy being an Olympus / Fuji shooter. 😊
Same
yeah their OS is def in need of assistance for sure . like half the stuff in the quick menu on the screen I've never used why can we modify the quick menu list to add in the stuff we change regularly instead of having to go back to the menus? and why can t we put in a custom mode section in there that can have endless custom modes ?? its just bloody software its not taking up space and wouldn't need to change dial then . and def that custom white balance would be perfect there. this is why camera companies need to team up with smart phone companies to learn how to fix their OS . imagine a quick link page that opens up app like index with all the stuff you need straight from that page like a phone be so good
Brother I use Canon Cameras also and I can't stand this feature with the WB
Could you make a video using a7ii with a Tamron lens and use your intelligence on making a great video and pictures on a walk?please thanks for all your hard work.😊
Wow someone woke up a little grumpy today, maybe someone needs a Sony enema 🤣🤣🤣
12 hours- well you could go sleeping, then go shopping and eating and IT OVERHEATS! so saying it overheats in 12 hours helps you planning forward ...
Hilarious lol how about 1 for Sony and Nikon. I enjoyed this.
I get the same warnings when I'm about to enter certain locations on the web. I know the risks. Let me in.
So damn good!
simply not buying canon from a tech point of view , why would a high tech camera not be able to do the most simple of tasks, for the horse power they have i expected them to not limit me that much
I bought three nikon j1 to make infrared, but one came in this three piece leather case. Lol
Perhaps are these flaws just workarounds to avoid infringing patented better solutions?
I told my wife my dream her response I watched too many (camera conspiracy ).😊
Why don’t you have an S5 ii or a Xh-2s? I sold my r8 because the overheating thing was so annoying.
Panasonic and Fuji are the answers to the Canon, Sony and Nikon madness
I just got a good deal on the Lumix G90/G95. Can you recommend it for video? I am filming in nature. Saving up for the R8 too. Thanks
@@thebentzenablePanasonics never overheat, so that's already a win. But you'll have to focus manually in video unless you spring for the G9II or the S5II, so keep that in mind. Also I'm not sure that the G95 has the linear focus feature (even the original GH5 doesn't). If not, manual focus is gonna be a pain.
@@thebentzenable Well, since you have old manual glass, I think you shouldn't have a problem pulling focus :)
Just keep in mind that the G90 crops in when shooting 4K about 1.25 times. So if you want cleaner 4K, it might be better to get a used GH5 or G9, if you can find one for a good price.
Just buy your Nikon Z8 now mate
Every mode should be a custom mode.
Just remember the menu could always be worse could be like Fuji… I still don’t know why there isn’t an auto subject detect mode for all modes besides full auto on X-S20
@@johnfragos7660 only my ZV-1 with the older Sony Menu is worse. Ha
Sounds like downstream effects of US Patent Law.
I haven't had a Canon since the Digital Rebel (2003). Doesn't look like I'm missing much.
Hi
+1 on custom modes!
This could be the equivalent to Fuji simulations, and more custom presets to work like a film recipe.
After using Canon and Sony cameras, I’ve encountered way more overheating on Sony, the R5 literally doesn’t overheat anymore either.
Long time since I used a Canon, but it sounds like they don’t have a solid ground for their camera OS, just patching things on as they go…
Confirms S5iiX is the way to go
May your images be as sharp as your hair
as plants u can get some areca for better air filtration at night. the areca makes fresh oxygen at night
Im not giving them the chance, moving back to Sony, never thought Id say that
Ha, MS-DOS math.... I remember using MS-DOS... It sucked although at the time you didn't know any different possibility. You'd think all of these camera companies would have user panels to test and refine the user experience instead of letting it up to techie engineers who never touch a camera. Nice rant today!! Have a great Friday!
Magic Lantern solves all of this.
Unfortunately in a perfect world, it wouldn’t have to exist.
Canon owns the camera market, they will never change
The only company I've seen where they started off easy to use and every iteration is more nonsensical.
What i need in the new R5II: 12.4+ stops of dynamic range, oversample 4k 60, 10 Bit without using log, Clog2, full size HDMI, false color, WB from the C70. Dont care about 8k at all.

Panasonic has better autofocus 😂. Hard pass for Nican
@@lewcehjitl3282 From experience I must assume…..
@@lewcehjitl3282¿? No way. The latest Nikon cameras have better AF than Panasonic. Mostly for photography. In video is near the same
@@chipsrafferty8362 yes also Jared Polin confirmed Nikon is light years behind in autofocus.
It's not a problem... It's a feature!
I haven't owned any Canon cameras in about a decade. Phew!
We will make your life so miserable with our hybrids that you'll either lose your mind or upgrade.
another hot White Balancing tip - if you shoot tethered using the EOS Utility, in Live View you can click on anything on the screen to set custom white balance. You're welcome. ruclips.net/video/bg2U2vxBir8/видео.htmlsi=520RcZYJvo382enn&t=527
The spite of this video is so hilarious as it is...
You started this video by saying sony a7siii hahahahaha and then canon blah blah blah....
If I was an employee of Canon watching this video I would have been swallowing the end of a barbed wire, pulling it out of my poo poo hole and flossing my career out of my soul... Then buy a osmo pocket 3 with a mist filter (from freewell of course)... Cheaper...
Love your content...
Come visit me in Namibia...
Please don't stop being funny...
get a xiaomi 14 & tell us how wonderful it is..better buy a findx7ultra as well to make a real comparison..canon umm maybe a gx7
Pentax UI is the best.
I’m sticking with Sony for now.
Canon should write you a huge check that bounces and causes your bank charge you $25 that you have to convert from CA$ at a currency exchange
This is what you get when engineers designing UI
If I had a Canon I would change the owner.
Am I the only one who wants canon to make a full frame RF mount camera that I can record 5k 1000 fps and a usable dynamic range?
I wouldn't buy Canon camera's, because they're not made by Sony. Fix it, Canon.
