Your channel is also such a joy to watch. You're out and about, using cameras, watching people, enjoying yourself. I think that's what most of us want. So many building channels around spec sheets, filmed in ridiculously over lit bedrooms and look way too serious doing it! 😂

Toneh is a fabulous word and you deserve the credit. If other camera channels dislike you, it could be that your two channels bleed into each other. There may have been non-camera content that upset people a couple of years ago.

She may have laughed at it for all you know. You don't know the relationship this guy has with his wife, or what he or her is actually like. You're assuming a great deal, and it says a lot about you.

Toneh video is the one that made me subscribe to your channel, and i do not regret it, i appriciated the story about the e-scooter that was almost stolen from you and learnt how to make my sony fdr3000 images look better... simple channel, with simple content, some jokes from time to times, that's what we love, not channel with exclusively disgised adds, with only sponsored content like we see too often around the camera industry. Doesn’t have anything to do with you. As soon as youtubers have a few followers / success their ego grows to a point that they take themselves too serious. Or look better than average, call themselves influencer and become narcissist. Terrible!
I know why they hate you.. (they don't.. but eh, maybe they do..lol) If so, its because:
1. You produce 10x as much content as they do.,You do like 20 uploads for every 1 upload they do.
2. You're brutally honest, in a fun and down to Earth kind of way..
3. You're not a company gear shill, that gets everything, and gets it for free, and acts like its the best thing ever made so that you can get more free stuff..
4. and maybe because you poke fun at them...
The funny thing is.., I do the same thing you do.. but with the vaping industry.. I'm in the same boat.. (except I buy literally all of my gear) .. but I'm painfully honest, even if it hurts the egos of these other bigger channels out there.. and people respect that I'm 'real' about everything..

i bingggeee camera channels when im about to make a huge purchase, but once purchase is over i regress...except yours lol specs are not entertaining; they are informative. once i no longer need info, i no longer watch lol. on top of that...JUST TELL ME HOW THE SHIT WORKS IRL. too much high brow and snobbery in the camera world. you, kai, and julia trotti are the only camera channels i watch post major purchase because yall tell me what i need to know in an entertaining way. is it viral content that makes your channel explode? nah. it's too real for that. but it's genuine and entertaining to those who get it.
All these chaps i found to be pretensious and taking themselves very seriously, not the case with Kasey.

Who wouldn’t love this channel, seriously lol Used to watch Vegetable Police when you made the trek overseas for your health and caught the first video to ever drop on this channel within hours of it coming out and been watching ever since. I remember watching a matti video to get a review about a lense, or camera, and i literally only learned about what he likes to eat and also his 1 wheel skate board, he talked about the camera for 2 mins and then i learned about todays sponser which was something to do with a square in space??
I used to watch PM and tried to watch matti, but all he does is vlog and ride a one-wheel.

As for Matti Hapoja, I caught him talking nonesense a couple times and don't take him serious anymore. Besides that he most of times doesn't come up with own discoveries or knowledge but copies the content/information of other channels. It's so funny. Throughout the years some channel poped up some fancy tech word and BAMM it's all over RUclips and every channel pretended to be the wise guy. So boring.
If I really wanna learn something about film making and gear here's where I keep my eyes on:
Gaffer & Gear - RUclips channel about lights by Australian based industry professional
Cook Optics - RUclips channel by world renowned lens company Cooke with dozens of interviews by high end industry professionals who talk about their day to day work
Set Lightning Technician's Handbook by Harry C. Box - book on gaffer and grip work that became union standard, no other book comes close to that
Digital Color Correction by Steve Hullfish - great book about what the title says, there's some more good books about that theme I just choose this one
American Cinematographer Manuel by the ASC - funny story about that down below
The Cine Lens Manuel by Jay Holben, Christopher Probst - gigantic book about cine lenses and what not, to much to learn in a lifetime ;)

Fun story: On some RUclips channel that was actually doing nice stuff I critzised a video for using the highly incorrect and technically wrong term "crop camera/factor" that is still used by people who refuse to understand how their gear works. The guy from the channel was totally pissed about that - I was nice for once though - and claimed the ASC was using that term too. So I grabed my copy of the ASC Handbook and looked it up. Well, turned out THEY DON'T. "Crop factor/camera" doesn't even show up in the index in the handbook. The ASC does mention a "transition factor" though in case you have to reshot some stuff with different gear and it also mentions that some cameras crop in on their sensor when using certain settings. I replyed to the channel poiting out that the ASC does not mention any "crop-whatever-bullcrap" but on page this and that they point out the above. Never read back from that guy.
When it comes to cameras and film making RUclips is full of bullshit.

Jared hates anyone who doesn't use full frame, but I think Tony is kind of chuffed that you single-handedly got us all to rename bokeh toneh. He is however confused that after burying MFT, Panny Boy keeps releasing cameras that tempt him, and us MFT-rats keep scurrying around and loving the format he pronounced dead.
As someone who has been known to have a good word or two about Panny Boy, you open his wounds from the day he buried his GH5 and Sigma 18-35 f1.8. Every time he passes the MFT gravestone in his backyard, and has to kick aside the latest generation of MFT-rats he thinks of you, and your kind words about that Leica 200mm f2.8, and he imagines you in your backyard feeding us MFT-rats with slices of SD cards, and he starts to think that maybe he needs to do another burial, this time of the Toneh word.
But he just can't do it, because he secretly loves that every time he goes to the supermarket the cashiers all say "hey, Toneh." He just doesn't like us MFT-rats saying it as he kicks us away from his car door when he is going home. And he hates that there are still so many of us keeping the format alive.
It is a mixed up world.

Society has lost its sense of humor. I think the 70s through the 90s were the golden era for humor, as people were less likely to have a stick up their @$$ then. None of your jokes are truly hurtful, but are all in good fun. Any person who can't take a joke such as the ones that you say/do are people who lose a good deal of respect from me. I think Jordan (originally from The Camera Store) likes/d you, at least. And you need to do another zoomed-in vlog with a bad British accent soon, a la Gordon Laing.
The self-seriousness of photography on YT and in general is a blight and that's why this channel is a refuge even though I bet most of us aren't even videographers.
I do camera/lens review videos, and I have no problem with people making fun of me because I'm well aware of what a ridiculous person I am lol!
