The way Simone switches from one technique to another, multiple times in just one line is absolutely masterful, she is incredible
The thing is that it's all just one technique, the difference we hear is merely how she produces vowels. It's the beauty of singing.
@@holobenthicNot really, yes she is singing mostly on the mix and head voice, but you can do that using classical or contemporary techniques and completely change the way you sound by, like you said, changing vowels, how you utilize the spaces inside your body, the resonance, tongue position, and those are all different techniques, and it might sound simple but those are actually the things that takes most time for singers to learn, especially learn to fluctuate between them.
@@Marcusrafaelfet but there is no actual difference between a “classical” technique and a “contemporary” one, it’s all just in the way you choose to produce the sound. It takes time yes, but a good singer like Floor for example can do both because she trained in making all these sounds and not just the pop/belt ones or the “classical”.
