I'm a brazilian fan of the channel and this remake was very welcome, it shows the guy in a better light the the previous one, lol. I believe not every brazilian is so openly flirtatious, but only because not everyone of them has got the moves to do so (I can say for myself at least, haha). Being on time is something I value too much and it's often frustrating because in Brazil people are usually late for a fact. And about hygiene, it could not be different living in a tropical country, especially in the hot and humid north where I am from! I loved the video, such a cute couple. Cheers!

I have some funny stories to share during my years in Canada.
The first one involves the shower thing.
I use to take 3 baths/day: 1st before going to work, 2nd before gym and 3rd before sleeping. After observing it, my landlady wrote on the rental lease that only 2 baths were allowed per day, otherwise it will be a fine. 🤣

I'm brazilian and find very odd people who take less than a shower a day! And is not rare here to take more than two in the summer.
Apparently dermatologists say that showering a lot is not good for your skin and hair. The soap and shampoo strips you from your natural oils and causes an imbalance in pH of your skin. They recommend showering 2 to 3 times a week.

@@lissandrafreljord7913 If that was really the case, brazilians wouldn't have skin and hair anymore. We shower everyday, at least 2x, and no one has skin and hair issues caused by showering too much. Ofc the quality of the water has to be considered (here the water contains less minerals, which makes it less noxious) but it is also a matter of culture. Here we also floss and brush our teeth much more often than people around the world usually do.

Dude, I take one shower a day however on some days I take two. Lack of hygiene isn't predominant in Brazil at all then most of Brazilians take at least one shower daily.

Yes! There are men who prefer to stay at home watching movies or maybe playing board games, relaxing stuff, but I'd say most prefer to go to a chill bar when dating and drinking together, doesn't need to be necessarily a loud pub with loud people. Going to bars is more common than going to a fancy restaurant, I'd say.

As a Brazilian who lived for more than 30 years in Brazil, I can confirm that Brazilian men in general are like that. They may seem very interested in you, making you feel really special, but their heart is big and they can always fit more girls. He will introduce you to his family only when he really wants a serious commitment.
Don't be fooled by the charm and apparent joy of Brazilians, men or women, they are great at masking their true feelings, they always seem super friendly and happy when in fact they are full of personal problems (illnesses, debts).
Brazilians in general are very obsessed with being clean: teeth, nails, hair and they are really disgusted by any body odor and will always comment in their circle of friends how "that foreigner stinks".

Very accurate and it is good being noticed because our hygiene habits. Some people don't understand that most men is not "all" men so a few ones are very shy, no sociable and sometimes not clean at all, moreover a few ones are not only possessive but violent. Other thing is that not all men is like Lucas and generally as more unsexy is the man as more persistent he is, and even if you are not interested at all, he will try to kiss you, not matter what because it is a cultural thing here that being with anyone is better to being with no one and being single sounds like being sick or crazy but of course not all people here think this way. @@evc9692 I guess they are similar to men here because Latin cultures have a lot in common. In the other hand I suppose Colombians are more similiar with other spanish speaking cultures like Peruvians or so. In Brazil there is a mix of Latin and some African cultures like some Caribean countries.

@@evc9692 I do not think we are open minded and inclusive, most the opposite. But there is something about Brazil that being sympa is nothing about to like a person. If people like you or don't probably they will smile and talk to you. The thing is maybe you will talk to a person during 10 minutes and if you find the person on the street hours later it will be like the person have never seen you, because being friendly is nothing about friendship. The same way generally dating a person and kissing means nothing at all. So we are not inclusive. It is just we talk easily. Inside Brazil we have very diffent groups and different behaviour and moral values. Some people are good and sincere, others don't but general people are friendly if you know what I mean. Inside Brazil we have different groups and we usually stay in our own group like teenagers in highschool, even clothes, food and places are different, we do not go to the same places, we do not talk about same things. There are many countries inside my country, do you get it? I love here. We just have to be attention if people are sincere or not and accepting that in many situations you will not being accepted, once living here you will have your own group, inside a group we take care each other because we know outside you are alone. Btw this is a stuff deep in culture. If you visit here for a few days, people will be sympa and talkative you will realize some places are very selective and poor people are avoided by exorbitant prices and hostility.
