    As an owner of a living crab I can tell that's not how crabs move but I still love that animation. It's all very well made and pretty creative. Great job, you definitely deserve to be the winner

      @@krownedking3369 honestly its likely one of those things you'd notice is wrong/off with the render at first glance, that said the scenario isnt really the most realistic anyway

      recreating movement is really difficult because our brain absolutly is use to watch them with gravity effect
      so if an anymation isnt done with weight in mind its noticable right away
      look at cgi hero film its absolutly awefull xD
      the same we can say for fine movememt fine gesture that are really hard to do to

    I love the cut into the start of a new sentence which immediately had another cut with your continuing that same sentence. It made me think I was having brain lag.

    What I liked about your piece, is that everyone who opens blender, usually always deletes the cube first, but now you made that mother crab defend the cube/her babies, from anyone who wants to just delete it ^^

    tis the way to do things. go with what's easy and what looks best from your camera angle, it doesn't matter what happens in the back end. you're talented, that render was awesome :)

    Crabs are genuinely one of my favorite animals, so I definately will be checking out more of your funny little crab renders. This was gorgeous and I just think they are such funky little guys, I hope you’ll make more.

    Just so you know, I went to to the beach and crabs don’t slip on the rocks. I saw a crab on a rock while some waves hit it and he didn’t budge at all

    Just shows experience and skill isn't enough to be the best. Even if some of the other commisions might've been better, your theme and idea for the cube turned out to be the most appreciated

    I think the reason you won is because of the way you approached the project, the way your mind works. Yes, you have great skill in Blender, but that's something that can be learnt, and improved on. Nobody can change the way your brain works. Definitely don't stop creating!

    I love that you just made a render you liked and then it actually won🤩 When I saw your render in the montage I was blown away by the detail in your render. So many moving things, so well lit and rendered. Now to hear that it was actually 15 samples and the children had the same animation😂 I love it so much! Favorite video of.     This is great! Seeing your process made me realise that sometimes simple things CAN have alot of impact (like you using metaballs) I especially like the whole tropical vibe of the scene it's really nice, I actually participated aswell (the Jurassic park render) it was real fun making stuff with everyone, anyways congratulations on winning!

    awesome stuff man! i noticed you have noise threshold at 0.01 in your render settings at 7:03. usually you can set it to like 0.1 or even higher without noticable quality loss and it speeds up your renders SO much faster. you probably already know this but saying just in case :)

    Congrats dude 🎉 such a good render, it doesn’t matter if it breaks when changing angles u only need it for that angle, and you had a great/ well optimized workflow, I never would have thought of using metaballs as a water particle!

    1) amazing galaxy brained tips n trix.
    2) my guy. You’re so young. Its so inspiring to see you putting the work behind something like this. 7 years working professionally in multiple industries myself and you are just SO adaptive and good at lighting. Your crab rig was flawlessly simple. LOVE it.
    3) Do you have a video on your specs lol. I’m old as dirt, lazy, and bummingly using a 2015 mac with no horsepower. I love toying with blender (started tinkering with it a year ago) and I really enjoy it.. currently I use nomad sculpt and blender when I want some more samples on things

    Great work mate! The only critique I have is the water looked a little unnatural around the rock, something you could have done was add some foam or something upon collision. Other than that, great work and congrats on the win!
